Let's start with the fact that I have owned this particular mobile phone for almost a year now. Specifically, the phone was purchased last July for €245, and currently the version with 8gb of RAM and 128gb of storage is priced at €300. I consider it a good purchase overall for the price I got it a year ago, but I believe that at €300 it may be possible to find something better now. So, let's talk about the positives and negatives.
+ Good sound from the speakers, I was really impressed with the quality the first time I played something, considering it's a mobile phone. The volume is also quite satisfactory. Perfect for watching series on the phone.
+ Very good image, beautiful colors (perhaps not the most intense ones available, but the result is very pleasant to the eye)
+ Fast and no lag anywhere. I've run games with YouTube running in the background and it didn't even stutter for a second.
+ Charging, no discussion needed, you might have forgotten to charge it, you plug it in for ten minutes and you have +30% battery.
- The only major issue I can find is the sound during video recording. The camera is fine in general for good lighting, but quite mediocre in bad lighting, which is expected from a Xiaomi phone. What hit badly, though, is when I tried to shoot a live video for the first time and when I later played it, the sound was terrible. It's the first time I've had such bad sound in a video. I thought I might have hit a faulty piece, but unfortunately it's a general problem with the model. As someone who really enjoys shooting videos, this is a serious downside to this particular model
This mobile phone is very disappointing, the camera does not capture 4K footage, the supposed "108 mp" AI camera captures blurry images even if the phone is stable, the battery drains to 20% within 6-7 hours, and the internet connection is terrible, it lags even if the internet is fast. The processor (Snapdragon 695), which they claimed would be one of the best processors, was a mistake, as the system freezes almost every day.
Disappointing camera. The overall package of the device is a let down. The most impressive feature of this cellphone is the colour of it (Atlantic blue) which to be honest is very beautiful and impressive.
Huge problem with Roaming, it shuts down on its own and you can't have data abroad. Its camera is garbage, it's 3 times worse than the previous model and the front camera is 20 years behind. Its microphone is trash as well, also 3 times worse than the previous model. Overall, it's not worth its money for any reason
A perfect mobile phone for gaming as it has a huge battery and the plus side is that it charges fully in 40 minutes. On the negative side, you cannot make calls on speakerphone, the microphone is very bad when using speakerphone, resulting in people not being able to hear you! It also has the same issue with applications like Discord, causing problems. The camera is very good in daylight, but lacks details in zoom or at night! In my opinion, if you want a mobile phone for gaming, it's worth it, otherwise it's better to go somewhere else!
I have it in my possession for 11 months and I come from Xiaomi Mi 9T. The only negative is the camera. It is the worst, unacceptable in both video and photos, even with gcam it doesn't save it. It's like going back to a mobile from 2014. Version 8/128
Very good in its general functions... it doesn't have any glitches... however, for almost 350 euros that I bought it... the camera is worse than the previous two models. For me, it doesn't make sense for a phone that was released a season ago, 1-1.5 years ago, to take videos and photos with a resolution of only 1080p at 30fps (frames per second), a big downgrade in the camera!! At least it should have been over 60... I really love Xiaomi but this phone, if it's not the pro+ version, is a fail
I have had this mobile phone for almost 2 months and it's time to write a review. For a first mobile phone, it is the best choice if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Don't listen to others who say "Oh, it's not worth the money," or "Oh, it doesn't have a good camera." This mobile phone is worth every penny, I highly recommend it! And the camera is excellent for its price. The only downside is the video.
Just because it displays advertisements during optimization and other functions of the phone, I will not buy XIAOMI again. It also has some issues with sound in parallel applications (e.g. when you are on a call on Discord and trying to watch videos on Instagram, the sound doesn't play) and there are some problems with the Bluetooth (e.g. I connected the phone to a car audio system, disconnected it due to an incoming call, and when I reconnected it to the car, the call was playing through the audio system... I thought it was the car's audio system's fault, but it happened again when connected to another vehicle. It was fixed after device reboot.) All of these happened in less than two months.
I have had the mobile phone for at least 6 months.
Great disappointment in terms of its performance in games with low and medium resolution, it lags and as time goes by, its performance decreases more and more.
If someone calls you while you are in a game, the whole phone freezes and you have to call on another phone to restart it.
If you don't want to restart and clear junk and memory twice a day, get something else.
No, it's not worth its money.
I bought this phone after the m9t, which had a Snapdragon 730 processor, this one has Snapdragon 695, I saw some videos that didn't clarify so much the drop in performance and speed of the phone. In short, the phone lags, in videos on Instagram many times the fps drop in a game I play, photos are so and so. In summary, it's not worth its money, I regret it.
Very good phone. My requirements for a smartphone include communication, photography and video, music, and use as a pocket tablet-computer. It meets these requirements excellently. The battery lasts comfortably up to three days, at least for now, much longer than the one day it lasted on my previous phone, the Redmi 4.
I bought this product and put a case and extra screen protector on it, and today it fell for the first time from a height of 15 centimeters onto a plate, and when I caught it, the screen cracked in one spot and had some other cracks.
