The camera has been used for about 3 weeks.
It is a very high-quality camera, something that becomes apparent from the moment someone opens the package.
Setting it up is very easy, as is placing it.
It has very good image quality both during the day and at night.
Although it has been placed in a location directly exposed to the sun for about 5 hours (SE, ESE orientation), the battery remains steadily above 90% with normal use.
Perhaps in winter, when sunlight decreases, it may drop lower, but in any case, it seems that it can meet its energy needs, especially in Greece where there are conditions of intense sunlight.
The android application is also very good and user-friendly.
I have already ordered a second one, as after the first impressions, it seems to be a very good choice.
2 main comments:
1. The camera does NOT record continuously, 24/7. This is perhaps the main disadvantage for all battery cameras.
It is set to detect motion (human, vehicle, or other movement) and then record a video that is sent to the user's mobile phone. Obviously, at any time, someone can enter the application and see in real-time the area being monitored.
2. Therefore, anyone who wants continuous monitoring/recording of the area will need to opt for a power camera and not a battery one. Also, due to the high cost, anyone who has the ability to power the camera with electricity should also consider similar solutions.
It is a very high-quality camera and very easy to install. It has good resolution quality and a very good wide-angle lens. The Ai tracking works flawlessly, but without zoom, it has not worked for me and I do not know if it can do that automatically.

The battery life depends on the number of shots taken, in normal use it will consume about 4 to 5%.
Now, as for the solar panel, in my opinion, it is very small. My camera, with 8 hours of sunlight, manages to collect about 900mAh and increase by about 3% to 4%. This is roughly the consumption it will have in a normal day. However, in winter when there is no sun, I do not know if it can reach 99% with simultaneous operation, it is a big question I have with such a small panel.
It has nothing to do with other cameras that are sold by weight, this one has many videos on social media and has many sales in America.
I tried to see how many mAh its battery has and if someone can replace them in the future, but I did not find anything. I will send an email to the company to find out, because the battery life and its characteristics are essential.
I have installed it in a spot where it gets both rain and direct sunlight. So far, it seems to be working perfectly. The image quality is satisfactory both during the day and at night. In normal use, the battery appears to be completely satisfactory and charges relatively quickly with sunlight. I have many eufy cameras and this particular one seems to be one of the best choices so far.
For 180€ this standalone camera is simply worth it, its battery never drops below 92% even in cloudy weather it is constantly at 92-100% and I have selected the most power-hungry options. Ai tracking always works perfectly and sends a notification directly to the mobile for what it sees. The only downside is that it does NOT record continuously but only when it sees something from the scenarios you have selected such as people, vehicles or any other movement. Soon I will buy another 2-3
