The Philips monitor is aimed at those seeking a large screen for work, gaming, or entertainment. It is ideal for professionals who require a large screen for design, software development, or data management, as well as for gamers who desire a large and curved screen for an enhanced gaming experience. The all-purpose USB-C, eye comfort features, and ergonomic stand design ensure optimal working conditions.

CrystalClear Images with UltraWide QHD 3440x1440 pixels

The Philips monitor delivers CrystalClear, UltraWide Quad HD 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution. Utilizing the high-performance panel with a multitude of high-density pixels and wide viewing angles of 178/178, it will bring your images and graphics to life. The UltraWide 21:9 aspect ratio allows for greater productivity with more space for side-by-side comparisons and the ability to view more columns in spreadsheets. Whether you need detailed information for professional CAD-CAM solutions or work with large spreadsheets, the Philips monitor offers crystal-clear images.

The VA monitor offers stunning images with a wide viewing angle

The Philips VA LED monitor uses advanced multi-domain vertical alignment technology, which offers an amazingly high contrast ratio for vivid and bright images. While it easily handles all standard office applications, it is also ideal for photos, web browsing, movies, games, and graphics-intensive applications. The optimized pixel management technology provides you with an exceptionally wide viewing angle of 178/178 degrees, resulting in clear images.

MultiView technology allows simultaneous dual connection and display

The Philips MultiView monitor with ultra-high resolution offers you many connectivity options. It allows active dual connection and viewing so you can work on multiple devices, such as a PC and notebook simultaneously, for complex multi-tasking.

Built-in KVM switch for easy source switching

With the built-in KVM MultiClient switch, you can control two separate computers with one monitor-keyboard-mouse set. A convenient button allows you to quickly switch between sources. An ideal and user-friendly choice for setups that require dual computing power or the use of a large screen to view two different computers.

Built-in USB-C Docking Station

Features an integrated USB Type-C docking station with power delivery. The slim, reversible USB-C connector allows for easy connection with a single cable. Simplify your setup by connecting all your peripherals such as the keyboard, mouse, and RJ-45 Ethernet cable to the monitor's docking station. Just connect your notebook and this monitor with a single USB-C cable to watch high-resolution video and transfer data at high speeds, while simultaneously powering and recharging your notebook.

Seamlessly smooth action with Adaptive-Sync technology

Game instability and broken frames do not suit gaming. Play with stable performance and without errors at almost any frame rate thanks to Adaptive-Sync technology and enjoy smooth and fast refresh as well as ultra-fast response time.

TUV Eye Comfort Certification for Reduced Eye Strain

The monitor complies with TUV Rheinland's eye comfort standard to avoid eye strain caused by prolonged computer use. With TUV Rheinland's eye comfort certification, Philips monitors ensure low blue light operation without flicker, zero distracting reflections, wide viewing angle with less image quality reduction from different angles, as well as ergonomic stand design for an ideal viewing experience. Maintain your eye health and boost your work productivity.

Less eye strain with Flicker-Free technology

Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED-backlit screens, some users notice a flicker on the screen, which can cause eye strain. Philips Flicker-Free technology applies a new solution for brightness regulation, reducing flicker and providing a more comfortable viewing experience.

Eye-friendly LowBlue Mode

According to studies, just like ultraviolet radiation, short-wavelength blue light emitted by LED screens can cause eye damage and affect vision over time. Developed with wellness in mind, Philips' LowBlue feature uses smart software technology to reduce harmful short-wavelength blue light.

PowerSensor reduces energy consumption by up to 70%

PowerSensor is a built-in "people sensor" that transmits and receives harmless infrared signals to determine if the user is present and automatically reduces brightness when the user steps away from their desk, reducing energy consumption costs by up to 70% and extending the monitor's lifespan.

LightSensor for perfect brightness with minimal power

The LightSensor uses an intelligent sensor to adjust the image brightness to the room's lighting conditions, so you can enjoy the perfect picture with minimal energy consumption.

Tilt, swivel, and height adjustment for an ideal viewing position

The compact ergonomic stand is user-friendly and provides the ability to adjust tilt, swivel, and height for maximum visual comfort and efficiency.

In no case am I an expert.
Also, I didn't need such a monitor, in the sense of a professional (I knew that - the same applies to many others, after all. It's not of the present).

