Just installed.. it works fine and seems to have washing capabilities but it won't be liked at all by older people who are not familiar with technology.. too many buttons and indicators!!!! It has a setting for low noise, eco mode that reduces consumption but performance is likely to decrease a bit.. I will come back for more after a reasonable period of use...
In a new house of 90 square meters with 8 cm insulation and with the condition to let it run almost continuously for 18 hours a day, for cooling it operates on the first setting at 25 or 26 degrees and easily maintains the temperature at around 27 degrees and in the distant rooms at around 28.5 degrees. If extreme heat is reached, it may need to go to the second setting. It is quiet, good, and has a gentle wind. The remote management application does not work for me. With these settings, the cooling cost of last summer cost me about 30 euros in electricity comparing the bills, not with precise measurements of kilowatt hours, etc. In a house without insulation, it will definitely be significantly higher.
Placement May 2024. The internal unit is large in volume and not so beautiful. Very powerful in cooling and fan power. The gentle wind function is very useful and enjoyable. Moderate noise. I hope the A+++ rating in cooling is true.

And the most important thing is that internally, in the external unit, the capacitors are single, unlike the previous model where they are double, and that is why it has better performance. Prefer the previous model, it is larger in size but it is much more economical and reliable compared to the new one. The only advantage it has is that the fan of the internal unit can be removed and cleaned, but compared to the advantages of the old one, this is nothing
New TCL air conditioner 3 started in May has the advantage in maintenance, the fan and the blades come out from below and can be cleaned outside the unit, but it is not more economical than the previous one, 2, and it does not have a double condenser as shown in the photos on the external unit. The dimensions of the external unit correspond only to the length and height, 79.5 for length and 54.5 for height, but the depth given as 30 is not accurate, it is 26, it is a smaller unit. The price is the same as the old one, 2, maybe even a bit more expensive, but if you ask me, I would prefer the old one, 2, which has a double condenser and is more economical and tested. Officially, the consumption figures provided by the dealership are better for the old one. In terms of appearance, the interior is completely different, but the external unit looks the same. However, the double condensers are missing inside. It only has a single row, which means it has higher consumption, maybe even more than what the company claims. It must be a gimmick by the media because this feature of the fan coming out of the unit and being washable was advertised by the media a few months ago, in combination with some other spare parts. I believe it is from the media, and my refrigeration technician who installed it confirmed it, even though I was already sure
I ended up after research in a real test. The 10-year warranty with the good import network is the first reason and the price is the second. In the best machines, it is 25 to 35% cheaper and the performance is worthy. The purchase is really worth it. The feeling is amazing and the gentle wind is great.
The air conditioners I have purchased are all MIDEA. This year, I decided to go for something cheaper, since everything is... fake. It really pleasantly surprised me. Very efficient, many settings for its price (blinds, cleaning, eco, air intensity, remote control with backlight). I highly recommend it.
Subject of price and product towards the expensive side, as more well-known air conditioners are at a similar price. The automatic fan is quiet, at high speeds it can be heard but it is expected.
The official representation in Athens on the website has announced that it does not recognize and does not cover a 10-year warranty from certain stores. I do not know how legal this is according to EU laws.
The only negatives are:
1) The server for remote settings is in China. Personal data, etc. etc. is a question mark.
2) The remote control only works when it is facing front. It struggles from an angle.

I was also impressed by the gentle wind function, which is not the silent mode or the sleep mode that some may confuse, it has its own separate button... in this mode, the horizontal direction blades close completely and have some configured holes that do not allow the air to escape and create a nice sensation in the room without blowing... I have never seen this in an air conditioner before.
The only negative aspect might be the large size of the external unit, as I have purchased the 9,000 BTU for one room and it seems a bit big, but the positives outweigh the negatives
I have it for a few days and replaced a MIDEA. I trusted it because the refrigeration technician recommended it to me and because it has the support of the Turnikiotis group (imports Mitsubishi). It works continuously due to the heatwave. It is quiet inside and outside, nothing creaks, and it is quite efficient. I really like the gentle wind feature that creates a sense of coolness without directing the air anywhere specific. The TCL application on the mobile phone works flawlessly. I will come back in the winter with an update of the evaluation.
