The difference in screen size makes the difference compared to the original version (iPhone 14), otherwise it is the same.
It is a wonderful mobile phone, I have had it since it came out, almost a year ago. The only negative is that the battery power has decreased, and at the price I bought it for around €1300, it was not worth it. But now that it is close to €800 - €600, I believe it is very much worth it. It also has a great camera, perfect night mode and video, it is very powerful in games, its screen and colors are clear and vivid. With a few years, a phone that will not disappoint you and you can have it for years, that's why I believe it is worth it.
Coming from an iPhone 13, I can say that I did not see a difference in performance on the iPhone 14 Plus.
The most important differences are the battery life and -obviously- the screen size. I believe that 6.7 inches is the right size to be able to simultaneously see a large part of a website's text.
Connectivity with all the devices I tried was very good (car, headphones, MacBooks, TV, etc.).
The battery easily lasts a day and a half with heavy use.
What every iPhone lacks compared to Android devices even today is the keyboard, which barely passes the mark.
Photos and videos are very good.
Overall, it is a decent device but with a problematic value for money. If it were 30% cheaper, it would be an excellent device
Very good device if you don't mind the known quirks and "innovations" of Apple. The battery is excellent and lasts on average 1.5 days (depending on usage, network, etc). Especially if you come from Samsung, you will appreciate the autonomy. Good build, screen, photos. Like all mobile phones (especially Apple's), it is overpriced (1,400 euros in November 23), but I consider it a good purchase.
As a device, it is flawless. However, its cost is despairing. It loses in the cost/performance ratio due to inhumane pricing.
It has a lightning port, which means you will have to carry a separate cable for it. If it were type-c, it would serve better.

I bought it as a new one because my old iPhone 7 started to have poor battery life after 5 years and the 32GB storage was full. So, I went for this model which was at the best price. The camera has a very nice resolution both in videos and photos. The processor it has is a rocket, it doesn't lag anywhere and it is incredibly fast. The screen could have been at 120hz, but even at 60hz it is quite satisfactory. The phone has a good battery for someone who wants it to last for a whole day.
It's worth its money!
I never had an iPhone before and I was completely opposed to the pricing and overall premium policy of the company. I always believed that the iPhone is a phone for taking selfies and showing off. All of this changed when my Mi9Tpro broke down. It lasted me 5 years without any problems. So, my wife gave me an iPhone as a gift since she has been using only iPhones since 2011. We always had our arguments about the operating systems. I used to say that Android can do everything and that iOS is for clueless people. But with the way I use my phone, I simply fell in love with iOS. I can organize everything and find them whenever I want, just as I set them up. Android is a bit chaotic for someone who wants everything perfect on their phone. Overall, I don't think I would ever go back to Android.
Well, I have a more comprehensive opinion due to various mobile phones, mainly Android. My last phone was the OnePlus 9R with a 120Hz screen. We're talking about a beast of a phone that I bought two and a half years ago and it is still (yes, I'll say it faster than the iPhone 14 Plus) more durable in terms of drops (tested, it has fallen off a motorcycle many times) and other things.
Now let's talk about the iPhone. I bought it because I needed a second device that would have a more basic usage and not for "taking a beating". It is definitely much better in terms of quality in its chassis (aluminum... of course, the 14 Pro is titanium, but okay) compared to the OnePlus. It has perfect features that I had forgotten about for a while (I also had an older iPhone 11). Additionally, iOS is much better for me than Android in terms of discipline and a proper system. Android is a bit chaotic. The camera didn't impress me (for a while, I had the OnePlus 11 in my hands and it had a better camera, and it was incredible).
The box is very small and it contains the necessary device, a cable, and a sticker. I bought a 30W charger from Belkin after researching it on many foreign sites and forums, all of which stated 30W instead of 20W. I also bought a Belkin cable with a durability of 30W instead of 20W. So, an additional €50.
I bought a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case and a screen protector, also from Spigen (it has the same screen as the 13 Pro Max, so if it says so, you should get it). Another good choice for a screen protector is the Zagg membranes that Public puts on (€20). The best cases, although expensive, are the UAG ones, but they are bulky and worth it.
Overall, it is very sensitive and not for the careless. It does not forgive mistakes or falls. My advice is always to first get a case and screen protection and then buy the device.
A very good mobile phone that will not disappoint the average user. The design is excellent and the weight is just right so as not to tire you. The photos and videos are of very good quality, as Apple has accustomed us to in recent years. The screen is also quite good, although it does not have 120Hz, which I consider highly unacceptable for a phone of its price. The speakers are very loud and have nice sound. The processor, although one generation behind, remains very powerful and will not cause any issues. Due to its good battery management, it is likely the best in the series. In short, it is a mobile phone that is very good in all aspects, and its only flaws are the lack of 120Hz, macro function in the camera, and the premium feel that the pro models have. If I consider it worth buying this year, the answer is no, due to its high price and the useful changes in this year's basic models, such as the dynamic island, USB-C, and the more premium feel that make them more modern and futureproof compared to this one.
Very good phone but anyone who is a long-time Android user will suffer..
After 1 month of use: I have missed many things from Android, for example, a remote control for the TV via infrared for free, while iOS only has it for smart TVs and only via WiFi, but: the camera is at DSLR level, also I have stopped closing apps and clearing cache. It runs just as fast as whatever is inside the phone, open.

