I have had it for three months, the distance between the router and the extender is four meters, the speed of the extender is very low, it barely reaches 10 Mbps, while the router provides a speed of 100 Mbps. Every 10 minutes or half an hour, the signal is lost. The extender is not worth it. I will not buy it again and I do not recommend it to anyone
I have had it for about 6 months. At first, it was working very well with a relatively good range. It had some interruptions, but the signal would quickly come back. The TV played everything without any glitches. In the last few days, it constantly has a red light and it is very difficult to connect to the internet! It doesn't load movies or even videos on Facebook on my phone. I bought it for more than 20 euros and it really isn't worth it to only work well for a few months. The 3 stars are only for the first few months when it worked very well and the connection didn't give me any trouble. I definitely wouldn't buy it again.

I have them in a network with 1+2 repeaters, which is a bit stretched so I don't have high expectations from the last two links in the chain. The first one, however, transmits satisfactorily, and the two second ones generally respond. The setup is easy and understandable. Overall, I am satisfied.
Easy synchronization, good range, the tp-link application recognizes it and you can configure it from there, overall it does everything it says
If you are a gamer, DO NOT BUY IT. For any other use, you can purchase it. This specific model presents a HUGE problem when receiving signals from 5GHz wifi. It experiences significant lag, resulting in high ping and latency in games. Where you have a speed of 98 Mbps, it drops to 5 and then back to 98, for example. This is something you cannot detect if you are watching Netflix because it has already downloaded the content. Now, if you already have it and don't want to buy another one or cannot get another one at the moment, the solution I found and have had no issues with since that day is to sacrifice some speed. I set it to connect to the 2.4GHz and since then I have no problems. (Supposedly, I bought it to replace the previous repeater that couldn't connect to 5GHz and ended up in a dead end). STAY AWAY from it if you want a stable speed from 5GHz. YES to anyone looking for a repeater with a large range.
Purchased for Wi-Fi extension on the ground floor of a two-story house, in conjunction with a TP-Link Archer MR600 V2 4G+ router. Before setting this up, I had no signal at all on the ground floor. Its configuration is incredibly easy through the tether app on your mobile phone, you plug it into the socket, add the device to the app, and you're ready in 2-3 minutes. Although the signal it receives from the router is not the strongest, it does its job decently, and with a second device closer to the router, I believe it would perform even better. I should note that this product is "Mesh", meaning it is not just a Wi-Fi extender, it does not create its own network like many other similar products, and it works as a chain, so in the future, if it doesn't cover the entire house, you can easily get another identical device and place it between the router and the furthest device. An excellent product at an affordable price from TP-Link.
Having it for about 6 months now, I have to add the following:
The latency constantly fluctuates.
During use, one notices that after a few hours, the speed starts to drop, packets are "lost," and the latency increases. A restart is needed to improve the situation... until the problems start again, of course. An affordable product with corresponding performance. A bad purchase that I would not repeat.
It works, but it often disconnects. For example, I was trying for an hour to regain signal, going in and out, trying different things, etc. So, it's good but not very stable, like ALL the extenders in my life. Other than that, we are advanced, and this specific one is like all the others. I would like it at half the price, around 10, considering what it does
I bought this particular product for one reason only. I wasn't so concerned about the Wi-Fi range, etc. I wanted to connect Ethernet to it and have a stable ping. Unfortunately, this is not possible, even though I have connected it to a socket with satisfactory range from the router (as the application tells me), but unfortunately, the ping is terrible.
I have had it for a week and I use it constantly since the signal of the router does not reach the bedrooms of the house.
Summary: For the 20€ that I bought it, I am relatively satisfied. It does not disconnect and the connection with the router through the TP-Link application (Tether) is quite easy. ⚠️ My impressions in the first few days follow. Scroll down for the problems that arise over time. ⚠️
In detail:
Positives:
- Very easy and fast installation as mentioned before. Both bands work without interruptions.
- The speeds, at least for me, are the same as the router (50mbps). It loses a bit in upload (from the 4-5 that the router gives, I get 2-3), but the only upload I do is a photo in an Instagram Messenger conversation, so I'm not really concerned.
- It is smaller than I expected, to tell the truth. I had a bigger one before and I got used to it. For others, the size may seem large, but it doesn't bother me.
- In case it needs to be unplugged and reconnected, the connection is made in less than a minute. Sometimes not all the lights turn on immediately, but it still provides internet, so we're fine.
- As is natural for all repeaters/extenders, there is a delay, a latency in the transfer of packets/data to the router and in turn to the ISP. This results in frequent "lag spikes" (sudden increases in ping) when the user is doing something in real-time, such as playing an online game. These lag spikes are minimal on the 5G band. With the previous repeater I had, which was only 2.4G, I couldn't play a single match of any game without getting disconnected. Thanks to the reconnects, I can now go through an entire match of League of Legends without experiencing any lag spikes.
Negatives:
- It is simply unacceptable for downloading large files. Okay, up to a point and considering the price, it is understandable, but for every 1.5-2GB file, it stops downloading at maximum speed (for example, if it is downloading at 5MBps, it drops to 0.1MBps or something similar for a few seconds). It resumes on its own after a while. This is due to the "capacity" it has to send and receive data packets during file downloads. If you want to learn more about this, search for how it works, it's not too difficult. Or wait for your first year of high school computer science class ;) I have seen better repeaters in this area, but oh well... I'll compromise.
Conclusion: As I said in the summary, it's a good little device, but if you plan on downloading a lot of large files, it's better to move your device closer to your router or get a long Ethernet cable.
⚠️I am coming back after a few days to edit the review and cancel almost everything I said above. The speed drops from 50 to 20-30 sometimes and to 5-6 without any other device connected except for the PC and the modem. I will try everything I can and I will come back. However, if you want to get it for gaming, USE AN ETHERNET CABLE.
- And the disappointment continues. I am starting to notice a significant decrease in speed and an increase in latency for some reason with the router. I am forced to disconnect the repeater every time I want to do something in real-time on the main router (games, video calls, etc.). I truly regret the purchase I made.
Router gave 5G 150mbps 180mbps (down/up), the extender, located less than 5 meters away, gave 5G 60mbps 110mbps (down/up).
I will try to return it...

