In the book "Truth and Existence" there are discussions, speeches, and some questions and answers that place and clarify, in a unique way, the difference between reality, what is existent, and truth. At the beginning, there are three discussions between Krishnamurti and Professor David Bohm. In the first discussion, the meaning of the three terms - reality, existent, truth - is clarified, while in the following ones, the concepts are further developed and some provocative questions are raised regarding the possibilities one has to realize the truth and the type of energy needed for such a thing. The book ends with some questions and answers that shed light on everyday life problems: What is the right way to earn a living, the problem of pain, the issue of selfishness, etc. As always, Krishnamurti does not provide ready-made solutions, convenient answers, and consolation, but helps each individual to see for themselves, with piercing clarity, that the main human problems can only be solved in one way by each person: by themselves and only for themselves, as everyone must be a "student and teacher," "a light unto oneself."
