The guide divides the vast area of London into 8 central sections. The rest of the area is divided into 3 major geographical areas: North, East, and Southwest London. The map presents the location and extent of each section with different colors. On the following pages, each area has a color code that corresponds to the respective color of the area on the map. Almost every place mentioned in the text is accompanied by a code that leads you to the larger maps on the covers.
