Very sturdy construction. I showed my 12-month-old son how to climb on it and from the second day he climbed on it. We also use the desk and it is perfect. We haven't used the board yet because the child is only 16 months old, but we will use it.

Did you find this review helpful?I would remove one star for the following issues that I identified, but I am removing two stars because they are all safety concerns.
- The safety latch on the side opens very easily, my one-year-old was able to open it without much difficulty. I will replace it with a stronger one and add a second latch on the other side.
- When the child climbed on top, it wobbled back and forth on the tower and I felt like it could tip over. Perhaps the front legs could be wider. Because the tower is tall, it would need a different center of gravity. However, the child always climbs under supervision.
- Finally, I removed the side legs because we kept tripping over them as a family, and their presence is not essential.
Other than that, it is a sturdy construction, made of expensive and heavy wood, so the price is justified.
It will be used by both children, aged one and three.

He enjoys climbing and using the board, but he is still too small for the table. I expect later when he grows up to use it for meals and activities. The negative is that it wobbles a bit, but it may not have been assembled correctly. It goes without saying that supervision is ALWAYS needed when the child is on it!!
