I have changed many smartwatches from Huawei and Apple for the first time to Samsung. The experience is very nice, especially if you also have a Samsung mobile phone. It's a one-way street!
One negative point and perhaps the biggest one!!! The battery!! Why, Samsung, in a smartwatch that costs 400 euros, does it only last 1.5 days, of course with everything open!!
I'm used to the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro, which lasts 12-14 days, and the Amazfit T-Rex 15 Plus, which lasts 1.5 days, but I knew this beforehand!
I also noticed that the strap hurts my wrist for the first time!!
Overall, it's a decent watch that allows you to do whatever you want and frees your hands from the capabilities it has! For the current price of 240 euros, you can buy it with closed eyes!
I won't say much about this gem, it's an amazing watch, beautiful, very good measurements in everything, very nice screen and overall it will cover all your needs. Regarding the battery, I would like it to last a little longer because with a day of heavy use, at night it definitely needs to be charged along with the phone, but it's not a big deal, just like we charge our phone, we charge this too. Personally, I didn't like the strap at all, it was a bit poor quality. Also, I never got used to the button it had, it was difficult to press and overall my hand hurt too much with the way the strap tied and the watch fit, but I bought another one and now everything is fine.
When I wore it, I had a strong buyer's remorse, but it only lasted 1-2 days. I went to GW6 after wearing an Amazfit T-Rex Pro for 3 years, which was a very reliable and trustworthy watch that I almost never took off my hand. I used to forget to charge the battery of the Amazfit. It lasted comfortably for 10 days with full measurements. However, it was too bulky and I wanted something more beautiful.
I bought the GW6 classic in silver version and I agree with the friend who called it a "jewel". Beautiful. Especially if someone also has a Samsung phone (like me), then not only one but many more reasons to buy it. It connects instantly, does everything, so I don't need to look at my phone to check a notification and suddenly find myself staring at cats singing with auto-tune. So yes, I use my phone less and that's good.
As for the measurements, I won't say anything because they seem good to me. Better than the Amazfit, which used to show a heart rate of 195 during exercise. Here, the measurements are within more reasonable ranges and therefore probably good.
As for the battery, I try not to see it as a "watch" but as an extension of my phone. Like a phone that I wear on my wrist. What I do is every morning (even if it's not necessary), I put it on its base for 20 minutes while I make a coffee and take a shower. It has an option to turn off all measurements and become just a watch with a battery life of 20+ days. I haven't needed it.
Is it worth its money? For me, yes, as long as you can handle the "range anxiety".

- I find Samsung Health a bit lacking compared to Amazfit's Zepp, but now they say they will give it a strong upgrade, including AI features. Zepp had them too, but they were paid.

I bought it to monitor my sleep and for running. So far, no complaints. Moderate battery life, but I knew that before purchasing it. If I was solely interested in long battery life, I would have bought a Huawei watch. Also, it has many features and great battery life, but I would lose the convenience of the Samsung ecosystem.
As a construction is very good, it works perfectly here...also it's worth a lot and combines perfectly if you have a Samsung mobile, especially the latest models have no rival in this...HOWEVER its battery is a drama!!!! If you have everything closed and use it a little, it lasts 2 - 2.5 days...if you have wifi location open it lasts about 1.5 days and if you use it to talk and do various things not even a day.....The second downside is that its charger ends in a type-c plug, so you can't plug it into any port you find....!! Great watch but with a huge disadvantage..!!
In terms of build quality and functions, it's awesome. However, the biggest issue is the battery life. I wear it in the morning when I go to work until I finish (8 hours) and then I do 1 to 2 hours of exercise with it and wear it again in the evening for a walk. So, the approximately 14 hours of use are enough to reduce the battery to about 10% from full. Quite disappointing if you think that I don't even have the always on display

The watch is perfect. I only comment on the battery. With a full charge, I have already made 30 hours of calls and it is at 50%. I have made calls through my mobile phone, I have used the oximeter 2-3 times. I have adjusted it a bit. I have disabled the GPS so it doesn't consume unnecessary battery. For those who complain about the battery, I have to say that if you use it all day, with full brightness, and the measurements are constantly running, then it is logical that it won't last you all day. Very good smartwatch. I had read the comments about the battery life and I want to mention the following. It has many functions that you want to have open all the time. So just like you charge a smartphone every day, you charge this one too. Otherwise, you close them all. And if you don't want to charge your phone, you can get a Nokia 3330 that lasts a week.
Connection with s23 ultra flawless. Battery with everything open (heart rate, oxygen, etc.) easily lasts 1 day. Samsung's running application is terrible. GPS is a joke. Heart rate from the wrist is all over the place. Comparison with polar h9 for those who know. If someone wants serious training, they definitely need to look elsewhere. For 3 years now, they have been putting the same, terrible sensors in their watches. Samsung continues to use Exynos while a much smaller company (Mobvoi) has SD. Even Xiaomi's latest Wear OS watch has SD. I would hardly recommend it to a friend.

