The lid makes the difference

With the lid closed during cooking, your grilled food will retain its juices and cook in less time. At the same time, heat loss will be minimized, resulting in less charcoal consumption. Additionally, with the lid closed, the hot air circulating inside the grill intensifies the characteristic aroma of charcoal-grilled food that we all love.

Large surface area

Charcoal grill with a large cooking surface of 57x57 centimeters, which will satisfy the requirements of the whole group.

"Wheel is spinning"

It comes with two wheels for easy movement so you can change its position according to your needs at any time. At the same time, there is a small shelf at the bottom to store or secure grilling accessories.

Cleanliness is half the nobility

The ash collector captures the ash and small charcoal pieces. Then, only the ash is removed and emptied, so that there are no hidden charcoals inside the ash.

Collect the ash with just a few movements after you finish grilling. With the ash collection system, all the ash empties into the special tray, making cleanup a breeze.

I have it since 2009. I have it outside with its hood. I have tried almost every simple and cheap version of it. None of them make the meat as juicy as this one. It is expensive but worth it. 10 years and it is like new with a lot of use. You definitely make an investment since you will have bought a bunch of the others.

The grill changes the BBQ and takes it to another level. The "smoking" on the meats is exceptional, leaving them juicy and with an amazing taste. I recommend using only Weber or Kingsford briquettes. Although they cost more, the result justifies the cost.

I do not write reviews often, but only if a product has convinced me. The WEBER Master Touch fulfilled all the desires I had after watching BBQ videos on YouTube. Ideal for both direct and indirect grilling, as well as smoking. For enthusiasts of this type, it is a gift that will be appreciated and will bring joy and full tables for many years.

Of course, anyone planning to buy this grill should keep the following in mind:
    1) WEBER produces a significant amount of smoke when grilling fatty meats/fish, especially when grilling directly on the charcoal. When grilling indirectly (opposite the charcoal), the smoke is almost negligible.
    2) In an apartment building (like in my case), it may create issues with neighbors and limit cooking during cold seasons when balcony doors are closed. Maybe you can manage 4-5 occasional cookouts during the summer if your neighbors are patient and you treat them to some appetizers.
    3) For enthusiasts dreaming of cooking low and slow briskets for 12 hours, with the WEBER, they will have to compromise and pay more attention to temperature control due to its lightweight construction. However, with a little care, the job can be done.
    4) If you have three times the money of the WEBER and a lot of passion, I recommend the 1000 kamado (ceramic grill). But since neither the money is meant for splurging nor the available time is ever enough to justify the high cost of a kamado, WEBER is still the way to go.

    Happy cooking to everyone!

PS. For you, the enthusiast who wants to buy a WEBER but is not sure if it's worth spending so much money on a grill....guess what.....IT'S WORTH IT!!

I have it for about 6 months now and I grill/smoke meat on a balcony...
The quality is amazing and if you do long smokes for 12-24 hours, the one touch is a one-way street to keep the air vents open.

The accessories it has for the GBS are very useful for perfecting the meat, cast iron grates for smoking, pizza stones, muffin tin, etc. but they are VERY EXPENSIVE!

I found it on sale for 290 outside of Skroutz and I bought it immediately.
If you want a smoke-free solution for indoors, it's perfect, provided that your neighbors don't have you in their sights and don't sleep 3 meters away from the balcony where you have it placed.

I would also recommend briquettes, smoking wood from the same company, expensive but worth it compared to the cheap ones we have in supermarkets in Greece, if you are lucky to know what briquettes are.

You light them with a cheap heat gun, smoke-free and you're good to go, if you are comfortable with smoke, I recommend the Weber chimney starter. Excellent as well and makes perfect charcoal in 20 minutes without any chemical residue.

The only drawback I could find is the position of the thermometer.
For all techniques, it is advisable to be opposite to where it is, right above the ventilation. Of course, if your hands reach, make a hole and put in a digital dual thermometer for chamber and meat control. If you want my opinion, I did both. Temperature control is very important because think of it as an oven with the lid closed.

If you are grilling enthusiasts and will be using it frequently, prefer it.
If you want it for 2-3 grills per year, look for something more economical, like the similar model from Landmann if I remember correctly, which is around 150.

My regards and good decisions, gentlemen.

You forget everything you know about grilling with charcoal! Once you get acquainted with the product, your other grills seem primitive and even funny!
    So, happy grilling!!!

Well, this grill is the best gift you can give to someone who enjoys and has a passion for charcoal cooking.

The founder of the grill, George Stephen, in 1952, built the first closed grill himself because he wanted to cook the juiciest steaks and the most delicious kebabs for his family and friends. So, I follow in the footsteps of this fantastic man and thank him for his invention.

It has a large surface for 8 steaks or 5 kilograms of kebabs. Be careful that your charcoal is large in size because I made a mistake and put small, chopped pieces, resulting in them fitting between the gaps of the grill and falling to the bottom of the grill, causing the air passages to clog and the remaining charcoal to extinguish due to lack of oxygen!

So, here's the thing: if you have small, chopped charcoal, after igniting them either in the starter container or wherever you have a patent, put them in the two metal containers that come with the grill packaging so that you don't experience what I did. Otherwise, use large charcoal and you won't have a problem.

Grilling is so easy and "professional" with the external thermometer. You can see how long the charcoal lasts and adjust the temperature intensity by opening or closing the air passages at the bottom.

For those who haven't tried indirect grilling, I highly recommend it, especially for thick cuts of meat. To prevent them from burning, place the charcoal on one half of the grill and place the meat on the other half, but not directly above the charcoal, rather next to it. It will take longer to cook, but the meats will come out like candy with a smoky flavor! Of course, it also has many accessories that you can use to make pizzas, chicken, and whatever else you can imagine.

To all the women reading this review, save up some money and get this gift for your man (but make sure he will actually use it, otherwise it's a waste of money), and he will see you in a different light...

Grill for a lifetime and not for 2-3 years like usual.

If you want a simple grill for steaks and ribs, there is no reason to spend the money.
If you want to take your BBQ to another level, then it's worth it 100%.

It grills, cooks, makes pizzas, dishes, takes a wok, the possibilities are endless.
Very good for smoking and low & slow American-style cooking, in combination with briquettes for longer duration instead of charcoal (which gives strong fire for a relatively short time).

Strictly for people with passion and appetite for cooking.

I have changed many "gastric" type grills but none like the Weber. Its shape allows for more complex cooking since it "cooks" in addition to grilling and can also be used to smoke meats with a little practice and a good thermometer.

παιδιά ποσό εύκολο είναι με αυτήν την ψησταριά να κοντρολαρεις την θερμοκρασία? δηλαδή πρέπει να βάζεις κάρβουνα να παίζεις με τους αεραγογους κλπ

masterchr