Good evening. I will talk about this specific model as its owner for 8 months now. I had very good phones in the past, so this makes my comparison a bit more 'experienced', let's say, as my demands have increased.
SCREEN. 9/10. I can't understand which simple user will bother to comment on whether you can see the pixels or not. It is beautiful with very nice colors that make your phone look premium and delicate.
PROCESSOR. 10/10, Clearly. It doesn't matter what you put on it, it will open it quickly and won't freeze. I believe that the high price of the product rewards you with such beauties.
CAMERA. 10/10, You might say it doesn't have a 500x zoom and I want to capture the moon and so on. You are an average user. No one wants to capture the Eiffel Tower from Athens and see it like Tetris, and all phones with zoom above 20x don't make sense to take photos. The portrait and day photos are worth every penny. You really wonder how they improve every year and you think that after each photo it really has excellent results.
PRICE. Now yes, you buy it and go home. When phones with 1500 come out, you think, "Hey, I work for a 50 a day. AND IF... I go to spend 30 of those for a phone? For me, no. At 700 it has now, yes, you buy it and keep it for 5 years until it takes root. If you are one of those people who change phones every year because the other one has a dynamic island, good luck.
OVERALL IMPRESSION? You should get it, guys. It also has resale value and cases, it has everything you want. It doesn't lag, it's beautiful, it has incredible videos, it takes amazing photos... what else do you want?
Do you want to buy a 300 euro phone that takes overexposed blurry photos and in 2 years it's worth 30 euros? Go for Xiaomi. For all the things happening around us, the wise people have a proverb, and in this case, it's worth what you pay for it.

