• CHASSIS TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane Frame). Controls front-to-back movement for stability in the arch and heel.
• Rubber outsole CONTAGRIP. Protects against sharp stones and provides greater precision on rocky surfaces.
• Ortholite insole, an antimicrobial insole with long-lasting durability. It offers improved breathability, sweat and odor control, and is made from a combination of polyurethane and elastic materials.
• Cushioning. A high-performance EVA foam that offers vibration damping, reducing shocks.
• CONTAGRIP MUD. The Contagrip Mud outsole, designed by Salomon for the most loose, wet, and muddy surfaces. It is one of the most iconic features of the well-known Speedcross family of models, as well as other trail models from the company, which are designed for these conditions. The composition of the Contagrip Mud outsole mix consists of softer materials for very high grip on muddy and very slippery surfaces as well as on soft snow. The lugs on the Contagrip Mud outsole protrude significantly to dig deep into soft ground. The large gaps between the lugs are intended to allow mud to quickly escape from the outsole with each step.
