I have been using the same product for years. I could say that it is a key factor in still having a good amount of hair. I recommend doing a gentle massage for 5 minutes during the shower, and leaving the product on the head for another 5 minutes. Then rinse it off.

While I feel that it cleans the hair very well with a sense of freshness, it does not leave them soft at all. Even with the use of conditioner, it is very difficult to detangle the hair, resulting in breakage. If you want to try it to see if it matches your hair type, start with the small packaging.