My previous iPhone was the 4s. For the past 10 years, I've only had Android devices - LG G2, Samsung Note 4, Note 8 & Note 10+. Since the 2020 Samsung Ultra was more expensive than the 14plus, I decided to make the switch. I can say that the Note 10+ was very close to the iPhone in terms of functionality. I've had the phone for 2 months now, and it's flawless in everything. Its main use is for work, calls, emails, AnyDesk, a little bit of Twitter, Viber, and maps. The revelation is its battery. I no longer have to worry about running out of battery. I leave for work with 70% and return with 50%. The only use that burdens it is maps. Apple Pay is very convenient, and unlocking is fast unless you have it on the car dashboard and it can't see you.
Negatives: 1. You can't search for contacts by number or intermediate letters. 2. I use the SwiftKey keyboard, but it doesn't work as well as on Android. 3. The calculator doesn't have a history (funny but very important for my work).
First time using an iOS mobile device since the 5s, which was gifted to me when it was first released. I currently own three Apple devices, the first unibody MacBook Pro and an iPad2. All of them work perfectly fine, the only thing I've changed is the SSD and RAM for the Mac. I used to always buy Android devices because I thought Apple products were overpriced without offering anything more than the competition. My last Android device was the excellent LG G8, which is the only mobile device I've ever broken. Throughout the years, whether with LG, Samsung, or Xiaomi, after some updates, I would always have issues and need to restart them or something would freeze. It was always a hassle. So, the time has come for me to get a new device. Seeing my beaten up 5s still refusing to die after so much abuse from my two kids, and my Mac still working after almost 14 years, I decided to try an iPhone again. The price difference is now negligible. The phone feels good in my hand, I never liked bulky phones, and even the 6.1-inch screen is borderline for me to have in my pocket. It looks great, the build quality is excellent without being heavy. I'm not a photographer, but the camera seems good, and the video is even better. What I can judge is the naturalness of the shots, which is similar to LG mobile devices from the G2 and onwards. It also has a notch, which I'm not a fan of, and I would prefer if there was no Face ID, but it's inevitable. I don't play games on my mobile device, and on 4G, the battery lasts over 30% at the end of the day. With 5G, it depends on the reception, as far as I can tell, if you're on the edge of reception, it kills the battery. The call quality is excellent, the mobile device is very fast, and has great Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS signal. Also, something that impressed me was how well I can read text on the screen without it having top-of-the-line characteristics. Ultimately, my decision was influenced by the fact that in many ways, when I tried it out, it reminded me of the G8, and the fact that two devices from the same company are still alive and kicking after so many years. Sorry if I bored you.
Excellent battery life, very good screen, the operating system is a given - you know it, you trust it blindly. There are two reasons why this phone is worth it: 1) its weight, which is just right so that it doesn't tire you out after hours of use, while the maxed-out ones feel like small weights now; 2) Connectivity - the 5.3 Bluetooth class is superior to that of a few devices out there, and the 5G bands are much more stable, especially on the red network, which had a hard time keeping a stable signal in crowded areas!
The camera is clearly inferior to the previous model and even to the 13, but the video is exactly the same!
The screen could easily have had the dynamic island, but other reasons prevented it, and finally, the price difference counts these days..! 120hz vs 60hz - fortunately, the performance of the operating system and the large screen easily save the game. It's hard to imagine 60hz not being a joke by 2023..!!!
Firstly, I would like to mention that I come from the iPhone 13 and I will try to highlight the differences from the previous model.
The no.1 positive aspect is its battery quality. With an average screen usage of around 4-5 hours, it can last for 2 days depending on each person's app usage.
I mostly use it for calls (connected to headphones or car), emails, browsing, maps (GPS), very little social media, and not for gaming.
The reason I chose it was because I believed that the larger screen would be convenient for my work and for its battery. In the first aspect, yes, it is nice to use (for writing and reading) but it becomes tiring to carry, especially for men who don't have a bag to place it in. In the second aspect, things are as expected. Its battery quality is exceptional and it really relieved me that if I don't charge it one night, since it can be at 65-70% the next day, I won't worry about making it through the day! Yes, it lasts around 25-30%!
The photos are good but they don't compare to the pro versions, not even the pro versions of the previous year (13 pro/pro max).
If you're not so interested in photos, then it's an ideal choice and definitely better than the 14 where its differences from the 13 are zero in this usage at the moment. If the 2GB RAM makes a difference in the future, then we'll discuss it again.
Bought a few days ago and first time iOS user. Excellent phone for its price, with the only negatives in my opinion being the 60hz screen and the software that is difficult for me to get used to coming from Android to iOS, as there are significant differences. Nonetheless, very good resolution, sound, incredible cameras, and speed that is quite good compared to the Redmi Note 8 Pro that I had before this.
Don't be afraid of the size, it's comfortable. Tremendous battery for iPhone data... flawless photos, amazing professional-level videos, very fast internet!!
The battery and screen are both very good. I had the 13 but the screen was too small for me. The only reason I got the plus was because of that. Otherwise, everything else is the same.

I come from an Xs Max. Without second thoughts, I chose the 14 Plus mainly because of the money, but also because it covers me as a device. Very satisfied with performance and amazed by battery life.

