The portable air conditioner Inventor Magic 9000 BTU was purchased to be used in an old house (over 100 years old) made of stone where it was impossible to install a conventional air conditioner. The comments regarding the presence of only one hose (instead of 2, which would be correct for it to function as a conventional air conditioner) and the creation of pressure/vacuum in the room and the subsequent intake of warm ambient air through cracks, gaps, etc. are correct. However, the device works satisfactorily, cooling the space (~14 sqm). It even reaches the desired temperature and turns off.
Therefore, for the intended application, it deserves 5 stars. Of course, if there is the possibility of installing a conventional air conditioner, buying a portable one doesn't make sense, as the presence of the hose negates its portability.
It should be noted that the hose was installed using a DIY method, one of the 6 small single-pane windows of an old window was removed, and it was adapted there.
