I've had it for about a year and it's amazing.
It’s convenient from all aspects and cooks very well.
I once reached 380 degrees and everything in the house cooked perfectly. In general, it never smoked, the color never faded, and it doesn’t make any noise. Nothing, everything is good and it gets incredibly hot
Stove provides a lot of heat and pretty quickly warms up the space. i had to learn how to use the air passages - when putting in more woods i could avoid smoke coming back by opening a little the down drawer for ashes so the air flow from down to chimney lead all smoke into chimney. And yes - very glad that i read the reviews before installing the stove, I burned some woods with just a section of chimney outside reaching high temperature, and there was unpleasant smell (most likely from paint?) so all that smell was outside and afterwards when the stove was inside there was no smell at all.
Absolute tool. I have it in a 30sqm, and I chose this one because I want an oven. And it heats up to a degree that we can open windows without freezing, and it cooks incredibly delicious food in the oven. Very good construction and after the first winter, I have nothing negative to say.
I bought it in 2011 and it worked non-stop until 2016 in a 135 square meter maisonette that couldn't be heated in any way economically. The house was 30 degrees on the upper floor, 25 degrees three times a day, filled up completely every 8 hours, at 12 midnight, 8 in the morning, and 3 in the afternoon. And the house was always warm as can be. The only problem I had was that it emitted a little smoke from the joints, but it was annoying. I took it to a friend who wrapped it with a gasket and it never emitted smoke again. Then I gave it to another friend and it worked for another 3-4 years. Now I have it in storage, it's in very good condition, and I light it once a week. It's the best thing I have ever bought. I bought it for 300€ and it's fantastic. It has ash and dirt, but it's a solution for very economical heating consumption throughout the winter, around 7.5-8.5 tons of wood, but in a 135 square meter house with a lot of cold.
I will light the stove for the tenth winter this year, I have no complaints so far.
It requires proper placement in the space and in the flue for proper draft.
It definitely burns a lot of wood, but it is proportional to the warmth you want to have in your space.
I wonder how it went up to 380 from 200 it had two years ago....
let's get to the point about its 2 years of operation
as a construction, the seams are bad, they are stitched instead of being glued
the glass and the area around it peel due to the temperatures, resulting in the door not sealing properly, when you close the oven door, there is a gap where there is no glue, so it releases smoke, therefore unhealthy smoke inside your space and blackening of the walls, especially near the stove, the cord from the glass keeps coming off if you don't constantly stick it back in place, yes, it does heat up but everything else is negative, cheap construction, not quality, with material economy and throwaway, the description refers to corners placed vertically without any tension problem, the oven is unacceptable, if you don't raise the baking tray with firebricks by 3-4 centimeters, you will burn everything from below and above, in short, you need to learn how to bake in this oven, also the thermometer is not reliable for baking, sellers, please wake up, you are not addressing idiots.
I have it for 3 winters, I put a 125mm chimney because you can't find a 130mm in the Greek market. Good suction, easily warms up the house. I am very satisfied. It still gives off a smell during the first burns. Do the first burn in an outdoor area because it will smell very bad.
Excellent stove in performance... Very good construction.. The first time it needs a good burn to get rid of the smell.. Unfortunately, though, I bought it for 190€ in 2021 and now I see that it has reached 400€ because I want to buy another one.
The annoying thing is the noise it makes from the expansion and contraction, jumping in the air when sitting down. I think they could have secured the back of the stove better with a couple of small rails!
I bought this wood stove two months ago for €450. The supplier was reliable and very helpful. The first time I lit it, I reached 300 degrees to burn off the paint for 2 hours. Since then, it has been running at 200 degrees and everything has been good so far. I highly recommend it without any reservations. It doesn't produce smoke or odors. Just make sure it is from the Greek dealership as there is a difference in the door seal due to the glass cord.
It saved us.
We have it for 15 years.
It heats, cooks, and there is always a pot with a lid full of hot water on top ready for every use. We even take baths with it.
I bought it a year ago for €310 and it's worth every penny. I highly recommend it, even though the price has now gone up, it's still a great investment
I have it for three winters already, this year will be the fourth. Good construction, very heavy stove to be moved, STURDY, and as a previous reviewer mentioned, WOOD EATER! It catches fire very easily, after the first twenty minutes, the chimney does not smoke at all, the oven is excellent and very fast for cooking as long as you start cooking at 180°C, not at a higher temperature. Inside the oven, because the bottom lifts up, I have placed the grill from an electric grill and it has worked perfectly.
Avoid somewhat damp wood or wood that retains moisture because you will be constantly cleaning the ashes. It collects all the burnt ash in the vertical ashtray (in the drainage hole) and there it "builds" mud and then goodbye! Then it clogs the rest of the ashtray and more in the corners.