Perfect phone and the fact that it has a larger battery than the iPhone 14 pro and pro max surpasses it.
From 11, I switched to 14 Plus. It's an excellent choice for those who watch movies or videos on their phone and want a slightly bigger screen at a price slightly better than the Pro Max. The battery is very good, and the video and photos are also good, even though it doesn't have the resolution of the Pro. Personally, I love the color (Starlight) because the side is champagne, neither silver nor gold, and it's not white either, it's more like cream, which makes it more elegant. The classic black and red are also excellent up close, and the photos don't do them justice. I find them more visually appealing than the Pro Max, especially when combined with the recommended screen background. It's a solid value, simple and powerful! The weight is also good. It's not as heavy as the Pro Max, but it's not so light that it feels fake. I highly recommend it.
Edit: As they say, those who rush stumble. I think I rushed a bit because the price dropped, and for the same amount of money, I could have gotten 256GB of memory instead of 128GB. Also, it just came out in yellow, which is really cool! Overall, I have no complaints about the phone. I love it as a color and as a device. Objectively, spring is the best time to buy Apple because prices always drop a bit, and they also launch a new color.
The battery and weight are positive. The camera is quite good (basically the same as the 13) but if you're used to a phone with 120Hz, the screen will disappoint you. I hope from the next one everything will be in 120Hz because it's becoming ridiculous to pay 1200€ and not have what Android phones of 600€ have.
From iPhone 12 Pro, I switched to this!! I didn't regret it at all, it has a big battery! Big screen! Fast enough! It's also quite lightweight compared to its size!
As the owner of both the 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro, as well as almost all previous iPhone models, I got the freshest proposal from Apple this year and I was very satisfied... It doesn't have the cameras of the Pro models or the 120hz screen, but it doesn't compromise on anything else! It will leave most people satisfied with its large screen, battery life, and lighter weight compared to the Pro Max.

2. After 5 months, it has proven to be reliable. The camera is exceptional for simple use, essentially the same hardware as the 13 but with greatly improved software, making it slightly better for photography. The video is top-notch, although it lacks autofocus. The internet is very fast and stable due to the larger "antenna" compared to the 13. The battery lasts all day despite constant use for work and still has 50-60% by 7-8pm. The only thing I've noticed that drains it faster is using Google Maps. I haven't used mobile maps to give a comparison between the apps. For those who want a large screen, it meets all needs and I personally don't mind that it's 60hz. The smooth software makes up for it. It doesn't heat up even with 15-20 apps open, let alone lag, unlike the 13 which struggled in this area. In my opinion, the 14+ is a better purchase than the 14, although the price is steep.
After many years using android (Sony Ericsson, LG, and 3 Xiaomi phones), I decided to switch camps and get an iPhone. The change was significant. Its battery life is incredible for a high-end phone. During sleep, it doesn't lose even 1% of battery, while my second Xiaomi phone (Mi 9T Pro) loses 5-6% from day one. No matter how many apps I leave running in the background, it doesn't affect the performance or battery life at all. It's fast (although this is relative, as the Xiaomi is still fast), but only time will tell. I don't have a full picture of the camera yet because I've only had it for a week and haven't tested it thoroughly. The speaker is of a different quality than my previous phones. Face ID is fast (I didn't expect it) and works in dark rooms. Data transfer from android to iPhone is effortless using the Move to iOS app. The only negative is slow charging. It takes 2 hours to fully charge. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
I upgraded from an iPhone 8. It's much better, bigger, faster, and although I thought it was too big, it's perfect! Finally, I can see without reading glasses :-) The amazing thing was that all programs and settings were transferred from the old to the new! It was magical!

Με χρήση δικτύου 5g και λογική χρήση δεδομένων βγάζει μια ολόκληρη μέρα? Διαβάζω κάτι κριτικές εδώ που λένε ότι δεν βγάζει ούτε μέρα, άλλες στο youtube που λένε ότι τη βγάζει άνετα. Έχω ένα realme του '21 που με 5g βγάζει μιάμιση μέρα και δεν θέλω για κανένα λόγο να μη διαρκεί ούτε μέρα η μπαταρία του iphone. Επίσης αν το πάρω θα είναι το πρώτο μου. Τι από όλα ισχύει τελικά για τη μπαταρία του?
ανάλογα την χρήση που του κάνεις με μια κανονική χρήση πιστεύω στην βγάζει την ημέρα καθώς είναι το μοντέλο plus δηλαδή καλύτερο σε θέμα μπαταρίας

Να ρωτήσω, ένας έμπειρος σχετικά με τα iPhone μπορεί να μου πει ποιο iPhone είναι καλύτερο να πάρω αν δεν θέλω να δώσω πολλά λεφτά για features και απλά θέλω να πάω από Android σε iPhone και να με ικανοποιεί (να έχει καλή μπαταρία, καλά ηχεία όπως τα άλλα iPhone, μέτρια κάμερα δεν με νοιάζει πολύ, καλό performance γενικά και να αξίζει σαν κινητό) . Όποιος μπορεί να απαντήσει και έχει εμπειρία θα το εκτιμούσα! Μήπως αξίζει πιο πολύ το 14; Αλλά και πάλι βλέπω υψηλή τιμή και δεν θέλω να δώσω τόσα.
