Zinc is an integral part of insulin, the hormone used for the treatment of diabetes, and is essential for all protein syntheses in the body. In cases of increased physical or mental demands on the body, there may be a greater need for zinc or greater loss of zinc from the body, considering that fiber-rich foods hinder the absorption of zinc from food.

One-fifth of the zinc stored in the body is concentrated in the skin. Additionally, zinc helps in tissue regeneration and participates in some of the enzymatic reactions necessary for the normal functioning of the skin's sebaceous glands. It directly affects many organic systems such as the nervous, immune, and reproductive systems. It also maintains the proper functioning of senses such as taste and smell. 

Usage: 1 tablet per day. 

This product is recommended for short-term use to cover zinc deficiency in a short period. Zinc should only be taken with the consent of a doctor. Some patients may experience mild digestive disturbances, such as nausea, when taking zinc on an empty stomach. If something similar occurs, then avoid taking zinc on an empty stomach. 

Additionally, long-term zinc intake may lead to anemia.
