After two years of regular use in the exact same way, after an hour of ironing and while I placed it on its base, I closed its button and safety, it started to smell bad, burn, and the tip melted at the point of the safety. Of course, after this, it doesn't work. The money I spent went to waste. What can I say, from the beginning it didn't make a good impression on me. After contacting TEFAL company through authorized service, they didn't provide any explanation on how the iron got damaged, they refused to replace it even though it was within the warranty period of 20 days, they didn't acknowledge the manufacturing error of the company, and what they suggested was to repair it with used spare parts, which may not even be available and I have to pay for them as well, used parts, if possible. You pay a lot for the products and the quality is zero.

I am an iron that costs 150€ and produces a good 6.6 bar steam pressure and 440g.
To release steam, I have to hold down the button for 3-4 seconds, it starts spraying on its own for no reason, and stops whenever it wants.

I bought this specific steam iron pump about a year ago and I was completely satisfied. I believe that one important thing is to fill it with bottled water and not tap water (nor of course demineralized). Due to intensive use almost every month, it asks me for anticalc cleaning.
