I bought this monitor after a recommendation from a friend who owns it. I wanted a 1440p monitor with high Hz, high response time, and ABSOLUTELY had to have height, tilt, horizontal, and vertical rotation adjustment. For this price and with all these features, there aren't many monitors on the market, so I ended up with this one.
Positives: - It's easy on the eyes and after two days, you fully adjust to it (if you have transitioned from 1080p to 1440p).
- The stand is very sturdy and gives the impression of a more expensive build than what you paid for. The monitor doesn't move with sudden touches on the desk, only if you shake the entire desk.
- The setup is very convenient. It really won't take you more than 3 minutes.
- Obviously, the 170Hz, the response time, and the Freesync Premium are positive features that don't need further mention.
Negatives: - The menu is somewhat user-unfriendly and resembles menus from 8-10 years ago. Personally, it suited me immediately as my previous monitor had a similar menu.
- My monitor has a bit of blacklight bleed, especially in the two bottom corners, with the right side being more noticeable.
- The HDR of the monitor doesn't make a significant difference, so even if you never activate it, you're not missing out on anything. But anyway, if you want good HDR, I don't think you would be looking at this particular monitor.
- *To activate the 1ms, the monitor disables Freesync Premium, so essentially you can't have both activated. This may be a general rule and I may not personally know it, so I mark it as a negative with an asterisk.
In conclusion, for its price and with the added bonus of ergonomics it offers, it is a very decent choice for gaming at 1440p resolution and high Hz. In this price range (240-270€), there aren't many options with all the characteristics of this specific monitor, especially from a well-known manufacturer.
The size was one of the main criteria for me as I wanted to have multiple office applications open simultaneously and I simply decided to invest in a monitor that has some additional capabilities for possible future use. So far, I am completely satisfied.
Very good all-around screen at a competitive price. The 170 Hz makes it ideal for gaming. The accurate colors and good viewing angle make it very enjoyable for watching movies and for professional use like photo editing, etc. Personally, I was looking for a non-curved screen, which limited my options as most of the reputable screens at this price were curved. Personally, I believe this is the best choice if you are looking for a flat screen at this price range (260-270€). As for the stand, it is excellent, making all movements smooth, and it won't leave anyone disappointed. Also, the build quality of the screen and the stand seems to be very good, as the screen is sturdy and doesn't move with the slightest touch on the desk, nor does it give a cheap and fake plastic feeling in hand. Overall, it seems to be a well-crafted construction. The only complaints I have about the screen so far, after about two months of use, are the slightly cumbersome menu and the fact that it takes longer than my previous screen to "wake up" when in standby mode (about 4 seconds). In general, the screen is more than decent and I recommend it. Now, all that remains is for time to show how reliable it is.
