Attention!!! The adapter does not work with HDMI ARC (audio receiver channel), so if you have a smart TV and want to connect it to an amplifier, unfortunately it does not work. With a test from the laptop to the TV, the adapter works NORMALLY and flawlessly. So think about the reasons for use and then proceed with the purchase.

There are different versions, identical on the outside but with differences inside. In my case, it worked even without power supply but the result was not good. As soon as I gave it power with the provided cable, the image cleared completely. So, given the extremely low price, it is highly recommended.

Although the cardboard box has a brand name, one can understand that it is a cheap construction from those sold by the kilo from China. Otherwise, it's okay.It plays directly and without extra power supply on old Sony CRT with a source being a terrestrial DVB-T2 decoder. In 1-2 seconds, it displays colored bars and then the image appears. In all resolutions of the decoder up to 1080p. The colors are a bit dull though. The sound is okay.
With a source being an old Nokia mobile with an HDMI port, it gives a normal signal.
With a source being a Sony Bluray, tested in all resolutions, the signal with the colored bars flickers and the image never appears.

The brand new but abandoned SONY 21" came to life thanks to the android TV box, which was connected on top. You will also need a USB power adapter 5 Volt 0.5 A (and above). I also tried it on a 32" old technology television and it worked perfectly again. However, when I tried it on a 14" very old technology television (it only had a scart connection and not the 3 colored ports), I tried many times and in many different ways (HDCP off, HDMI LINK off, PS4 in Safe Mode, unplugging and plugging in the cables), but it didn't work and this is probably due to the fact that the television was too old. However, I won't give up and I will try again, maybe I will succeed. Overall, the product works perfectly.
P.S. In the end, indeed, due to the age of the 14" television, I couldn't get it to work.

Αν το Nintendo 64 βγάζει RCA, τότε λογικά θα χρειαστείς το αντίστροφο, δηλαδή AV2HDMI, για να το συνδέσεις σε Smart TV που έχει υποδοχή HDMI.
