Beautiful design, compact dimensions, perfect colors, but..
poor grip, I developed pain in my little finger, which evolved into a severe tendinitis, and the wheel doesn't respond after a while.
Recommended only for those who use it very sparingly.

Extremely elegant and beautiful. Its two batteries give it a heavy feel, which I wouldn't say is negative though. Its scroll wheel is quite noisy and feels a bit rough, especially during fast scrolling, and the clicks are moderate in sensation. An excellent choice for laptop users, due to its portability provided by its small thickness. The lack of height and curvature doesn't allow the hand to "rest," so its use is not as comfortable as a full-size mouse, but one gets used to it quickly. The top part is easily removable and has a slot for storing the receiver. It works flawlessly on Linux.

I have struggled a lot with cheap wireless mice that break every six months or require batteries every two months. The hp z4000 is the only one that pleasantly surprised me with its reliability and autonomy, and it has a very comfortable grip that doesn't curve and doesn't cause any problems during prolonged use.

I have had it for over 1 year and I use it daily for 3-4 hours for internet browsing without any problems. (Not for gaming)

POSITIVES

+Impressive design (the cover is glossy and looks very stylish)
+Very good quality.
+Battery indicator light (when it's running low, it continuously flashes in blue)
+Very lightweight
+Excellent scroll wheel. The clicks are very precise and it hasn't peeled off at all, unlike other mice of higher value.
+The glide on surfaces is impressive and doesn't tire at all.

NEGATIVES

-Strictly works with 2 AA batteries. (I mention this because some mice, even though they have two slots, can work with just one battery)
-The biggest negative is the grip. It is considerably lower than most mice, resulting in the palm not "embracing" the top part and basically only slightly touching it. The entire function is done with the fingers. This can be quite off-putting and requires an adjustment period.

(Overall, if there is no issue with the grip, which is different from other mice, I believe it is an excellent choice!)
