chosen for replacement of old xiomi due to errors and battery drain. this particular phone is fast but simply does not have battery. with data and voice usage, without games, the battery is at 0 in the afternoon. it charges impressively fast but that is not a solution. a phone without battery is not a phone, it is a stationary device, not even wireless.

If you find reviews on the internet, they say it all (with a little search you can find it). The technical specifications of the phone are okay and do what they promise, nothing less, nothing more. A quite significant flaw of the phone is the battery; it doesn't last long. If you are into social media and watch everyone's videos... Then you will definitely need to charge it during the day. If you activate the power-saving mode, the situation improves, but some functions are disabled, not something tragic, but you lose a bit of the user experience of Android 14.
I take away one star because while reviews describe the screen as very bright, in direct sunlight... You look for shade to see what's happening on the phone. Of course, it is much better than a simple LCD screen, but I have seen Samsung that doesn't back down! Also, yes, the speakers are loud, but not so much that if you have it in your bag, for example, and you are outside on the street with noise, you can hear the ringtone. The sound during calls is just fine, and you can also be heard clearly and loudly by your interlocutor.

I have had the phone for 6 months. In terms of speed, it is excellent. Its screen is very good, although I might have preferred it to be brighter. The sound is quite loud and clear. For the money you spend, I don't think you can find anything better. It doesn't lag anywhere, has plenty of storage space, and HyperOS is quite flexible and customizable to my preferences, although I didn't notice a big difference from MIUI. The camera isn't anything special, but I don't have high demands. Some glitches are inevitably present, but they don't ruin the overall experience. The durability over time remains to be seen.
Really the most value for money phone in the entire market. No complaints. Full charge in 40 minutes max and lasts many hours even while playing games
I come from the Redmi Note 8 Pro, which served me faithfully for almost 5 years, and if the screen hadn't broken due to a bad fall at the moment I took off the case, I would still have it. In most respects, the Poco is almost identical to my previous phone. Beautiful screen, but I didn't find anything impressive except for the deeper black. Fast, just like the previous one. Speakers are nothing special. I also didn't like the camera. It requires a lot of adjustments to work properly. With the slightest movement, the pictures come out blurry. However, the downside compared to the 8 Pro is the battery, which is TERRIBLE. With moderate use, no video games, and 5G turned off, the phone DOES NOT last a day. At best, late afternoon to early evening it needs charging. The battery is unacceptable, and I can't believe that my previous phone, even after almost 5 years of use, had a better battery than this one I just bought. I DO NOT recommend it, and I will probably push it for something else soon.
Functionally so far (15 days) it seems really interesting, however with a refresh rate of 120Hz it barely lasts 1 day. With Adaptive Refresh it lasts 2 days, really a relative problem is the very fast battery drain. Otherwise, at least honest to excellent.
It is my worst choice among all my mobile purchases! I have had it for a month and from the very first moment I noticed that its battery was not good even though it had the same milliampere as my previous phone (realme gt neo 2) and as if that wasn't enough, its screen broke after it fell from my hand along with the case and reinforced glass...

I bought it today. Excellent phone! It looks impressive. It runs like a charm! Anyone who knows how to remove the bloatware will make it fly. The camera is decent. The sound is loud. The only downside for me is the screen. I would like it to be a bit brighter.
For the money in this category, I don't think you can ask for anything more. I say this for the demanding ones. There is an improvement in the camera compared to previous Xiaomi models in this category. The only thing I would like to be better is the battery, as I have quite a few apps and it struggles to last a whole day.
Those who say it has a bad camera probably have never cleaned it.
Detailed for the knowledgeable:
Screen: very good, it even has an option to adjust the Hue of each color from the RGB separately and other options to customize it to your liking.
Brightness: very bright screen. You can always see it even under heavy sunlight.
Speakers: I love the speakers, they don't lose quality at maximum volume. It has an option for Dolby and Xiaomi sound (Dolby is better, but you have the option if you want), as well as "spatial sound" for better "3D" audio.
Performance: What you expect from the Snapdragon 8300 Ultra. It runs like butter.
Photos/Videos: as I mentioned above. It doesn't reach the iPhone 15 but the pictures are very nice.
Fingerprint recognition: Xiaomi has always been quick, and on this phone, the average recognition time is 1 second.
Latest technology BT/WiFi, etc.
The bezels are infinitesimally small. I love them.
The charging cable is thick. The 67W needs it (charges comfortably under 50 minutes to 100%).
5000mAh battery, quite standard for Androids, easily lasts a day.
Negatives:
Essentially, the only negative of this phone is the bloatware, which is nowhere to be found on my Motorola, or if it exists, it can be deleted or disabled.
DUST MAGNET. I knew from videos that it attracts dust like a vacuum cleaner, but it's incredible how much dust it collects; you only believe it when you see it. Get a case immediately, and only the area next to the cameras will collect dust (it's on the back of the phone, so you don't see it as much, but still).
If Xiaomi didn't have the bloatware, it would be a 6/5 phone.
Attention. While the phone is great, it has a problem with the European firmware. I changed two phones and they have the same issue. I insert two SIM cards and one of them loses signal and then regains it. After a few days, I received a refund for two phones that were purchased a few days ago from different stores

I've had it for 2 weeks and it is:

The phone is designed for PERFORMANCE and not for perfect photos and videos.

