Coming from the Zflip 4, which left me with a bitter taste in my mouth due to Samsung's technical support, I decided to switch back to the S series with the aim of having a better user experience, meaning better software and photos at a relatively okay budget, while sticking with Samsung.
The S series is renowned for its exceptional photos (being the predecessor of the S20fe before the Flip), with details that surprised me, especially in low-light shots, both in selfies and regular photos.
It is a small and lightweight device with a comfortable grip in the hand. Personally, I got used to the small size of the Flip and I can't handle big phones.
The fingerprint sensor on the screen with active sensitivity and protective glass is fine.
Its battery is also very good for the usage I have (social media and calls), I charge it every two or three days max.
The software runs smoothly with the Snapdragon, which was one of the reasons I chose the S23 over the S24.
The speaker seemed a bit worse than the Flip, but that's a minor detail, it may just be my perception.
Overall, it currently offers very nice features and quality.

The pit 2024. Much better model than the s24 due to the snapDragon. The change was made from S20 where the screen broke. It is small and convenient like all simple S models. If you charge the battery up to 80%, it doesn't last for a day for any reason.
The fingerprint sensor is much better than that of the S20.
The only major negative is that it does not have extra storage space. But there is no other phone in its price range that gives you what a Samsung simple S series phone gives you in a lifetime.
For its price in 2024 (600€), it is top-notch, maybe even better than the s24 due to the Snapdragon, and better than the basic iPhone models (14,15) for me. It's worth every last euro, we're talking about excellence.
The battery could be better. Also, it heats up quite a bit in some cases (e.g. Wireless android auto). Otherwise, fast, good camera not so much at night though, user-friendly operating system with many options.

1 star because I can't give it 0 stars. What's the point of having a phone with such features (and such a cost) if the battery only lasts 8 hours with moderate use. 8 HOURS! From day one! To start your day and have a dead battery by the end. The phone should come with a power supply. Also, the phone overheats to the point where you can't even hold it after a while. A device purchased through subsidy in April 2023 from Nova with a generous subsidy on an Unlimited All contract. It cost me €510, a very good price for what the device offers. It is owned by my father, who comes from cheap XIAOMI android devices and the main mobile he had before this was a Pocophone F1.
It is a very fast mobile, a work tool. No issues with calls, satisfactory battery, easily lasts a day with data and email, messaging, browsing & basic apps synchronization.
The camera is impeccable in image and video, on par with iPhone 13 & 14 Pro that I have. It receives software and security updates immediately, the main reason I chose Samsung and especially the Galaxy S series.
Also, an important advantage I will mention is the size. A mobile that fits in your pocket, not a brick in your hands, you can easily handle it with one hand. I prefer it over the S24 due to the Snapdragon processor, as the s22 and s24 are with Exynos in Europe.
I got it in May 2024 for around €500. I am very satisfied as I did not want any Chinese brand and the best choice would have been the iPhone 13 pro refurbished for the same money. I didn't want refurbished and I got a relatively recent phone from 2023 that doesn't have crazy differences with this year's s24. My previous phone was 5 years old and I saw huge differences in every area
Very good mobile phone.. very good photos, good zoom and very nice resolution... definitely worth its money... the battery surprised me as it lasts for three days with moderate use... with full use, I assume it will last for a full day for sure... charging is very fast, almost one hour from 1 to 100 percent.
I have bought the mobile phone a month ago. Very good photos even at night, excellent video resolution. Quite a fast mobile phone, convenient to hold due to its small size and very good decision by Samsung to let you download the package with the AI functions. Finally, its only negative is the battery, I would like it to have a slightly longer duration, personally it lasts me 1 day with moderate use.
I have had the chance to use it as a work phone alongside my personal iPhone 12. Since we are talking about a €600 mobile phone, I will say that although it has overall very good features and a very good battery unlike iPhones that have battery issues, I wouldn't say that I would buy it if I had the choice. And that's because:
Face ID easily doesn't recognize the face if, for example, I haven't sat in very good lighting and without scarves hiding me, etc. And for some reason that I don't understand, it frequently makes me enter the passcode instead of Face ID.
The camera of the iPhone continues to be better.
The Samsung hotspot freezes more often than the iPhone's, and I say this because I permanently use the Samsung as a hotspot instead of paying for internet on my personal phone. I used to regularly use the iPhone as a hotspot before, and I see the noticeable difference.
The iPhone has resale value, the Samsung doesn't have as much.
But the worst part: if I let it shut down due to battery, there have been times when I plug it in and it takes even 1 hour to turn on, which I consider UNACCEPTABLE for this price.