But: ..I sit like a fool (for a month now) even if I don't have anything special to do and I enjoy the upgrade. Different feeling! I don't regret even € (458 with shipping), as long as it doesn't cause any problems.
And to justify myself: I'm involved in flight simulation (x-plane 11). I think I made the best choice. Take into account that curved monitors don't appear in photos and videos as we see them with our eyes. The curvature is perceived by our brain as "depth" and not as distortion.

    Update 2022
After 2 years of intensive use - at least 15-18 hours a day due to continuous remote work - it is proven that the screen is an invaluable tool that was absolutely worth the money (€490 in 2020). Absolute eye relief with the built-in eye filters. I have connected a MacBook and it charges through the screen, not through the laptop charger (and I have also connected hard drives, etc. to the screen - so everything now goes through the screen. The sound is very good and does not require extra speakers - at least for music and movies, not for games. It truly upgraded my work, relieved my eyes, and when I change my computer to have two screens, it will be my first choice for a second screen for a complete upgrade. Value for money!

    2020
An excellent choice for anyone interested in professional use and spends many hours on the computer. I work about 12-14 hours and have had it for a few days now. I immediately noticed a difference in my eyes - it was the main reason I chose this one because of its certifications for eye protection. The difference is truly huge compared to my previous 19-inch monitor from a decade ago, a simple screen I bought for €100 (also Philips).

Despite its 34-inch size, it not only doesn't tire the eyes, but it also feels like it embraces you. It has many settings (through the buttons on the screen - not the menu to be managed from your keyboard - a fault of the company). It has many ports to connect all the functions of the computer to the screen. It can be connected via HDMI (for screen transfer) but also USB-C to turn it into a hub, and if you connect a mouse, keyboard, and hard drives on top (not connected to the computer). It can accommodate 2 computers and split the screen (half for one and half for the other)! Great speakers, but the volume adjustment (if connected via HDMI) is done through the buttons on the screen (second fault).

Incredible viewing position. It moves up and down very comfortably. It swivels on its sturdy base and can tilt up to 5 degrees. It is impossible not to find the position you like.

The curve is excellent and it doesn't make you dizzy at all (I generally get dizzy with curved screens or curved glasses).

In my opinion, it is exclusively for work and not for gaming - there are cheaper and better options for gaming. For professional use (office work, writing, etc.), it is incredibly good - maybe even unique in some aspects. For example, I deal with many windows and texts - I can have up to 8 separate Word windows (6 is ideal in terms of word size and editing comfort) - it is that large and comfortable. I really should have bought a wide screen years ago.

It's worth considering even if it doesn't have as good marketing as LG screens, which are easily found in stores. For now, it lives up to the saying "you get what you pay for." And if it lasts... it's a treasure!

    Pros:
    1. Build quality/viewing/colors/sound quality
    2. Certifications for eye protection from blue light, eye strain (TUV and others)/among the few worldwide
    3. Comfortable positions/everyone will find the right position for them
    4. Integrated hub
    5. Doesn't cause dizziness, doesn't tire the eyes

    Cons:
    1. High price (but logically, if it lasts as long as I hope, it will be worth it)
    2. Menu with buttons
    3. Category B in consumption (strange for a company like PHILIPS that pays attention to its environmental footprint)

I have it for about 3 weeks.
    I wanted the following:
    1) A large UltraWide screen for office work. To have more than 2 windows open, as if I'm working with 2 screens.
    2) To be curved since at 34" it's worth it and with the highest possible resolution (always in relation to the price). 3440x1440 is very good.
    3) To have USB-C which can also charge the laptop.
What it had extra that I liked:
    1) You can have a Laptop connected and for example a Desktop, like I do. The Laptop with USB-C and the Desktop with Displayport. Through the KVM, you can switch between them. It also has a function to see both simultaneously on half of the screen.
    2) I have a Keyboard, a Mouse, and an Ethernet (Internet!) connected to the screen, and I can use them through the screen either for the Laptop or for the Desktop, as if I have a Docking Station.
As for colors, response times, calibrations, and such things, I have no idea... It doesn't have to be the best anyway from what I've seen... But I don't feel it from those... Even though I rarely play games and it seems fine to me... But I didn't buy it for that anyway...
Overall, I'm very satisfied with what I wanted. Always in relation to the price (€430)

The screen is quite good. Its features are mainly found in more expensive models (size, resolution, curved, ultrawide, kvm, etc.). I am very satisfied with its purchase. I use it professionally and it has "solved" my hands.