After 5 months, the battery died. It overheats in the sun within 2 minutes at most and freezes the whole phone. Well, as for the photos and videos, I won't even discuss it. I have bought and I have bought Android. It is the only mobile phone that makes me want to switch to iPhone. Money wasted. It is a very good value for money mobile phone, fast and relatively reliable with some quirks that come from previous models of the same series, especially in unlocking sometimes it opens without a passcode or fingerprint and sometimes it asks for either one. I did not use face recognition. The downside is that if you search for help, you will find it in English with... an Indian accent :-)
Also, suddenly the menu for shutdown and restart disappeared and was replaced by a message about the photo, which I got tired of searching for a solution and left it like that for now.

The mobile is a beast, incredibly fast, it didn't heat up after 2 hours of call of duty (and meanwhile it's 40 degrees outside), its screen looks vivid and crystal clear no matter how much sun there is, the colors are perfect, the camera, after what I read I expected it to be worse but it's very very good, overall I believe that for 300€ the best 2 you can buy are this one and the redmi note 13 pro. Because reviews through Scroutz are incredibly useful, I decided to write my own experience about this mobile phone, as it might be helpful to someone else. First of all, I have always had midrange phones because I am not a fan of spending a fortune. I had a Xiaomi Note, which was an absolute value for money before they lowered their standards (pre-pandemic when there were still chips available), with a decent camera, a decent screen, but perfect software and incredibly fast. Then came the Samsung A35 (a disaster), before that the Honor (a disappointment), and even before that Sony (another disappointment). So, I decided to replace the Samsung, which freezes no matter what you do, and go back to Xiaomi. Everywhere I looked, there were excellent reviews and videos that convinced me. Well, in 1.5 weeks, I sold it...
Let's talk about the positives. The phone is fast and serves its purpose very well. Additionally, the company gives you a free super fast charger and a case. It charges in no time.
Now, the negatives...
Screen: Okay, it has high brightness and many nits, but there is no realism in the colors... It feels like the phone is glowing! People look like they are painted, and the environment looks like moving drawings. No matter how much you adjust it, there is no middle ground. Either you get dead colors, almost black and white, or Pokémon.
Camera: Following the screen with its fake colors and excessive sharpness, the camera is like poorly photoshopped images from a commercial. No color balance. I tried sending the photos to another phone to see if it was the screen's fault, but it was the same or worse...
Sound: I truly wonder about the positive reviews... I have the A35, the most clumsy phone, and the sound is a thousand times better than this. It sounds like a transistor with burnt speakers, and it takes a huge effort to make it sound like Dolby.
AND FINALLY, THE MOST ANNOYING THING OF ALL
Guys, in 2024, it is unacceptable to have ads in the phone's settings! Seriously, enough. I could somewhat justify it with the Xiaomi from 2019, which had significantly fewer ads, but in 2024, I find it ridiculous.
Lastly, I want to mention that I bought the phone in yellow, and the company made the great move (sarcastically) to give me a black case. If you're going to do something good, at least give a transparent one!
The phone has a great cost for what it offers on paper. Because, in reality, it gives you stereo speakers, but jumbo ones, not Sonos or something similar. It gives you colors, but burnt ones. It gives you a camera, but a Chinese one. Overall, it seems like a value for money option, but practically, I would prefer if it were more honest. After 4 months..
The battery (I always have 5G on) is a disaster, if you use it, it doesn't last until the afternoon, it has fast charging but you have to carry it with you...

It has the mi browser installed, which you can't delete and it causes freezing and difficulties...
The fingerprint sensor is very good indeed, but the face recognition even opens with sunglasses... I believe that with a little effort, it will even open for someone unrelated...
Before, I had the A52s, if you don't play games, I don't think the X6 has anything special. I had Xiaomi before and then Samsung, and now Xiaomi again... Personally, I would choose Samsung even if it had less RAM and a slower processor, in everyday use, you don't need 12GB of RAM and a super fast processor, you get what you pay for in the end.

Well, I waited 2 weeks before writing a review.
I had the x3 pro and moved to the x6 pro 12/512.
In benchmarks, it indeed achieves the scores mentioned (~1,400,000 in AnTuTu). So theoretically, it is indeed 2+ times faster than the x3 pro.
Practically and day to day, the difference is negligible (here I should mention that I don't play games, so I have no idea what happens there).
I did a test after transferring all the app files from the x3 to the x6 and opened ~20 applications (the ones we all have - e.g., fb/YouTube/messenger/instagram/camera etc., and some photo apps that I use).
No noticeable difference in speed between the two phones.
Regarding photos, the main and significant difference is that the x6 has stabilization in the main camera. Beyond that, if there is good light, they are almost the same.
Screens, here I was hoping for some upgrade, but it didn't seem so to me; theoretically, the x6 is quite brighter, but practically it’s about the same in outdoor areas with plenty of sunlight. Additionally, I probably preferred the colors of the x3. The only advantage of the x6 is the blacks due to AMOLED, but I don't find it particularly important.
Battery is slightly better on the x6, but after 2.5 years, the x3 will have degraded a bit.
Sound, the speakers are slightly weaker than the x3. Maybe a bit better quality, but it could just be my impression.
Another negative of the x6 compared to the x3 (snap 860) is that it runs a bit hotter. Not dramatically, but to a point where you notice it.
Miui vs Hyper Os, they seem the same to me, and I spent some time trying to find differences.
And to conclude with a positive, it is indeed lighter, and you can feel the difference.
In conclusion, it is a good phone, but objectively, the transition from x3 pro to x6 pro is not worth it; in my case, I don't regret it too much because I wanted/needed a phone with 5g.
