They should have at least mentioned it on the packaging so I could have placed it somewhere protected. I cannot judge if it scared away the snakes while it was working because I only saw one snake (that's why I bought it) and then I didn't see any more. But it worked for so few days that I can't know.

The product is garbage. It emits a very annoying sound every approximately 20 seconds that is easily noticeable by the human ear. Mice and snakes have a party around it. The only thing this sound manages to do is to break human nerves, because it is not ultrasonic. It's completely useless...

Unfortunately, the product is not waterproof and stopped working after the first rain... Water seems to be entering through the solar panel's window. I consider this unacceptable for a device that is mostly installed in gardens.
