I have bought them here for about 6 months now and I use them for my Nas DS220+. They work continuously due to the recorder and the work I need them for, and they are reliable. As for the noise, the disks make a typical noise.

2 HDD in raid in NAS synology DS224+ make a lot of noise, so if it's near you, look for something quieter. For everything else, I think it's fine.

Just over a month ago, I got 2 disks for my Synology NAS, and so far it's been working like clockwork. The only downside is that it's very noisy. It doesn't bother me too much, but someone looking for a quieter system should know.

Two Synology NAS devices were installed in the living room. They are functioning properly and efficiently, but they make an INCREDIBLE noise! They are not suitable for being near. If I could, I would replace them with quieter ones.

I have 2 on my NAS (Synology 920+) and I will continue to buy the same ones as their only downside is their price. I haven't encountered any other issues so far with temperatures, errors, speed, etc. It's also important that they come with a 2-year data recovery service. I will update if anything changes.

Everything is fine and now I have 3 disks. With the third one, I had a brief, fortunately, DOA experience, but Multicopter, where I purchased it from, replaced it immediately.

Another reason to choose the PRO series of Seagate is the 5-year warranty! The disk was defective from the first day. I replaced it through the RMA process and everything is fine.

I was recommended to replace a wd black 3tb that had bad sectors (I don't have a NAS).
Very satisfied with its performance and it seems quiet to me.

It makes excessively loud noise compared to other disks that are not audible.

Out of the 6 I bought, 2 turned out to be defective - the second one, although it works properly and all the smart tests are green, it has these head hits that can be heard and everything stops or freezes - defective, ready to fail at any moment - and I have to return it.

This second one with the defective head has been driving me crazy for a month with this annoying noise as if it's parking the head every now and then, but it's not worth burning it just to return it easily...

Also, they have a bug with the write cache, making it useless for NAS, meaning you can't enable it.
