Ordered the black buds 5 pro and received the white ones. I don't have an issue with the color of the earphones but I can't ignore that they brought me the wrong color
It's worth a thousand... Connected to a Huawei P20 Pro mobile phone. Nice case. Value for money unquestionable. The sound is unbeatable, crystal clear speech.
Let's speak the truth without beating around the bush
I just received them and threw them in the trash
Because that's where they belong
They don't listen to me and I don't listen when they pass me by
You have to wear both of them and they're really bad
They're not worth a single euro, honestly though
Generally, for the money, it has a pretty good sound quality and it is definitely durable. I wear them at work in a warehouse and they have been through 40 waves but haven't suffered anything. The only downside I would say is the battery that lasts around 5-5:30 hours, however, it fully charges again in 20-30 minutes
Basically, I use the AirPods Pro which are flawless. I bought the Xiaomi as a backup solution for every use. Well, with these specific headphones, great attention is needed in the application to the ear, i.e. in choosing the right size of silicone eartip. The quality of the sound (mainly bass) and the degree of environmental noise isolation depend to a large extent on the application to your ear. At first, I made the wrong choice and had to boost the bass to a point where the headphones distorted the sound. I also heard external noises. Later, when I tried another - more suitable for my ear - size of silicone eartips, external noise decreased and the bass improved so much that it no longer needed enhancement from the equalizer - the sound improved dramatically. Overall, in music, these are not superior to Apple's AirPods - which are the top (but also 4 times more expensive) - but I can say that they approach 70-90% of this performance if attention is paid to adaptation to the ear.
Mid-range headphones
Not 20, not 120
Bought for 55 euros, lasted one month and the right one doesn't work
Didn't drop it, didn't get wet, and I don't use it all day
As far as sound quality is concerned, they are amazing, especially when you adjust them from the app if you want sound cancellation or transparency, and you can comfortably either hear what's going on around you or not hear anything at all. They have nice and decent bass that you can also adjust. I have a little issue with the shape of the headphones in the placement in my ears, but I will get used to it and figure it out
Well, the headphones are excellent. They have better sound than Airpods 3 and the ANC works as it should. The spatial sound that many say they don't like, I found it excellent, especially in music (apple music, lossless). These on iPhone. On Poco X6 Pro they connect with LDAP protocol and the sound improves even more. The app is good and useful with the same features on iOS and Android. I haven't tried it on a call yet.
The only negative thing I can say is the indicator LED which is too bright in my opinion.
Really AirPods Pro for 57 euros that I bought. Because it doesn't go well with Apple, I decided to try these. And I have to say the best. Incredible ANC (I also have a pair of Sony 1000xm3 so I know about good ANC). Amazing microphone, massive connection with one or two devices, an app that rocks with incredible customization, mediocre to mediocre transparency mode (important for those who use them, let's say in the office). Excellent sound quality and interesting ambient modes and EQ presets, the ability to have your own EQ (I would like more than one preset), perfect touch controls.
As for the negatives, I would mention the significant difference in the quality of the case (very good) and the headphones at the level of plastics. I would expect the headphones to be as great as the black case with vegan leather. The very tight silicone tips marked my ears, but otherwise in two days my ears got used to them! Otherwise, VERY comfortable. The app will tell you which tips you should use according to the size and shape of your ears, and from there on you can activate the personalized noise cancellation which is good. For on the go and everyday headphones, I would say buying them is a one-way street.
I entered to write after I bought them reading the comments of others. I bought them exclusively for cycling and I have been using them for about a month. I start with their positives. They are value for money headphones.
1. They have very good clear strong sound and bass that I work at 70%.
2. They isolate external noise very well without having activated the feature from the application and also mentioning that battery consumption is higher. Anyway, I would say it is dangerous already that you almost don't hear what is next to you.
3. In conversation during cycling on the phone, crystal clear.
4. By the way, multipairing phone and iPod. Finally, I must say that they have fast charge.
But let's go to the negatives
1. When I talk on the phone and the call ends, I have to press play on the iPod, otherwise fortunately I have music on the phone and it continues to play from there some unwanted piece.
2. So the battery with inactive use of external noise microphones etc. from where they say 10 hours not 5 but I who use them for 3 and a half hours put the headphones for charging and I see them at 30%. Assuming that the battery should not drop below 20% and they will logically turn off for about 4 hours, I guess.
3. Also with the air and sweat during intense workouts so they don't fall out of the ears and I lose them, I put them back in my ears and accidentally change the previous piece.
In general, they are good since I have twice paid 140 for the Apple Powerbeats and then I dealt with Chinese ones after my top purchase, the Huawei AM61, which unfortunately are no longer available.
