The Redmi Buds 5 Pro are certified for High-Resolution Wireless Audio and support the LDAC audio codec with a sampling rate of up to 24bit/96kHz, allowing for Ultra HD sound with minimal distortion.
Custom Coaxial Dual Driver Design
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro feature a coaxial dual-driver design, consisting of an 11 mm bass driver with a titanium diaphragm and a 10 mm piezoelectric ceramic tweeter. This design offers accurate sound reproduction across all frequencies, ensuring balanced performance with smooth highs, rich mids, and steady lows, so you can always enjoy high-quality Hi-Fi sound.
Active noise cancellation up to 52 dB
With 52 dB active noise cancellation technology, the noise reduction capability has tripled compared to the Redmi Buds 4 Pro, allowing you to enjoy your music in peace.
Three transparency modes
In normal transparency mode, you can hear ambient sounds without missing a beat. When you want to talk to someone face-to-face, you can switch to voice enhancement mode. The new "ambient sound enhancement mode" captures subtle details from the environment, ensuring the user's safety at all times.
3-Microphone Noise Cancellation + AI for Calls
The headphones feature 3 microphones combined with an AI-based noise reduction algorithm to target and eliminate ambient noise during calls and withstand noise generated by wind at 9 m/s, making clear communication possible even in noisy environments.
Long Battery Life
Enjoy up to 10 hours of playback with a single charge or up to 38 hours when using the charging case, so you can listen to music for as long as you want. With powerful fast charging, a 5-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of music playback.
Touch Control
Gently tap the touch-sensitive area of the headset to change the song, pause it, answer and end calls, as well as perform other functions.

Due to many hours of conversation, I have changed many headphones over the last year:
AirPods (2nd generation) Earbud. They had amazing sound but a tragic battery. In addition, the callers couldn't hear me loudly, obviously the microphone. Probably overrated. I used them for two months.
I turned to Huawei FreeBuds 5i. Very good quality, perfect sound, better battery than AirPods, incredible noise cancellation, multipairing but in the app, sometimes they disconnected. They lasted half a year.
Finally, recently I ended up with Redmi Buds 5 Pro. Very good sound, even better battery than Huawei, multipairing, complete and with a very good app. Callers hear me perfectly. For the money, excellent.
Update: However, in the past month, the right earbud would not connect. Without dropping, without hitting. It was fixed when fully discharged and recharged. With reservations, the 5 stars become 4
It's hard for me to say that a product isn't worth it. Unfortunately, my experience with these particular headphones wasn't good. They have communication issues. Specifically, the first time they pair with both the phone and the computer and work correctly. From the moment you put them in the case and take them out again, they lose connection. To work again, they need to be paired again. I wouldn't write a review if I hadn't made several attempts to resolve it, but I always failed.
I liked: the ease of connection and use, the sound performance.
I didn't like: they don't sit well in the ears (they fall out easily). I didn't find a way to answer a call from the headphones
Nice sound, although I would expect it to be a bit louder in this price range. It has very impressive ANC and convenient shortcuts on the buttons/touch on the headset. One downside is that the battery doesn't last (less than 3 hours) without being able to go back in the case, which also functions as a charger.
I use them for music and a little conversation. On Samsung s24. Excellent. The only downside is that many times while they are connected and you are listening to music, for example, their app does not recognize them and consequently effects like noise cancellation do not change or do not work.
I searched a lot before deciding which wireless headphones to spend my money on & ending up with these, I have no regrets! Since the day I got them, I use them daily & in fact for many hours and I have to say the following: There are no disconnections, the battery life is very good, I hear perfectly & they hear me perfectly, wherever I am. I use them with all my devices, which are Apple & I have never faced any connectivity issues between them.
Get them - with closed eyes.
it's exactly what I wanted, they connect immediately and you can have them connected to both your phone and your computer at the same time. as soon as you stop listening from your phone, it switches and you hear what's on your computer! the battery lasts quite a while, not of course 8 hours but close! finally, they can hear me on calls in the car! for the money, they do a perfect job!
The sound quality is worse than the Redmi Buds 4 Lite, and when you set it to the best quality, the connection is not stable and they keep disconnecting. It's better to buy the Redmi Buds 5
honest sound quality and several options through the app, the battery is of course a bit disappointing compared to the old ones I had (one plus), from the app and comfort in long-term use it is excellent
Good battery
Immediate connection
Personalized settings
Durable against drops, sweat, and water
Very good sound
Very good ANC tested on public transport and airplanes (you can easily sleep if needed)
Noise cancellation is excellent (the reason they were purchased)
They fit very well in the ear, they have never fallen out and they don’t tire me. I wear them for over 6 hours a day every day.
The only negative I have found is that they don’t perform very well when connected to 2 devices (computer - mobile).
a. It may put the call on hold as soon as you pick it up
b. Because it manages which device will be the source by itself, sometimes it makes mistakes
If you know and overcome these 2 issues, they are very vfm and compete with headphones that are double the price in the High category.
