Very good ink but it has become ridiculously expensive, just like the entire 953 series. The 957xl, which was a somewhat cheaper solution for black, seems to no longer be available.

Very expensive ink, to fill your printer (hp pro 8210) with genuine ones you need almost 200 euros. I bought the original black and the other 3 almost as much as the black, imitation. I'm doing my job just fine

I bought it together with the printer to have a second one in case the first one runs out. Today, when the previous one ran out, I went to change it and the printer doesn't accept it because it says it's an older generation... It's for an HP Officejet Pro 7720. It's not the wrong model. It's exactly the same as the one I took out. From what I read, HP at some point made a firmware update to the printers and they don't accept older ink cartridges - it's 2 months older than the one I had before. So when you buy HP ink, apart from the model, you should also check the date.... 40 euros wasted. HP support didn't help me at all, they told me that the printer doesn't accept it to protect itself from old ink cartridges... whatever.

I tried some refurbished ones. Unfortunately, I regretted it. Their quality was below average and they didn't last as long as the originals. Also, the quality of the refurbished ones is much worse than the quality offered by the genuine ones. Their price may sting a little, but you have peace of mind.
