Without a doubt, an impressive product! Initially, I was hesitant considering the size of the device for the expectations I had, but it is truly exactly what I expected. Personally, I connect it to my laptop through a USB capture card and with the use of an external antenna, I have television everywhere (Edision Nano > HDMI < USB capture device > USB < Laptop). The huge advantage of the device is that if I ever want to connect it to a television, I can do so through HDMI, while it is small enough to carry for the aforementioned use. My other option was to get a USB TV tuner of similar size, but then I wouldn't be able to connect it to a television via HDMI. Therefore, the Edision Nano T265+ is the definition of "best of both worlds" for me! Bravo to Edision!

The image sometimes freezes for 1-2" especially when it's in operation and it reaches excessive temperature to the point where you can't hold it. I hope it only stays at the burning stage and not something more.

2023-06-26Expert userThe first test really impressed me. The decoder took advantage of the monitor's resolution (DELL S2719DGF) by delivering HD image. The menu is quite simple and user-friendly, as well as the remote control. Specifically, regarding the latter, it was also tested on an HD monitor/TV from LG, through which it was found that the remote control - without any previous programming - fully obeyed the basic commands of the monitor (ON/OFF and volume adjustment). Channel switching does indeed have a slight delay, but it is not particularly bothersome. The signal indicator from the remote control ("eye") appears to be quite strong and receives normally from various angles and distances.
It is also worth mentioning that a firmware upgrade (02/2023) for the device is available, which is recommended to be done (I have the impression that the channel switching delay has been reduced - slightly, but it is noticeable). The cable connection process is extremely simple, as long as someone follows the instructions.

Negatives are that:
- every time I turn it on, it turns off by itself after a few seconds and I have to turn it on again. This happens every time you want to turn it on. After it's been turned on 1-2 times, it's okay but it's tiring and if you're in a hurry to open it to see something, you lose at least 1-2 minutes.

Did you find this review helpful?I just installed it a while ago, without any difficulty. Easy to install even for those unfamiliar with wiring. Convenient to eliminate the remote control of the old TV for basic functions such as ON-OFF, Vol + and Vol -.
The channel search was relatively fast and requires an antenna and not just a piece of cable like I needed with the old decoder. As previous reviewers mentioned, it does get noticeably warm, but not excessively... Time will tell if this is okay....
Crystal clear picture for an 18-year-old TV and the sound is very good, giving me the impression that it has improved compared to the old decoder.
I haven't explored the other features yet, but I will come back in due time.
Overall, a good system from a strong name in the industry that shines through its absence! It's like changing the remote control on your old TV!!!

I placed it on an old Sony Bravia B4000 26" from 2009. This particular TV is MPEG2. It was bought for my parents and the unfortunate thing was that a year after its purchase, the digital signal transmission changed to MPEG4 and an decoder was needed. For the past two years, I have been taking it out to the balcony in the summers, just to watch a movie on Netflix via chromecast, as I didn't have access to a TV signal. Recently, I placed a TV socket on the balcony and connected the Edision Nano T265 receiver to the TV. I didn't want the classic table decoder, that's why I chose this one. I was really impressed by its performance. The TV came back to life. It catches all channels crystal clear. The only thing needed is for the TV to have a free HDMI port. It takes power from a USB port. Because my TV doesn't have a USB port, I use an old mobile phone charger that I have plugged into the socket. I noticed that the receiver heats up quite a bit, but without causing any problems. The channels change smoothly, just like on our big TV. I stuck the sensor that communicates with the remote control on the top of the TV. I would like a higher quality remote control, but this one works very well too. Inside the package there is an adapter that screws onto the back of the receiver to connect the antenna cable with the classic plug. If I could find a compatible DVB-T2 card (modula) for the CI (Common Interface) slot, it would be ideal, because it would work only with the TV remote control. They exist abroad, but they are expensive, without being sure that they will be compatible with the TV. So for me the Edision Nano T265 was the ideal purchase.

Σε εμένα λειτούργησαν κανονικά (LG), χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι ισχύει για όλες τις τηλεοράσεις ανεξαιρέτως.
θέλω να το χρησιμοποιήσω για να βλέπω τηλεοραση με την αντένα της κεραίας σε monitor (καποιου υπολογιστη ασπμε). απ' οτι ειδα εχει θυρα για αντένα. Μπορώ να το κανω αυτό με το συγκεκριμένο αντικείμενο χωρίς να έχω video capture device? εάν όχι ξερει κάποιος τι χρειάζομαι για να κανω αυτο που θέλω? Πήρα τον αποκωδικοποιητή Edision Nano T265+ αποκλειστικά για το PC. Τον σύνδεσα σε ένα HDMI Video Capture με USB 3, αλλά ο υπολογιστής δεν βλέπει τον αποκωδικοποιητή. Γιατί συμβαίνει αυτό;