I believe that if I am going to spend €400 on a mobile phone, I might as well go for an iPhone. Spending €600 now and encountering such problems really bothers me.
Within a few days, this review received 30 negative evaluations. So many people are dealing with this phone within 72 hours? Could it be that Samsung employees have entered and are doing "biased reviews"? I'm just assuming... because I have never been an iPhone user, but maybe I should become one(?).
I was torn between this and the s24, the phones are almost the same except for the processor where the snapdragon in the s23 is better. The cameras do not have any notable difference, so I preferred the s23 which is also about 150 euros cheaper
It is a pretty good mobile phone, runs smoothly, the camera is great, very fast. I am satisfied with it, but the battery does not last long and the phone heats up easily.
Well, the device was purchased in mid-July and so far I have no particular complaints.
Sound:
Very good, powerful and clear speaker (stereo). For a normal ear, the sound is excellent (for music experts with hearing I can't say).
Screen:
One of the best on the market. The image has color as well as in combination with 120Hz will satisfy both those who often watch content and a normal user. Of course, here I would like to add that 120 Hz is not supported in all applications (e.g. YouTube 60Hz), which I consider a negative. The brightness is very good both in the sun and especially under normal conditions. It does warm up a bit when it's hot (especially during charging) but not too much.
OS:
So far I have no complaints about the operating system because the phone runs smoothly (it only froze slightly twice for 1-1.5 sec.).
Battery:
Here I agree with users who say that the phone lasts about 1 day, but not much because the phone charges up to 80-85% and is used up to 20% (with battery protection ON). I have an average screen on time of 5h when I play YouTube without looking at the screen. I believe Samsung could easily put in a larger battery, but they didn't. From 20 to 85 in 40 minutes with a 25w charger, however, I would like a faster charger. I haven't tried wireless charging.
Photos:
Very good both day and night. There is the pro mode and the Expert row (which you need to download) in which you can experiment and take nice photos. But someone in the reviews here mentioned that there is blurring around the edges (not very high but it's there). I agree with this and you can see it if you take a photo of a page from a book and do a full zoom-in on the edges. However, it doesn't ruin the photo and that's good. The selfie camera is OK, not something to wow about. It could definitely be better. I'm not that concerned about selfies though...

Perfect with 4k60 and 30 fps 8k 30fps (this is not very useful but it's there) and in general, I enjoy using the camera here.
Body: Nice matte aluminum of good quality and for durability, I don't know because I have it in a case with a glass screen protector but so far I haven't noticed any scratches (it doesn't fall often).
Special features:
I use split-screen more often and I really like it because it's activated with a simple swipe from the bottom with two fingers.

