  After the good reviews I read, I decided to buy it.
  Without being an expert, its picture quality is quite good, I think an 8.5/10 is accurate.
  Compared to a Samsung that I have in another room, I think the Samsung is a bit better in terms of picture quality on the TV channels.
  In content with Dolby Vision and HDR, the TCL excels.

  However, I want to mention something else regarding the (excellent) service of the dealership.
  My TV had a problem with the hybrid program.
  It didn't display it on the entire screen, but in a small window in the upper right corner.
  I called the dealership yesterday, Monday. I explained the problem to them, and in less than 24 hours, a technician came to my house and fixed it!!!
  It wasn't something difficult, but I was impressed by the very quick service.

  Very good television for its price, 4k 144hz QLED HDR10+ and so on. I can't say it has bad resolution, QLED loses quite a bit compared to OLED. It is MINI LED but it's not incredibly sharp, yes it has a lot for its price but I expected a slightly better picture. I don't know if I would buy it again after my experience with it, maybe I would save a bit more to go for OLED to avoid the problems with the grays. If you can't spend more than 600 euros, it's a one-way street, I just expected more. Speakers are well below average, yes they are very loud but poor quality. I play exclusively games, I've never watched television, with 14600k and 4070 I play everything on ultra and have a great time but... That's it.

Because on the 63rd day after the purchase and installation (not in use obviously since it was completely off for some days) a horizontal line appeared from edge to edge.   I have had this TV for 2 months.
  I am completely satisfied, I recommend it especially to gamers and especially to those who have the latest generation Xbox as it supports Dolby Atmos/Vision, ALLM, AMD Freesync Premium, 120Hz VRR.

  I also really like the stand that is in the middle instead of on the edges, and that has Google Assistant without pressing any button on the keyboard, you just say hey google and the TV listens to you. If you connect a camera with USB you can also make video calls through Google Meet.

  Completely satisfied from every aspect. I have the 65" version for six months now. Knowing this specific TV, and even if it had double the price, I would still buy it. The picture quality is exceptional, if you adjust it correctly. The whites, blacks, colors, brightness, contrast, everything gets a perfect 10 for an LCD LED TV. It has Android software, which is a big plus for me, and its speed in everything is very fast. I have connected a high-end gaming PC and it plays games in 4k 120Hz HDR10. Also, as a very pleasant surprise, the pixel response times are exceptional. Doing the UFO Ghosting Test, the response is excellent. I don't know the exact GtG response time, but for my computer, I have an LG IPS monitor with 1ms GtG and they seem the same to me. Clearly much better pixel response times than the previous monitor I had, which was VA with 1ms MPRT - 4ms GtG. From every perspective, it is worth it for me, even the last euro.

  I will not talk about the picture and other features which are relatively good for the price of the TV. The TV started lagging after 5 months. Something is wrong with its software and it freezes incredibly. You give a command and it takes more than 20 seconds to respond. I tried to contact TCL's customer service for further actions but unfortunately, no one has responded after a month... so don't expect any after-sales support.

  P.S.: To achieve good picture quality and eliminate all distortions and blurriness, you need to invest a lot of time and disable all the image aids that are supposed to help.

  I bought the TV about a month ago, the 55-inch one (if I had the extra 200, I would have bought the 65-inch one, but the difference is small). So, regarding the TV, for a non-OLED one, it is excellent. The menu is fast (a bit annoying that it doesn't close and keeps the apps standby, they only close with a restart). It took a bit of tweaking with the colors and settings, but the result is excellent. The build quality is good, the stand is great, although I have it on the wall because I have a small child. It has great compatibility with the PS5 (that was the main reason I bought it). I got it for 699 from a well-known store. For this price, I highly recommend it, there is hardly any competition at this price range, with these inches and these technologies. (For enthusiasts with special technologies, it reaches 240 fps in 1080p Warzone, etc. if you connect it to a computer). If the buyer wants it purely for gaming, they should go for the 55-inch because it has less lag (this applies to all screens regardless of the brand). If it's for movies and streaming and the space allows it, go for the 65-inch because it has more dimming zones. But overall, I am very satisfied so far. I will come back later with photos

  I have the 50" here for a month now... I wish I had space to get the bigger one!! Tremendous television.. with many picture and sound options. Very good blacks and colors!! It needs adjustments to suit everyone's taste. It will not disappoint you at all!! The build quality is not the best but tcl has taken care so that it doesn't bother you. The only thing I didn't like was the sound but it doesn't bother me at all because I have a soundbar. If you have space, get the bigger one, even the 65" for an even better viewing experience!! It competes comfortably with big brands with more money!!

