Power strip that protects your devices from power fluctuations. It alerts you in case it suffers damage due to high voltage, while at the same time preventing high voltages from passing through even when this happens. It features a switch and an angled design for more flexible placement.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can
report it here.
Very good power strip. The ground OK and Surge protection indicators helped me understand which outlets in my house needed to be changed. In some, the ground light did not turn on, which means there was no grounding. The surge is for leakage, and both indicators are very useful.
It broke in a month and the company replaced it for free. The on/off button was sparking when opening and it died yesterday. I also have the PMF83VT-GR for six years in another apartment, it still works, although it sometimes gives me a shock when opening. The simple power strips I have still work perfectly, without any problems. So, if you're going to use it, forget about the on/off button, just unplug it directly from the socket.
Nice quality device, with the ability to be wall-mounted, protecting from power surges and the lights help you understand in which status it is, also important is the warranty they provide, it also has an on/off switch
It is a reliable and good power strip that does its job!! There was no issue with any device during short breaks and power fluctuations!!
It had 2 professional scales and a computer on top!!
The equivalent at home had a computer, a monitor, a laptop, etc
If you are lucky and the devices you will connect all have the classic ending, then the product is good. If you are unlucky like me and the devices have a long ending, then you have a problem. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not foresee placing the positions sideways or vertically!
I have gotten 12 over the course of 4 years. All connected somewhere. They are good, now if lightning ⚡ strikes and everything burns that's another story.
Edit August 2024
The price has gone from 19 to 50 euros.
We have it in the kitchen with 5 devices constantly on it. After 1.5 years, the LED that says "Ground OK" permanently went off, and after experiencing problems where it would trip the relay, we called an electrician and they came and inspected it.
The store where we bought it told us to contact Schneider Electronics directly at +30 21 1990 6100, where they referred us to send an email with the product's barcode and order code. In the end, we will take it for recycling and they will send us a new one.
It was excellent for as long as it lasted, as we have two more of the same in the room, with over 2 years of usage, both with computers, lamps, and monitors plugged into them. Just be careful not to overload it because, as the electrician told us, it can't handle too many watts. I verified this on the Schneider Electronics website, which has a limit of 2300W. Even when it was working fine, as soon as we used a 2200W kettle and a 2000W oven, the circuit breaker would trip. However, with devices that totaled around 1500-1600W, such as a coffee maker (1300W), espresso grinder (310W), milk frother (80-100W), and LED strip (25W) all at the same time, it worked perfectly without overheating, coil whine sounds, or any other issues.
Update 4/5/2023 (3 days after we sent it for recycling): They sent us a new one from abroad, and it arrived within 3 working days, via FedEx. Unbelievable... only APC from now on.
I bought it because my previous power strip was not working. It is really high-quality and does what it says, providing safety and charging mobile phones, laptops, etc. properly with the voltage of the current. I really don't regret the purchase, I will buy more for the house as I need them!!
I have had it for about six months, replacing a Crystal Audio that I had for about ten years and which eventually burned out. (It was worth its money). I don't consider it anything special, it is lightweight, relatively good quality plastic (better plastic than the Crystal Audio I had), it has a good length of cable, no issues there. The only negative is that in order to remove the socket plugs from the outlet (if you want to add or remove something), you will need some pliers, unfortunately it has a very tight child protection... also the On/off button is relatively hard.
Very good product. Besides protecting against power surges, it filters some frequencies beyond the basic 50Hz, resulting in smoother operation of many devices. As a side effect of this, it should not be used before Powerlines. For more serious voltage fluctuations protection, I recommend AVR.
The APC is PERFECT... It performs very well in bad weather conditions and during frequent power outages... None of my devices were affected... Not even the two power strips that I have plugged into it...
In short, it's WORTH IT!!!
Excellent. It has been operating for several years and it is flawless without any problems in power outages that have occurred all these years. APC and minds blown
I have no opinion on other brands, but this particular power strip (presumably) saved me when I plugged in many other electronic devices and a halogen heater on the high setting. Essentially, the circuit breaker of the power strip tripped, not the main circuit breaker of the house. I reset it using the switch on the side.
The only thing someone needs to say .. APC - Warranty.
Update 8/7/2023: 4 more at home. No problem, in one case it tripped the circuit breaker twice due to a short circuit (water) and there you remove it from the power supply, unplug all devices and reset it. Very good quality and highly recommended.
This power strip protects against power surges.
During power outages, NO, it does not protect because the voltage before it drops or before it returns can be low (under-voltage) and that can damage the sensitive electronics of a device. If you really want to protect your electronic devices, you need a voltage stabilizer or UPS, which usually also act as stabilizers.
Very good. I have APC for my PC, refrigerator, and anything else that has a brain and is sensitive.
For the television, I have the other model that has protection for the antenna.
For the refrigerator and washing machine, I have single APC sockets.
During a short storm, lightning struck and the power went out. When the power came back on, both LED panels that I had connected to the power strip were burnt out, along with their power supply. So, no protection at all.. I regret not buying a UPS and thinking that the power strip would do the job.
I bought 2 for 2 televisions with DVD, Soundbar, internal antenna, and Android TV box. Because of the wildfires, there are constant power fluctuations, and it seems to be doing what it says!
I have the largest version with the extra ports for 3 years now, no problems at all (I also have older versions that still work perfectly).
Now, for those who say that the power line doesn't pass through, it is completely normal, guys. The noise is within the frequency spectrum that the noise rejection circuit filters out!
I took the time to make this comment as an electronics expert because I'm tired of seeing comments with inaccuracies on this particular issue.
Ερώτηση: Το παρέλαβα χτες, άψογη η συσκευασία στο κουτί του, όλα τα έντυπα μέσα και... ώ του θαύματος... Και στο αυτοκόλλητο ταμπελάκι, κάτω από το πολύπριζο, με το μοντέλο και τον serial number αλλά και στο κουτί του με τα ίδια στοιχεία, φιγουράρει, φαρδιά πλατειά: PRODUCT OF CHINA... Εχει συμβεί και σε άλλον;;; Τελικά αγοράζουμε τα περίφημα προιόντα APC αλλά 'MADE IN CHINA';;;