I have 200 at home and this one barely reaches 20mbps. But compared to other comfast and xiaomi products I had, this one performs better than all of them.
I have had it since 2016, until 2020, when the PC was next to the router, I used it as a range extender and since the beginning of 2021, when the PC is far away from the router, exclusively for the PC on the UPS so that the PC does not lose network immediately as soon as the power outage occurs. It is literally immortal, and because it is close to a balcony door, its range outside the house is almost 30 meters.
Excellent product. No comparison with others I have used so far (Xiaomi Pro 300M WiFi Extender and TP-LINK TL-WA860RE v5). Perfect compatibility with the dual band Xiaomi Mi Router 4A. Strong signal on both bands, stable operation (it hasn't dropped in the week that I have been using it), easy installation with the app, firmware updates through the app instead of downloading zip files from the website. And a very good, reasonable price. Beautiful design (subjective). Finally, a good repeater!
I ordered it at a Black Friday price from a well-known chain (19.90 euros instead of 29.90).
I needed it to connect the Eon smart box through the Ethernet port.
The connection to the router via the WPS button was done in seconds.
The range is excellent and the connection speed on the 5GHz frequency is the same as the router (no loss).
Its dimensions are relatively small (it easily fits in a power strip with a bulky charger).
One of my many unsatisfactory choices.

I replaced one that I had bought and noticed the following: at 2.4 GHz, the light often turns red, which means it lost connection, something that also happened with my old device. However, it doesn't happen at 5 GHz, so I connect my devices there. The other thing I noticed is that it doesn't have a long range compared to the Chinese one I had, but it's not a problem because I'm okay with it. It covers the distance I want. In conclusion, I achieved what I wanted, which is to not have any disconnections, so +1 from me

I have another TP-Link repeater (different model) as well. It works flawlessly with satisfactory range. I have the router in the living room and I have placed it in the hallway. My internet speed is 100mbps and I get 100 in the bedroom. One of the major positives is that it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies.
Very easy installation via laptop. Small improvement in ping and speed and obviously in wifi signal
The installation of it is very easy. The range of it for the money is great. Very satisfied.
It's with its days, it can't. Very easy initial installation through the tether application. I don't use it constantly, only when I want to "bring" internet to the backyard of the house one floor below. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, what can I say. Overall, it's good.
I am updating my review (12/7/21), I disabled the 5GHz band and everything is satisfactory!
In the beginning, it worked well, but after 1 month, the devices started to not be able to connect and I had a low internet connection.
As someone unfamiliar with technology, I recommend to others who are also unfamiliar to connect via computer. My first attempt at connecting was through the mobile application and I must have done something wrong because nothing was connecting even though the network was showing. Through the computer, the options were clearer and the connection was immediate and correct.
I have gone through 3 RE 200 (2 v2 and 1 v4) from my hands. None, absolutely none, has passed smoothly 1 week of continuous use. They will always need a reboot during the week, maybe even twice. But still, it does not guarantee stable operation. It catches signal everywhere and well, but in combination with the VR400, it still had issues, so what's the point of having range if you don't have stability. I don't know what's going on with tp-link, even though it has good hardware, its software is garbage. They don't receive updates, so it's difficult to justify their cost. I have changed routers, I have bought a USB antenna for 802.11ac and I just relaxed.
Extremely easy installation, no need for an app or to go into pages or settings, with the automatic wps connection button everything was done automatically (it was required twice in order to install both the regular and the 5Ghz connection). Signal booster, which means that whatever it receives it reproduces at speeds with negligible losses. I highly recommend it.
A wall cannot cut 2 units in 5G and 1 unit in 4G, while my neighbor's WiFi, passing through 4 walls and a greater distance, comes stronger and amazes me! What's the point of having a 5G signal in an empty band when it loses 1 unit every 3 steps? It's like running alone and finishing second. At least it gained 1 unit because it has good sensitivity and can catch weak signals, otherwise it would have gotten 1 unit. I got it for nothing, the cheap Xiaomi performs better in coverage.

Ναι, υπάρχει αντίχτοιχη επιλογή στο application με το οποίο το ρυθμίζεις (εάν θες να λειτουργεί ως access point μέσω ethernet ή ως wifi-extender).
Καλημερα, θα ηθελα να ρωτησω ποση εμβελεια εχει ? Στην περιπτωση μου θελω να δωσω ιντερνετ απο το μαγαζι μου πανω στο σπιτι μου που βρισκεται στον 2ο οροφο της ιδιας πολυκατοικιας. Ενημερωτικα με το κινητο και λαπτοπ απο το σπιτι πιανω 2-3 γραμμες wifi απο του μαγαζιου το router. Ευχαριστω εκ των προτερων.
