More specifically, the method is attempted from the stern of the boat, in two ways: either by holding the fishing line by hand, which is dragged (foam trolling), or with a trolling fishing rod that is fixed to the stern of the boat (bottom trolling). It can be done all year round, but ideally the best period is from late March to early June when the fish come to the shallow zone.