For about 7 months that I've had them, they have the same performance.
Tip: If you notice that they are lagging or that the noise cancellation is not working well, reset to factory settings.
The headphones are a bit of a disappointment compared to the previous generation of the series, the Redmi Buds 4 Pro, which I own and which I simply reuse because their successor is very mediocre. I bought them and for the first 2 months I had no problems; on the contrary, they might have been the best Buds I have ever used in my life, but after that my opinion changed. For some reason that I really cannot understand, both headphones cannot charge if I have their case closed. I have done everything I could, from searching on YouTube for any solution to the problem to having a specialist open them to possibly fix their issue. Specifically, the left headphone discharges by itself when it is inside their case and the case has its lid closed, and I am simply forced to listen from the right one until I put it back in the case, where I have to keep the lid open for it to charge. The headphones work fantastically, but from what I can imagine, mine have some software issue that might even be caused by some ANC sensor, and they cannot charge as they should. Their ANC is better compared to that of the Redmi Buds 4 Pro, as is the sound, and the part where you control playback on the headphones is definitely different from that of the previous generation headphones. From my experience, before they started acting up, they are truly the best headphones you can buy at this price, but unfortunately, with this problem they present to me, they are very mediocre unless you have the mindset to keep their case open before using them, which I do, and I am satisfied with their performance that way; otherwise, it is just frustrating.
Adjustments in volume and sound quality due to poor noise cancellation in low wind or other noise conditions. Also, they do not always connect with the app. I would not buy them again
I need to learn how to secure them well, because they keep falling off! Other than that, they have very good sound performance and the isolation from the environment works properly. Not that you can enter a space with other music and not hear anything!
At this price, I didn't believe I would find something that has it all. The battery is very good; days go by before they need charging. The sound at this price is quite good. They are comfortable, and I wear them while running, and they don't move at all. They connect directly via Bluetooth.
very good noise cancelation. they hear me well on calls although a bit low when I am outside and there is wind. if I wear them for a long time they tire me relatively but I experience this with all headphones.
So I bought them and like after 2 days they were here for 70 bucks they sound really good and have really good noose cancelation and other features such us ear tip fit where the earbuds try to figure out if they ear tip you wearing is the best size for your ears
I was swayed by the comments.. The sound quality is objectively not good. They have volume but what good is it if the sound is distorted. I own the Nothing ear bud 1 and they are levels better. I don't care about all the other things, if you have the option, get something better.. Otherwise, you will settle for their mediocre sound
I bought them for the Galaxy A55.
Previous headphones were Galaxy Buds Pro from 2021.
In comparison to these:
- The noise cancellation is better.
- The feel of the material quality is quite worse.
- The sound quality in music is worse.
- There were some disconnections during calls from the very first day.
For the above reasons, I continued to use the Galaxy Buds Pro and hope to replace them at some point with the Galaxy Buds Pro 3.
I believe that for their money, they are the best!! Tremendous anc, finally high volume from Xiaomi headphones, good build quality and very good battery! With the anc on and the volume 2 clicks below maximum, it easily lasts 4-5 hours! I consider it very good compared to the xiaomi buds 3t pro I had before, which couldn't even last 2 hours.. and at full volume you couldn't hear properly.. They also charge in 10 minutes a large percentage of their battery from the case! The sound is honest and with the settings of the app you can adjust it to your liking!
Ordered the black buds 5 pro and received the white ones. I don't have an issue with the color of the earphones but I can't ignore that they brought me the wrong color
It's worth a thousand... Connected to a Huawei P20 Pro mobile phone. Nice case. Value for money unquestionable. The sound is unbeatable, crystal clear speech.
Let's speak the truth without beating around the bush
I just received them and threw them in the trash
Because that's where they belong
They don't listen to me and I don't listen when they pass me by
You have to wear both of them and they're really bad
They're not worth a single euro, honestly though
Generally, for the money, it has a pretty good sound quality and it is definitely durable. I wear them at work in a warehouse and they have been through 40 waves but haven't suffered anything. The only downside I would say is the battery that lasts around 5-5:30 hours, however, it fully charges again in 20-30 minutes
Basically, I use the AirPods Pro which are flawless. I bought the Xiaomi as a backup solution for every use. Well, with these specific headphones, great attention is needed in the application to the ear, i.e. in choosing the right size of silicone eartip. The quality of the sound (mainly bass) and the degree of environmental noise isolation depend to a large extent on the application to your ear. At first, I made the wrong choice and had to boost the bass to a point where the headphones distorted the sound. I also heard external noises. Later, when I tried another - more suitable for my ear - size of silicone eartips, external noise decreased and the bass improved so much that it no longer needed enhancement from the equalizer - the sound improved dramatically. Overall, in music, these are not superior to Apple's AirPods - which are the top (but also 4 times more expensive) - but I can say that they approach 70-90% of this performance if attention is paid to adaptation to the ear.