I got them as a gift along with the Xiaomi I bought! As soon as I put them in my ear, the world calmed down, the noise cancellation is extremely good! For 55-60 euros they are worth now, get them with your eyes closed, they are fantastic!
I give it a 4 because they are not comfortable in the ear when worn for a long time. The noise cancellation is fantastic to an extreme point. The battery is satisfactory. They connect very easily. And they are worth their money
Having tried both more expensive and cheaper options, I have to say that for a price category up to 100€ there is no competitor. Perhaps the FreeBuds 5i, but they are also more expensive, without having a significant difference. The active noise cancel that you can adjust concerns the external noises that you hear. The microphone is irrelevant and turns on automatically. For example, in a car repair shop, next to a machine blowing air with force, during a call they could hear me clearly, without the sound of the air. And we are talking about a lot of air right next to me. The battery is honest, even more honest without the active filters. *** Here I must mention something very important. The LDAC enhances and offers something more to the sound, WHEN the sound file is of good quality. When it is not (although not necessarily) it causes a lot of distortions and crackles. Personally, I disabled it and I was relieved. If I want enhancement, I adjust it from the equalizer. I forgot to mention that they also have the ability to be located, with the device being found through Google and showing you where they were last connected. We will see how they hold up over time.
The best I have ever worn in headphones...
I had the last two models of a well-known company, which are also very expensive. Xiaomi does the same job, and in some details they are even better! I recommend them without hesitation!
I have had them for two weeks. I have been absolutely satisfied with the sound quality, call quality, battery life, and their application as I also use them for sports activities (e.g. running 7-10 km at a pace of 5.3) without them falling out of my ears or feeling discomfort. They have quite good noise isolation. Regarding connectivity, it is excellent (possibly because I have a Xiaomi phone). In conclusion, I consider them an excellent product with a high quality/price ratio.
They are fine for their money both in conversation and in music. They connect easily to android, I haven't managed it on IOS. They don't stay stable in my ears for long.
Very good headphones in terms of sound quality, battery life, active noise cancellation. Absolutely value for money and highly recommended. I used them with an iPhone where, with the Redmi app, you can customize various things, such as the power of active noise cancellation, the transparency level of sound, while in the Audio Effects section of the app there is an equalizer that affects all the apps from which you listen to sound.
Using the AirPods Pro 2, I found the Active Noise Canceling of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro even better (after all, it is evident in their specifications that the Redmi have ANC up to -52 dB compared to the -25 to -35 of the AirPods Pro/Pro2). However, it is very important (as is the case with all ANC headphones) to choose the right size ear tips from the ones in their box. Also, choosing the right size ear tips significantly affects the sound quality.
As an extra piece of information, you can attach ear tips from AirPods Pro/Pro2 to the Redmi Buds 5 Pro (!) if you have any extras (while the opposite is not possible) and I found that this way the ANC and sound quality of the Redmi surpassed even more those of the AirPods Pro 2!
I would have liked it if they had some additional features, such as a cord hook and wireless charging that we have seen in other headphones.
I give it 4 stars because sometimes it gets stuck and causes some cuts... Until I fixed it by completely deleting them from the specific device I connect to and then reconnecting from the beginning! And BOOM problem solved.
Or even if that doesn't work, try doing the previous step again and just make sure you wear them PROPERLY on your ears. You might need to use ear cushions that fit your ears!
Very clear sound and bass as well, when I talk on the phone they can hear me crystal clear just like I can hear them crystal clear. The only drawback is that the battery drains quite quickly... I don't know if mine are defective in terms of battery life
I did not have any other Bluetooth headphones and I cannot compare them to other very expensive models. However, I give it 3 stars for the following reasons:
1) the ANC seems very basic to me. During a ship trip, the speeches from the TV playing were heard normally. When I have it activated and watch a movie at the same time, the sound of the movie overshadows the ambient sound and the ANC performs very well.
2) There are connectivity issues that I cannot understand if I am doing something wrong or if it is a defect. For example, I have the headphones connected, I talk on the phone, then I close it and start watching a Netflix episode. It does not switch from call sound to multimedia sound. I have to disconnect the headphones, play it, and then reconnect them for it to work.
3) The sound from movies when the ANC is activated is somewhat distorted as if it pierces my ears. It is very likely because it is both an input and output device (microphone) at the same time, but this is a friend's assumption.
I will not say if I recommend them because it is up to each individual's judgment. What I do recommend, however, is to go see and compare models up close, try them out, and then decide! Do not let their good price influence you. The important thing is to achieve a good quality-price ratio for what you offer and what you want!
The only issue I have is with the fit in the ear, they tend to come out and fall off with intense movement.
The sound quality is the best I have tried and the battery lasts a long time.
The connectivity is flawless, you don't even have time to put it in your ear and it's already connected!
The Xiaomi Earbuds app is quite good and user-friendly!