Very good overall. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that coming from the Galaxy Watch 3 with Tizen (a much older model with an operating system that is no longer supported), I can't say that I saw any significant difference in functionality. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not better in all aspects, but I don't consider the upgrade as big as I expected.
From a technological perspective, the watch is very good and its functions are quite upgraded compared to previous models. HOWEVER, it is inconceivable for the flagship smartwatch of the company to have such low-quality strap. The strap, although seemingly made of good leather material and feels very nice to touch, faded and started to tear at the edges from the first week. Unacceptable if one considers its price and the brand's history. Additionally, the battery life is disappointing. We don't have high expectations, but it should at least last a whole day comfortably, whereas the experience shows that it struggles even with that.
The watch was purchased solely for medical heart monitoring and in this area it excels. Now as for batteries and such things that I read in reviews, I don't care. Fantastic product, beautiful, classy and does everything perfectly. It's not for everyone, it's a tool above all. It doesn't connect to all phones and even if it does, let's say with the poco x4 gt, it doesn't have the ability to send you the pdf of the electrocardiogram. I don't know if with other phones from other companies it has this ability, but definitely with the A32 and A54 that I paired, everything works.
Incredible watch indeed. With the s22ultra that I have, the notifications and the full functionality of the watch work perfectly. I had the Watch4 44 before, but here we have a larger and slimmer screen. Of course, the measurements are better, battery lasts 2 days with everything open. Also, it charges in 1 hour. The best purchase I have made.
Very good watch but it has two major issues.
1) Very low battery life even though I knew it beforehand. It doesn't last more than a day.
2) It doesn't have all the functions if you don't have a Samsung mobile.
Very good for its price if you are looking for a real smartwatch. All notifications from the Galaxy S23 Ultra come exactly as they should. You can reply to messages, messenger, and video calls from the watch, unlike the Huawei Watch 3 Pro that I have, where you only see the notification. An additional feature that annoyed me with the Huawei was when you have Bluetooth headphones connected to both the watch and your phone, and someone calls you, the call does not transfer to the headphones but stays on the Huawei watch, forcing you to speak like a walkie-talkie, unlike this watch that transfers the call. Additionally, if you call someone from the watch, the Samsung transfers the call to the headphones, something that the Huawei did not do and was annoying because you had to manually transfer the call to the headphones. Essentially, with the Huawei, you have a watch that only tells you the notifications but you can't do anything, you have to take your phone in your hand.
The battery easily lasts for 2.5 days, not a full 3 days, but considering all the functions it has, it's great if you're looking for a real smartwatch.
It has many watch faces and many applications that you can install (from smart home to whatever you want!).

The strap in the box was S/M....something that was not specified anywhere..I had to buy other compatible ones in my size, with additional cost since the seller refused to replace it.
A week with the astro edition and I am completely satisfied. The watch is a gem in this edition.
Regarding its features, it has too many functions that I will never use. For me, it is not a watch to be used for the gym, sports, or anything related to extreme activities. There are other options (Garmin).

Negatives: I can't believe how bad the battery is. Apps like Google Keep Notes, Calendar, and others don't communicate with GBoard, but a black screen appears without feedback (although they work with Samsung Keyboard, which I personally don't like). The use of GBoard has been disabled by the company and you have to search a lot to recover it, maybe because of the aforementioned issues. Also, in Google Keep Notes, you can't reverse the photos you took through the mobile app, making it difficult to read notes. GPS with Google Maps is very mediocre if not connected to a mobile device. Health measurements are of average accuracy. Casual appearance, definitely not for a night out. The watch faces are unacceptable, they look like a child's toy (fortunately, there are good paid options available).
I wouldn't buy it if I hadn't been intrigued by the idea of trying a smartwatch. After 2 months of having it, I suspect that most of us have no reason to use a smartwatch.
If you desire a smartwatch with all the conveniences of calls, messages, payments, etc., it is excellent in combination with a Samsung mobile. If you are simply looking for an activity tracker, there are much cheaper options that will do the same job with a longer battery life. The battery that many people mention as a negative, I don't know where they have seen other similar devices last more than 2 days. Having the Huawei gt3 smartwatch, it is an activity tracker and lasts for 12 days, but it is not comparable in functionality.

Honestly, a very good watch.
After almost two months of use, while I have never worn a watch before, it sits beautifully on the wrist, it is comfortable and elegant. It has every function that I consider necessary at the moment from a smartwatch (NFC, phone, message replies, measurements, etc.). The battery WITHOUT the sleep function definitely lasts for 2 days and charges quite quickly.
The device is excellent, if you don't mind charging it every day ... also, Samsung's inflexibility to collaborate with other company's mobiles is tragic. It could have done better, for sure the next watch I will get will be from another company.

Μήπως μπορείτε να μου πείτε αν έχετε χρησιμοποιήσει/ ελέγξει το fall detection (στέλνει μηνύματα), το GPS (για να βλέπω τοποθεσία, αν χρειαστεί) και αν υπάρχει εύκολο SOS button? Υπάρχουν κάποια άγνωστης μάρκας ρολόγια που διαφημίζονται για τέτοια χρήση, αλλά έχω αμφιβολίες για την αξιοπιστία τους. Ευχαριστώ