  An excellent vfm choice, amazing image very bright and with black levels touching oled TV levels. With minor adjustments (in movie mode of course) you achieve a wonderful image. I gave it 4 stars because of the sound which is average so the soundbar is a must and for the not so good viewing angle. Overall though it is an excellent choice and especially in hdr content the image is stunning!!!

  The television, as a simple TV for everyday use, is very good. Its colors are quite natural and its black is quite good. In my personal opinion, those who buy it should choose in the picture mode: movie and sound preset: music. If you spend a little time adjusting the color settings in this option, you will achieve a very good result comparable to much more expensive QLED televisions. This is as a simple television. However, there is a big problem with this specific model. If someone wants to connect it to a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card and wants to use it as a gaming monitor... they will be disappointed. Let me explain: I chose this specific television purely because of its features as a monitor. 144 Hz refresh rate, its panel, the HDMI 2.1 that gives you a gaming accelerator at these Hz, and all the other goodies. I have a Ryzen 9 5900x computer and an NVIDIA RTX 4090, a 32-inch Dell 4k monitor at 144 Hz, so I thought I’d get a 50-inch TV that could give me 4k at 144 so I could play PC games from there too. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The television is incompatible with NVIDIA cards. It does not deliver 4k resolution above 60Hz and even at a color depth of 8 bit. Not even 10 bit. Whatever settings you try to make either on the television or in the settings of the card on the PC to increase Hz or color depth, the television starts to flicker and the screen blinks. I tried another HDMI 2.1 cable in case that was the issue, nothing. Considering that the television was defective, I contacted TCL and explained the problem. A technician from the company came, saw the problem, and took the television to service to have it checked there. Three days later, they contacted me saying that the television does NOT have any problem and that they would send me an email with a PDF file directly from the parent company abroad explaining what exact settings I need to make for the television to produce the features it claims with NVIDIA cards. First of all, the existence of such a file from the parent company means that they are aware of the incompatibility with NVIDIA cards, something that should have been mentioned. They brought the television back to me, I opened the PDF file which briefly states that I need to manually "pin" the resolution and Hz from the NVIDIA control panel for the television to work. Of course, it NEVER worked even this way. To avoid tiring you with too much blah blah. As a monitor, it only works in 8bit 4k at 60Hz and nothing more. This when connected to a PC with NVIDIA cards. It may work with AMD cards or with a PlayStation or Xbox console. I do not have a console so I have no opinion. This is my personal experience. If, despite all this, any other buyer has figured out this specific problem, please write it below in the questions section. So, as a television, it is very good to excellent. However, if you are a potential buyer who wants to connect it to a PC with an NVIDIA card... check it out yourself so you don’t waste your money.

  UPDATE 25/05/2024: Two months later, and even though the television has had an update (V8-T653T01-LF1V098 on April 8), none of the above problems have been fixed. The television still does not meet the specifications it advertises when connected to a PC with NVIDIA cards. If you want 144Hz, you will have to lower the resolution to 2k and even at a color depth of 8 bit and not 10 bit as its specifications state regarding gaming. A buyer mentions the delay that the television has when you give it a command. I confirm this as well. Every 15 to 20 days, the television starts to lag significantly in responding to your requests. For example, you press the button to turn it on, and it turns on after 10 seconds. You press to increase or decrease the volume, and it responds after 5-6 seconds. As we say in PCs, it's like its memory is filling up, and it takes time to respond. I solve this problem by unplugging the power cord from the television for a minute (not unplugging the cord from the socket, that's not the same).. This way, it's like the television does a sort of reset, and it returns to normal response times until, of course, it happens again.. Another flaw of the television that shouldn't exist. At least this one you can fix... I will come back with updates....

  UPDATE 15/08/2024 New update (V8-T653T01-LF1V135 on July 5) and it seems that the issue of slow startup after 10-15 days of operation has been resolved. That's why I delayed writing here about the new update. Since the upgrade was installed on July 5, the problem has not reoccurred. However, the compatibility issue with NVIDIA cards unfortunately still persists.

  I have this TV for about two months now. So far, everything is great. Incredible for movies (I recommend Dolby Vision dark or movie profile in HDR). Very user-friendly menu.
  I use it mostly for gaming on Xbox Series X and it performs quite well with minimal ghosting due to being a VA panel, but it doesn't affect the experience in any way. Low response time at 120Hz. Impressive picture quality and plenty of settings for blacks.
  No light bleed at all, and the blacks and colors remind me of Samsung. Vivid and intense.
  Plays FreeSync content at 1440p 120Hz without any issues.

