Gifted place, Pelion has it all in abundance, forests, waters, fruit-bearing trees, beautiful cobbled paths, excellent beaches, and plenty of traditional villages. The new map of the Ascent covers the entire mountainous peninsula and also Mavrovouni, a natural extension of Pelion in the north, and suggests 20 smaller and larger hikes among dozens of others depicted on the map.