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PLACING IT CLOSE TO A WALL AND DO NOT HAVE FURNITURE AROUND IT WITHIN A METER DISTANCE... ALSO BE CAREFUL WITH THE ASHES IF THERE ARE FRAMES OR CURTAIN WOOD ABOVE THEM...
THE TEMPERATURES FROM 220°C EASILY EXCEED 340°C IF WE PUT WOOD INSIDE, ESPECIALLY OAK OR PINE... BE VERY CAREFUL!
DO THE FIRST IGNITION OUTDOORS, BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE A FRESHLY PAINTED HOUSE, IT WILL CRACK! Let it work outdoors for at least two hours at low temperatures (up to 220°C).
And finally, for economy and more heat, after the stove has heated well, close completely the sliding drawer in the ash collection container and close the damper located in the chimney by 70-80% (for wood economy) and place a fan slightly tilted on the side of the stove at the lowest speed (on the first level).
Let me write a few words about the wood and my observations...
-Oak, burns very fast and produces a strong flame. Prefer large logs 35-40 inches long by 20 inches wide.
-Beech and Oak: Slow-burning. Prefer smaller logs and make sure they are split wood to burn more easily, otherwise you will constantly add kindling to maintain the flame and therefore the temperature in the house.
-Olive: Also slow-burning but not as much as beech and oak.
-Lemon and orange trees: In my opinion, the best wood with intense flame and longer duration than oak.
-Pine, only for kindling...
-Fig tree, STAY AWAY! It clogs the chimney in no time! They wouldn't even give it to you for free!
-Juniper and Myrtle, very good burning and wonderful scent of mastic outside the house.
-Vine, Rose, and Hibiscus, ideal for kindling.
-Pomegranate, almond, apricot, peach trees. Moderate to good burning.
It only heats the main space. The rooms in an 80 sqm house are not heated at all, and a big downside is that if it exceeds 250 degrees, it smells like metal. After two years of having it, it still smells the same. Stay away. It's a waste of money
Perfect stove, easy to assemble, easy to use and maintain. Very efficient, heats up the room with 4 separate chambers so you can stay only with your thinnest clothes. We have placed it in the hallway and it heats up all the rooms. It doesn't smoke and in the supply (we followed the advice of other users for the process and everything is okay). The food cooks very quickly, so it requires attention, very tasty. It's worth its money.
I bought the stove for my grandparents' small 54 sqm house. The house is heated quite well even though it was built with cement blocks 50 years ago and is very close to the sea, with a lot of humidity. In the first few days, it smelled excessively. It would be good for someone to light it in the summer when it can ventilate the house more easily. In the cooking area, you can easily cook a meal. On top, you can only warm up a little water, not cook. After a month of use, the only problem it presented is that when the stove heats up or cools down, the metal back of the stove contracts or expands with a quite loud sound, which sometimes scares. Overall, I would say that the product is worth the money we paid. I reserve judgment if anything else arises in the future.
Awesome stove. It's scorching hot. When the oven thermometer reads 250-350 degrees, there's a heatwave inside the house. Even with short sleeves. The oven is also amazing. The food is delicious, but to cook properly, the temperature should be 150-180 degrees Celsius.
Honest purchase and very good performance, if you fill it well, you simply don't sit in the same space with all your clothes!
It heats a 80sqm house without any other heating source, the kitchen where it is located is at 27 degrees and the other rooms are at 21-22 degrees with 9 degrees outside. When you open it to feed it, close the extractor if you have it on, open the flue gas valve slightly and pull the ashtray handle outside, otherwise once it ignites it burns everything, even green wood. Be careful if you fill it because you enjoy the process (like me), you won't keep up with the wood and you'll have to constantly take out clothes.
Installation is moderately difficult, strictly 150mm diameter flue with contraction and the length of the vertical flues should be greater than the horizontal ones, optionally remove and clean once a month, otherwise wait for it to start smoking...
The house really warmed up, now if the build quality was excellent, it would have earned the fifth star.
UPDATE 8/12/2022
It burns whatever wood it is. When it burns well, it burns everything, regardless of the wood's moisture. I have burned olive, oak, carob, pine cones, and some lemon-orange trees that we got rid of from the estate. However, be careful: with pine, the flue will soon need unclogging/cleaning.

After one year of use (October 2020), with a purchase at 218 euros, let me tell you my observations as detailed as possible. I know that each case is different and has different parameters, so the conclusions are up to you, depending on the area, the property, and your needs. I emphasize that I am not an expert or knowledgeable about the subject and that besides transportation, stove installation, and chimneys, I did everything myself:
1. The stove was installed in the living room on the first floor of a 1970 property in Arcadia, about 85 m2, with simple walls and wooden frames, open from all sides. Above there is a terrace with visible concrete (slab), not a tiled roof, no insulation.
