The bicycle Cube Aim is aimed at mountain riders who are looking for a bike for both asphalt and rough terrains. The large wheel size (29") allows the bike to cover greater distances more easily and respond better to obstacles, such as potholes.
The front suspensionabsorbs shocks from the rough road surface and makes riding more comfortable, safe, and effortless. Cycling offers many benefits for physical health, psychological well-being, and skill development.
Equipped with disc brakes
Disc brakes are considered the best possible choice of brakes that one can choose to have on their bicycle, compared to other types of brakes for the following reasons:
Performance on wet or muddy terrain: Disc brakes operate independently of ground conditions and provide better performance on wet or muddy terrain.
Greater braking power: Disc brakes have greater braking power compared to other types of brakes, as the discs are more effective and suitable for all weather conditions.
Durability over time: Disc brakes are more durable in use and over time.
Tires 29''
The 29-inch tires are a popular size for mountain bikes, but they are also used on other types of bicycles.
This larger wheel diameter (29'', approximately 73.7 centimeters) provides a larger contact surface with the ground compared to smaller wheel sizes, offering better control and stability. They are usually paired with mountain bikes and are ideal for enhancing performance on various terrains, such as trails, forests, and mountains.

Positives:
In general, a very good bike, with a decent frame geometry setup. It has internal cable routing as it should be in all bikes nowadays. It is sturdy and can handle both asphalt and rough roads, as intended. The tires, even though they are Cube, have good grip and surprisingly perform well on dirt. The fork, although the classic SR Suntour XCE28/100mm that you find on most bikes in this price range, performs quite well due to the nice geometric design of the frame, compared to similar bikes.
Negatives:
Now, onto the negatives of the bike, there are some details that make a difference, but they don't change the fact that with some small changes, which the frame deserves, you can have a pretty good bike for on/off situations. One negative aspect is the brakes, which are relatively non-existent and even dangerous. The mechanical Tektro disc brakes are of low quality, which requires an immediate upgrade for your safety, mainly. The saddle is a bit thin and without any gel cover, the gel shorts can become uncomfortable after some time. Now, if someone wants it for simple things, these are the two main things that need an immediate upgrade. If it's for something more extreme, we're talking about upgrading the crankset, cassette, shifter, etc.
