I would like to emphasize that comments about dark image, dull colors, etc. have no connection with reality. We are talking about a 60 Hz TV, so the image should be evaluated accordingly. It is very good for movies and also for sports. The sound is excellent, and the ambilight provides a tremendous experience. For its price category, I believe it is one of the top choices. The evaluation is for the 58'' model.

So I bought it from a very well-known chain. I have had it for about a month and I have exhausted all the settings it has and the conclusion is that its image in movies and generally when the lighting is low is simply tragic.
Poor image with artifacts and distortion.
In brighter image it is considerably better.
My old LG TV from 2008 has better performance.
I can't watch movies. I am annoyed.
Advice: Before buying an economical TV, you should first see it in operation.
I am seriously considering killing it and buying a decent TV.

The television has software problems. I have opened 2 cases with Philips, they have suggested various settings and 2 software upgrades without fixing the problem.
There is a problem with the channel list. When changing channels, it exits the channel list and randomly displays channels. The picture quality is very poor in low-light scenes. It appears compressed and there are shadows and squares. There is a delay in the sound bar through HDMI and it only returns with a restart. Philips responded that new software will be released. Thirdly, in bright scenes, the picture is good, vibrant colors, quite bright, and with good contrast. In everyday use, the television is tiring due to problems and a bad purchase. I bought it because of ambilight and because I have always had Philips televisions.