Excellent.
I highly recommend it.
It's very fast, it doesn't lag anywhere.
The camera is very good.
Coming from the poco X3 I had and the Note 10 before my wife, I have one complaint, that it doesn't have the option for vlog video clip capture as it was in the options of other models. Unless there is somewhere I haven't discovered yet.
I waited a little while to see if there would be any issues.
It's lightweight, very fast in its operations, and takes good photos.
It has NFC which is now essential and for me it's very important that it has a radio.
And there's my problem.
I don't know exactly what's happening because it only happens on the radio and not, for example, when I listen to Spotify.
The sound is not good.
It's not a signal issue because in the same spot with another phone I hear just fine.
At first I thought it was a problem with the headphones because the sound was only coming from one side.
I open Spotify and it works fine, I open YouTube and I also hear well.
Since it doesn't do the same thing on anything else and these work properly on another phone, it's an application issue.
So for me, it loses one star for that.
I have had the phone for 5 days. It's an upgrade from the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
The sound and camera are better. Night shots are significantly better than my previous phone.
A big plus for me is the charging speed, it charges in half an hour.
At the price of 317 euros that I bought it for, it's amazing value for money.
I still have the Redmi Note 8 Pro from 2020 and it hasn't presented any problems with its 6 64GB storage. Why should I spend extra money for 64GB more that I personally don't need? It also has a glass back, unlike today's more expensive phones that are all plastic. For now, I don't see myself changing my Redmi 8 Plus until a reliable phone like this one comes out, along with the most popular Xiaomi models available today.
Coming from the Xiaomi Mi A3, which I was absolutely satisfied with and only changed because Xiaomi stopped supporting it, I can say that I made a good choice here with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
What can I say, the engine!! It's top-notch, premium, overall flawless! Its charger is a bit bulky but charges very quickly! Its speakers are a little weak but personally, it doesn't bother me. I am very satisfied.
I have had the phone for almost a month. Overall, I am satisfied but I don't think it's worth the money (300€). It's a bit heavy, I haven't used the 5g. The photos are good but not perfect. The battery lasts two days with normal use (phone calls, social media).
It's very slow and generally quite laggy!!! When you try to take photos and then want to make adjustments in the camera app, it's very slow...
It also lags during calls.
I've used it with 1 and 2 sims, when it had 2 sims the situation was desperate...
Overall, it wasn't a good purchase... I'm disappointed with the performance.
I'm getting the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 now and I've had a very good impression so far...
I bought it 270 7 months ago, the 8/128 version. I believe there is no competition for this price!
Positives: incredible screen, very good sound. It does not lag at all, it's a bullet of a phone. Photos are very good.
Negatives: the video, I would say, is disappointing. Okay, you can take videos, but compared to other phones like my wife's iPhone 8, I would say there is a difference in favor of the iPhone. Also, it does not have OIS.
In conclusion, for the money I spent, it is value for money. Now, for 400 euros, the big stores ask for it, no, it's not worth it.
Review for 8gb/128gb. Coming from a redmi note 8 pro which, in my opinion, is one of the best in its low mid-range category. I decided to change my phone after 3 years of continuous use due to a signal cell damage caused by my own mistake. As the next logical choice, it was the 11 pro. The phone is incredibly fast, the difference in RAM and processor is noticeable. The 120hz screen is amazing and satisfies the eye after the 60hz.
Unfortunately, here comes the "but". It saddens me so much to say it, but the camera is the worst I have ever seen. They could have left the camera of the 8 pro and it would have been fine for me. I wouldn't have noticed. Instead, for some inexplicable reason, they made it worse. I didn't upload photos because they need to be compared to another camera and by themselves, they might not make a difference to you. For anyone who doesn't use the camera, it's the ultimate phone, but I believe more or less all of us will take a photo and video here and there and as soon as that happens and the app opens, you think you've gone back to 2015. I don't think I asked for too much from a 300€+ phone in 2023. Maybe with future upgrades, there will be improvement, but for now, whoever wants to take photos for social and in general, I don't think it will satisfy them.
- Very fast in use and switching between applications
- Sturdy construction, large like all mobiles nowadays, screen without many bezels and only the camera on top and center. Beautiful blue color
- MIUI 13, familiar as I came from an older version (on Poco F1), no issues with the software, quite fast too
- Good image and sound, possibility for Dolby Atmos sound
- This particular model has a large RAM (8 GB) and a fairly large capacity (128 GB), so even without an external SD card, you are covered
- Very fast charging with the built-in charger (67 Watt), normal battery life
-
- Camera quality not something spectacular, I will come back after more use, it often blurs at close distances (all with the stock camera app)
- Very weak vibration, and now there is no option to adjust the vibration intensity in the settings, so this is a negative, you hardly notice it, especially on soft surfaces
- It does not have notification lights like other mobiles (like the Poco F1 had), but with some external application (e.g. Always On Edge) this is corrected as you add custom bright notifications wherever you want (notch or around the screen)
With a little searching, you can find it for <300 euros and at these prices it is worth the money.
