Their grip is very good in both dry and wet conditions. The low rating is due to the following: 2 months after I installed them and with only 2500 kilometers, I make a right turn and the tires tear internally because the driver coming from the opposite direction thought he was alone on the road, so I hit the dirt where the asphalt ends. Okay, I think, because indeed the contractor who paved the road left some sharp points on the edges. I change the tire in December. In March, I realize that this particular tire has blown out. I admit I don't know how long I had it. I go to the store and they tell me it happened because of a pothole, and the warranty doesn't cover it! Wait a minute, I say. How did you figure out it was from an impact? There is no sign anywhere on the tire or the rim. They tell me that if it was a tire defect, it would have been noticeable from the first week... let alone from the first hour we put air in it. So why do you give a one-year warranty then? Give it a week! What does the warranty cover, then? I didn't get an answer and I had to pay 100 euros again!

Vehicle Skoda Octavia 2017 in 225/45/17 91V with fuel index B wet A. Replaced the (honest) Sava Intensa UHP2. First impressions after 2 days. Truly comfortable tire for the roads of Heraklion. Also, QUIET. Whoever appreciates a quiet and comfortable rolling quality, this is the tire for you. Overall, they seem promising for city tires. Once I drive more kilometers and on open roads, I will come back with a more comprehensive opinion.
Update. After 8,000 km, my impressions are as follows: Excellent in terms of comfort and rolling quality. Excellent shock absorption on road irregularities. Quiet in the city, on the highway depending on the quality of the asphalt. Very good fuel economy. Excellent grip and braking in dry conditions. So far, no visible wear.
Average but not bad feedback on the steering wheel. Clearly not suitable for sport driving. I still don't have an opinion on wet conditions. It hasn't rained, a difficult summer is predicted.
Update 2, now at 17,000 km and the tires seem to have at least 30,000 km of life left. Very good braking in two instances where I had to brake abruptly. One negative thing I noticed is that they collect a lot of small stones. Overall, I think Continental has found a tire with a very good balance. It's definitely not a sport tire, but it's not as vague on the steering wheel as the T005 or Ecocontact6. I also got them in 185/65r15 for my wife's Corsa.