2. I continued the 13-inch outlet (with a damper) with a 15-inch chimney (expansion). 2 meters rise internally, angle outward, 5 meters horizontal with a slight upward slope, and then 1.5 meters rise and an H-type cap.
3. When I received it, I "burned" it for two hours continuously at 350+ degrees (oven thermometer) with ALL the windows of the house open, for the initial strong smells from the paint. Since then, no suspicious smells.
4. It lights up very easily with the damper and the ash drawer's air vent open.
5. It burns perfectly with the damper and the ash drawer's air vent closed, economically and at a temperature (oven thermometer) around 150 to 220 degrees. It doesn't smoke, and there are no smells in the room except for minimal food smells when a tray is placed in the oven.
6. For the period from 6:00 PM to about 1:00 AM, it requires about 15 kilograms of wood. During this time, with the internal doors of the two bedrooms open, the bedrooms are heated normally, and in the living room, you get very warm. You go to sleep and don't get cold by changing clothes. I am referring to a living room of about 40m2 and bedrooms after a corridor of about 3m in length.
7. Whenever a tray is placed in the oven, the result is wonderful.
8. Finally, I would give it a 5-star rating if it had a 12-inch flue and I didn't have to make the 13-inch one it has into a 15-inch one. To anticipate your question, I didn't make the 13-inch into a 12-inch because "experts" told me that with contraction, you risk not having a good exhaust of the combustion gases and having smoke inside the house. I couldn't find 13-inch chimneys on the market to avoid going through the process of contraction-expansion. 12-inch and 15-inch chimneys are available.
That's all for now. I hope I helped at least some inexperienced people like myself. If anything comes up, I will come back.
I have it for 8 years, the only intervention I made was to put glass wool in the oven and I made a small hole with an 8mm drill above the oven and the steam from the food goes out through the chimney! More even baking and no steam inside the house! Now, in order to achieve maximum performance, it is good for it to have a distance from walls, not to have more than 1 meter of horizontal pipe, and wood from the next year!!
It comfortably heats up a 50sqm area. I first used it outdoors to avoid the smell of paint. With 2-3 olive wood logs, the oven reaches 200 degrees, allowing you to cook everything. When it gets too hot, close the chimney regulator to maintain the warmth. Be careful with the house extractor fan, if it is in the same room and you turn it on, it will smoke. Also, before adding wood, open the bottom drawer and the chimney regulator, then open the door to avoid any smoke inside the house.
I have it now for three years and it is amazing. It comfortably heats a 45 sqm space. The only thing you need to be careful about is that it weighs 97 kilograms, and we needed a crane to lift it to the third floor.
In house 110 with poor insulation, only on some very cold days did it need help from a gas heater to warm up the house. Good oven. Overall, for the money, very good, 3 years of full use. The only thing you need to be careful about is that it has a 130mm outlet and we don't have such pipes in Greece, so you should use an expansion to 150mm because I used an expansion to 120mm and it needed frequent cleaning
good stove. as for the oven, yes, it consumes wood to heat up, now for the 80 square meters that some say, they should reconsider it, anyway the next purchase will definitely be another one like this
1930s house. Village with wooden windows and generally poor insulation.
We installed the stove and warmed up, we had an oil stove for many years but also various electrical appliances.
The stove is great and heats incredibly!
Highly recommended
Καλησπέρα παιδιά. Σκέφτομαι τη συγκεκριμένη αγορά αλλά για μπαλκόνι. Τι εννοώ... Εγώ ένα μπαλκόνι μπροστά στη θάλασσα κλεισμένο ερμητικά με διάφανη τέντα και θέλω να κάθομαι στο μπαλκόνι το χειμώνα και να είμαι άνετα . Να χαλαρώνω,να πίνω τον καφέ μου και να μαγειρεύω στο φούρνο. Επίσης τη θέλω αναμμένη και τα βράδια.. να φτιάχνω και κλίμα αλλά και " κλίμα".. τι να κάνουμε.. μια ζωή την έχουμε.. δε θέλω να πάρω μανιτάρι σόμπα σαν αυτά που έχουν οι καφετέριες.. μπορείτε να μου πείτε τι να προσέξω.. από πάνω το μπαλκόνι έχει πέργκολα και σκέφτομαι για να μη τρύπισω τη πέργκολα να τοποθετήσω τη σόμπα στην άκρη του μπαλκονιού να σηκωθεί ευθεία το μπουρι και λίγο πριν φτάσει στη πέργκολα να κάνω τη κλίση για να βγαίνουν οι αναθυμιάσεις...τι λέτε;;
