Description

The Magic Books is an electronic, educational toy for children aged 3+ years, that speaks Greek. It works with the Interactive Pen, which "brings to life" images and words with every touch, teaches children many preschool education topics, plays quiz games, and pronounces words in English. 

With entertaining narration that will "enchant" and keep your child engaged for hours. The Interactive Pen has a special camera scanner and "reads" any point it touches. It also provides the ability to record your voice and save it at any point on the books. Finally, the Pen also functions as an MP3 player to listen to your music anywhere (it has a headphone jack – headphones not included). The Interactive Pen by IDEA is also available with the GLOBE and is compatible with the STILO series – Interactive Preschool Puzzles.

    I bought it today and opened it for the child to play with.
    The pen speaks normally when you turn it on or when you change its programs, but it doesn't scan the books. It stays permanently with the red light on and no matter where I tried it, no luck.
    The instructions are brief, mentioning the pen's programs, but there is no description anywhere about how to activate it (if needed, I have no idea).
    I visited the manufacturer's website to see if I could figure it out... zero results. Tomorrow I will call "idea" to see if they can help me.
    The rating will remain as it is until a solution is found and the pen works properly.