All 3 (Vol up, Vol down, on/off) on the right are comfortable and convenient for me, OK.
Fingerprint:
2 out of 10 times it will annoy you because it doesn't work. Really, if it had a better fingerprint it would be 10 times better!
Advice:
If you plan to get one, give a little more and get the 228gb because it has a faster SSD compared to 128gb. It has different technology and is newer compared to the other. Anyway, the phone has a 4k camera and the videos and photos will be larger in size so 228 is suitable.
I liked my device and overall I would prefer it more compared to others (cost 650€)
I have had it for nine months, but this is the first and last time I buy a Samsung device. My annoyance with the phone is purely related to the software and not the device itself, which seems to be full of bugs.
First of all, inadequate fingerprint recognition to the point of annoyance, even with increased sensitivity settings, in case you put the absolutely necessary protective glass for the screen. On the other hand, you can put a membrane instead of glass and try if the screen breaks so easily on a not so cheap phone.
As if that wasn't enough, face recognition also often fails. But even when it succeeds, you have to swipe to use the device, while with any other unlocking method this is not necessary. So to unlock with face recognition you have to take the following steps: 1 double click on the screen, 2 place the camera right in front of you and 3 swipe up. And don't forget: to close the app window you last used and which it brings back after each unlock. This way you are tempted to try again with the fingerprint, which theoretically unlocks faster, just to annoy you once again. Do not use this phone while driving. You will kill someone or yourself, just trying to open it.
Connecting to a computer via USB cable for file transfer is now impossible via USB. They have recently removed it as an option. Watch the video showing how it was done until recently and the comments below that this is no longer possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0v6yFoHOLLs. Now you have to use the app for wireless file transfer, so that Microsoft can access your files and share them with third parties (as explicitly stated in the agreement). Even so, I failed twice to connect and now the Windows website asks me to enter a code with letters on my device. But the device only gives me two options: "I see QR code" or "I see PIN code". The code I see, however, is neither of the two and the phone does not allow me to enter letters. That's why I hated this phone. The problem is that you can't know these things before you buy the device. Only maybe from some honest reviews from consumers who do more with their phone than just take photos, although usually these reviews are not "liked" by many "users". By the way, notice that in all negative product reviews, magically many "users" appear who negatively evaluate each review, obviously so that it is not selected by the Skroutz platform as "the negative review chosen by users" and appears very high in the reviews. This is an overt and clearly dirty practice by Samsung's marketing department, as another user also mentions. For ethical reasons alone, I do not want to own a product from a company that engages in such despicable practices. So the phone is going up for sale.
However, the problems with the phone do not end here.
For example, when I receive a new message, the device does not take me directly from the lock screen to the new message I received, but to where my conversation was before the device locked.
If you happen to close or completely terminate the "phone" application from the "contacts" tab, which happens to be identical to the "contacts" APPLICATION, the next time you press "phone" it will show you contacts. Then they should also create such a tab in SMS, to see "contacts" everywhere!
Some other malfunctions that were resolved at some point with an upgrade were that it did not give me the option to turn off the alarm when I woke up earlier and that the window of an incoming call was minimized when I tried to reject it with an automated message.
The size was the main reason I chose it, because not many android phones are made in compact dimensions anymore. The photos are flawless, as are the videos. I did not notice any kind of distortion or blurring in the images, as some report. Perhaps the problem was resolved with a software upgrade.
Furthermore, it is quite fast, but that's how all phones are at first. And I don't know what will happen when the relatively small battery power weakens. I am afraid that the processor will start to slow down to avoid draining it so quickly.
In conclusion, apart from the feeling that I have a device from a company with shady practices, with this particular mobile I struggle miserably to perform very simple and common actions, such as unlocking it to see my latest messages or calls.
4/4/2024: Today, after the necessary restart following an upgrade, the mobile did not allow me to use the device if I did not create an account with Samsung. I restarted again hoping it would allow me to make some urgent calls that I wanted, but the mobile did not allow me to do anything unless I created an account with Samsung first. So I had to create the account and then try to delete it. In vain. While I was informed that my identification was successful via email, I still received the message that something went wrong and to try again. 4 attempts with the same result. Another star removed, then. When you buy such a device, which is not considered cheap, you do not expect so many flaws. It's better to go for something cheaper like Xiaomi. More honest choices for the money you spent, or at least you don't cry when you encounter such problems.
After 5 years as the owner of the Samsung S9, it was time for a change. An exceptional mobile phone that has done EVERYTHING in my daily life for so many years, without any problems at all!! Compared to the S23, the differences are incredibly noticeable! Super-fast processor, high-quality construction, a size that is easily manageable, and a battery that easily lasts a whole day! I hope it proves to be as reliable as the S9.
P.S. Use the Smart Switch application to transfer everything you have from one phone to another. For those who are not familiar.
The best mobile phone I have ever bought. It comfortably lasts a day of normal usage, just know that the screen-on time is about 5-6 hours, so you can't spend the whole day on your phone. It can last over a day on standby. If the battery life seems okay to you, then don't hesitate to buy it. If you want a phone to spend hours on and play games for hours, it's better to get a phone with a large battery.
Edit: After 5 days of usage, the battery has improved and lasts indefinitely. It gives about 1 hour of screen-on time per 11% of battery! And imagine, this is without battery saver and with a 120 Hz screen. It's the best purchase I have ever made for a mobile phone
I bought the mobile phone for 600 euros from a store that offered it at a price without VAT. The mobile phone works great, has an ideal size for me, an amazing screen, crystal-clear stereo sound, and a very good camera. Overall, it is a very good mobile phone, as you would expect when you pay so much money. The fingerprint sensor with a tempered glass protector requires a second press unless you find the spot perfectly with your finger.
On the downside, the classic Samsung foolishness with the lack of a charger and the relatively small battery size, which is fortunately saved by the processor. The battery with heavy use and 5G turned off (which doesn't bother me at all but it's unacceptable to do so) lasts a day.
The mobile phone is worth it if you pay up to 500 euros objectively, the 700-800 euros it used to cost, was due to the brand and marketing.
It is a mobile phone that does my job, I enjoy the photos it takes, and I hope to keep it for five years. There is no need for anyone to spend so much money just to browse social media.

After 5 months of having it in my hands, it's time for evaluation. Compared to my previous phone, the Galaxy A32 is chaotic. For the 685 euros I paid, I can say that I haven't regretted it for a moment. I have the 128 GB version and it is satisfactory. The speaker is simply incredible, along with the second one that takes full advantage of Dolby Atmos. As for the photos, it is quite good, especially in videos that reach 8K. For the use of applications and games, thanks to the Snapdragon Gen 2, it runs at incredible speeds. I have no complaints about freezing, the only complaint is the battery that needs to be charged twice a day.
For years now, I have only had Galaxy phones. I can say that this one is not as "powerful". The battery doesn't last long enough (with GPS usage for trips and YouTube, not even a day). With light usage, it lasts 1.5 days. It freezes sometimes and the worst part is that the fingerprint sensor doesn't work well. The rear camera takes very good photos, while the front camera is decent. The sound is great, although I would prefer it to be a bit louder, not that it isn't loud enough.
I have it for almost a year and I can say that it is amazing. Perfect photos and very good zoom up to X10. (it goes up to 30 but up to 10 it is exceptional). One complaint I have about videos is that I can't switch cameras when shooting in 4k 60 fps, but other than that, it's wonderful. Stereo speakers with very good sound resolution. For gaming, you should know that whatever game you put on it, it will run it at max graphics. Everything else is excellent. Finally, the battery, although it is small, below 4000 mAh, I can say that it easily lasts a day, including the fact that I charge it up to 85% to make the battery last longer. In the end, very satisfied for 696 euros that I bought it. Value for money.
The phone is very good! Those who love Samsung should not hesitate. I went from the S8, which was a great phone (battery, camera, speed), to the S23. I was afraid of the battery, but it actually lasts for a whole day and many times I charge it the next day when it's at 30%. Perfect photos.