  I've read about issues with green pixels in game mode. It's a software bug that can be solved by resetting the shop (there's a hidden menu where you can format the TV. Search on Google for "TCL C805 how to reset shop").

  I am amazed by this 65-inch TV. I had a Samsung 55-inch and wanted a slightly bigger change. I was a bit hesitant because of the TCL brand, but after watching countless videos and reading comments, I decided to switch from Samsung, which I had all my TVs from, to TCL. Only time will tell if it can withstand. However, the TV has incredibly beautiful colors, great angles, and the menu takes a bit of getting used to because it's Android. The blacks are really black. It performs very well on digital channels, considering the quality we get in Greece. And with Netflix, Disney, YouTube, and everything else you watch there, you truly understand what you have purchased. I hope it lasts...

  A respect to tcl for this television! I had heard that it is up and coming in the world of TVs, but I really didn't expect this! I got the 50-inch for my room and I am impressed both by the picture quality and especially by its blacks, which have always been my main concern with a television! Truly the closest thing to OLED (I have a 65-inch LG OLED in the living room) and the differences are few! Easily 5 stars for both the quality and the price! A similar Samsung with the same features is 300-400 euros more!

  If there was a 6th star, I would give it without a second thought!
  As a loyal fan of Sony and Samsung, I have to say that this one is highly competitive and even has a significantly lower cost.
  Very good quality materials, with an almost invisible metallic frame, and a cover that tidies up and hides the cables at the back of the device. Its "foot" (in the shape of an inclined L) leaves enough space in front for placing a soundbar without disturbing the screen.
  The image resolution is impeccable, the same goes for its whites, blacks, and viewing angle.
  As for the software (with Android 12), it is incredibly good and fast.
  I have saved space and energy by eliminating 2 TV boxes (Vodafone and Android TV box), as the TV's pre-installed and non-pre-installed apps fully cover my needs.
  It works very well with my existing Samsung soundbar.
  Completely satisfied with the purchase.
  The only thing left for me to ascertain is its lifespan.

  Just received it...
  First impressions coming from an LG 3D 12-year-old are extremely positive.
  Very good image quality... Especially in a 4K movie that I put on to watch, I was amazed.
  The sound is also very good... Maybe in the future, I will get a soundbar for the ultimate experience.
  The only thing that slightly bothered me is the menu, but I believe it's a matter of getting used to it.
  It only has one USB port, but with a HUB, you can easily solve your problem.

  I didn't buy it for gaming but for everyday use.
  It is an amazing television and I actually replaced a Samsung 55" model from 2021.
  The result exceeded all my expectations. I give it a 10/10 in everything. I haven't tested the sound because I immediately connected a soundbar.
  The review is for the 65" version and from any angle I look at it, I see well (within normal frames of course).
  In short, don't hesitate to buy it. It will leave you more than satisfied.
  The corresponding Samsung models are 400-500 more expensive.

  Very good, especially for its price (referring to the 50" model, around €600) - powerful sound (but strangely there is a problem with the volume going up and down from the speakers!) Immediate connections to everything, etc. The picture is quite good - I might not know the exact settings yet - we will see in time. Plenty of applications with direct access. Overall, it is among the top ones and with a very good price. (The same of course applies to the other sizes of the 55" - 65" model.)

  Bought for 700 euros a month ago. Everything is perfect so far, except for the two green pixels when viewing HDMI with Game Master enabled. I contacted customer service and I am waiting for an update. If it wasn't for this issue, it would receive a 5 out of 5 rating.
  Update: The technician who visited my home requested a replacement panel, which is not available. Therefore, they decided to replace it through a voucher sent to my email and return the device to the service center. The store, due to its policy, does not offer replacements but only refunds. However, the device needs to be returned to the store and not the service center. After 5 phone calls, the service center blames the store and the store blames the service center, resulting in the service center DEMANDING the immediate retrieval of the device due to the approval of the replacement from abroad, and the store stating that if they don't retrieve it, they won't compensate me. I'm tired of this!!! Draw your own conclusions.
  New Update: Several phone calls later, and after my decision not to proceed with anything, I received a call from the service center again a few weeks later, informing me that the new device from abroad has arrived and we need to schedule a visit from the technician.
