The book "Learning and Practicing Mathematics in the 2nd Grade of Primary School (Volumes A and B)" is aimed at students, parents, and educators. Its structure and organization follow that of the corresponding school book (Student's Book and Workbook) and function in parallel with it. Volume B contains five units, which are structured into 26 lessons - chapters.
In each lesson, there are two parts:
- "Learning," where the student approaches mathematical concepts and discovers new knowledge. It is accompanied by theory appropriately designed for young students. It is reinforced with extensions and examples.
- "Exercises for Solution," where the student internalizes the new knowledge and "builds" on it through visual exercises and problems. The exercises have a progressive level of difficulty. They are accompanied by examples that help in understanding the requirements. They include topics from Mathematics competitions, adapted appropriately to the cognitive level of the 2nd grade.
The units are completed with review lessons - chapters that evaluate the knowledge of key points. The solutions - answers to all of the above follow.
