Suitable oil for Fiat Panda Mild Hybrid 2023 6-speed manual 1000cc 3cyl atmosphere. The Selenia oil that the dealership uses is semi-synthetic and they change it every 30,000 km, which is unacceptable. Every 10,000 km you throw it away and put new oil in.

It takes 2.85 liters with the filter. It has the FIAT standard and it says so on the back of the packaging.

Oil consumption of 0.3 liters every 7,000 km is reasonable (the total of the dipstick measurements corresponds to 0.5 liters), so take a 30ml syringe to top up when the oil pressure is low on the dashboard while driving (it flashes momentarily and goes out, no error is displayed). The oil pressure sensor is very sensitive and informs you much earlier than when there is actually a reason to worry, as long as you know what needs to be done.

The Panda's engine has a variable pressure ratio and so the oil pump works over a wide range of pressures in cooperation with the Oil valve that opens, closes, and releases pressure as needed.

This car requires changing all 3 spark plugs and cleaning the EGR at 15,000 km. When the EGR gets clogged, for example from bad dirty fuel, it will again show low oil pressure. If you measure and have oil, you will understand that it is telling you to go to the workshop to clean the EGR valve that has filled up.

With this specific oil, oil consumption compared to Selenia oils is lower. It is not Motul or AMS oil, but it is a decent oil, very commercial and generally easy to find at a low price per liter for today's market standards.
