Owner of an Android phone for the past 8 years, I decided to switch to an iPhone for the first time since I noticed that my iPad maintained its performance over time without lagging. In contrast, the Android phones in the 150-200 euro range start lagging after some time.
Phone setup:
When I first opened it, it asked me if I wanted to automatically transfer all my Apple account settings from my iPad. I said OK and it even took the password of my home wifi! The communication between the iPhone and iPad was automatic via Bluetooth. Then, it asked if I wanted to transfer everything from my Android phone. The prerequisite was to have "Move to iOS" on Android. I did it and had a fully set up phone automatically with all the contacts from my Google account and almost all the apps I had in the Play Store!
Car: Before, I had Android Auto and I was afraid that the Apple equivalent, CarPlay, wouldn't have Google Maps. It actually supports Google Maps and asks if you want it to be synced with your Google account. So, it's all good. If you set up CarPlay, make sure to have Siri enabled on your phone. For those who don't know, Android Auto/CarPlay transfers the functionality of the phone to the car screen.
Photos: Although I considered the phone a waste of money for photos, over time I realized that it's more likely to have a phone with us than a camera to capture moments. The photos are crystal clear! To see a comparison, you can go to GSM Arena and use the "compare photo" feature to compare 4-5 test photos with other phones. Try comparing it with Android phones in the 700 euro range...
Battery: Generally, I use the phone to make calls/send messages on Skype/Messenger when I'm not at the office, or to answer calls. From what I've seen, it consumes about 35% of the battery in 24 hours. The fact that it has a 1821mAh battery capacity doesn't mean much, what matters is how a phone consumes it. If you search in reviews, it has an endurance rating (a proper metric) on average. Keep in mind that it's a 4.7-inch phone, it can't fit a larger battery like other phones with 5.5, 6, and 6.5-inch screens.
If you take care of it, I believe it can easily last for 4 or even 5 years without lagging. The processor from Apple and the software from the same company (iOS) means that everything is verified and optimized to the fullest. Congratulations to those who bought it or will buy it.
I am an iPhone 12 Pro Max user, but I also use the SE2020 and I can confidently say that it is the best value for money. Very fast, nice screen, the camera has minimal differences compared to the 12 Pro Max. I imagine the new SE that will be released soon will be even better, and any future SE models will be worth it (if they remain at these low prices). The round button in the middle is not a real button, but it functions like one in terms of feel. For someone who had the old SE2016 for many years like me, it is the perfect transition. I don't think anyone should think twice about it, you won't find anything better for this price. (Yes, I have been an iPhone enthusiast for years now), but objectively speaking, with 400€ you won't find anything better. The only negative is that they could have included a larger battery. With heavy usage, it lasts for a day.
Update: And yes, it is waterproof. It fell into the toilet bowl and I took it out. Everything is fine, nothing happened!
Update one year later: The battery health has reached 89% after a year of regular use and careful charging. I read that many people generally have this problem. The battery keeps draining and you definitely need to charge it once, if not twice, a day.
For a new product at the price I see, it is not worth it at all due to its small battery, as everyone has written.
The front and rear cameras are disappointing in low light.
Everything else is at the speed of an iPhone with iOS.
A big advantage is the updates it receives, as it is a 2020 model, and it now has a price around $100 as a used one
Owner for two years, I have to say that I loved it much more than my 13-inch one. Same photo quality, same speed. The battery of the SE is noticeably smaller though. It is hand-sized so you can have it everywhere without being too bothered. In the year 2024, they say there will be big screens, etc., but I recommend it with my eyes closed.
For a second device, I use it for a third [pro max] due to portability but it doesn't hold battery
After 1 year of use, it hardly ever freezes, good photos, average videos, mediocre for calls, and the battery is very poor. It needs to be charged 2-3 times a day with moderate use, going from 100% to 10% in 3 hours with regular use. If you don't have a problem with the battery, then it's a good choice. Personally, I bought the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and I'm satisfied
I have it for over a year and a half. Overall, I am very satisfied, it is a good budget phone from Apple. However, there are two major negatives: the sound of the videos and the battery. The sound in the videos it takes is very poor (although the resolution is very good). Overall, the sound is good. The battery (1800mAh if I'm not mistaken) doesn't bother me personally (despite the heavy usage I give it), but I believe it would bother someone else (although, of course, we are talking about an iPhone). The mobile phone has some very good features such as excellent build quality with aluminum and Gorilla Glass 5, a very good screen with 100% DCI-P3 and True Tone, great sound and microphone, and a good camera for well-lit shots. Additionally, the processor is powerful and the phone performs exceptionally well!
There are 3 negatives, the first being that the camera is not good at all in low-light situations, the second is that the screen brightness is unacceptably poor under sunlight, and the third, which is the most important, is that the battery life is terrible.

Guys, the mobile phone in terms of money is simply better than any other phone on the market and I will tell you why. Firstly, if someone wants a smaller phone and is tired of holding larger ones with 6+ inches, they should seriously consider it as an option. For those who want their first iPhone and don't want to go for something used that might cost them more, see it as a choice because you simply get the cheapest iPhone with the processor of the more expensive one. Finally, for the general conclusion, if you are an Android user with a phone that costs 400-500 euros, the only thing you might want from Android is perhaps a larger screen. Perfect photos, unbeatable videos for mobile phones, even with a 1000 euro price tag, the best processor in a phone of this generation, never lags, it has the home button that I was missing. The size of the screen is the only 'compromise', but not its quality, everything else is perfect in terms of features and it won't disappoint you.
I got the mobile phone two and a half months ago and I love it. It runs smoothly, sounds incredibly loud (I have it at half or even lower volume when watching videos), and overall I haven't encountered any issues with it. The only problem is that the battery life is very short if you use it regularly.

iOS 16 and the phone seems to struggle quite a bit. Due to work, the battery needs 4 charges per day. I have reached a point where I constantly have it connected in the car, otherwise, the battery will drop by 35% within half an hour only from using the GPS. It freezes and overheats in many games.
I have it for 1+ year. Everything is pretty good but the battery is quite bad, it has dropped to 88% and I have to charge it twice a day. No comparison with android in terms of price and other things. It's not comparable to android, but in terms of price and battery, it's not worth the money. It's still not worth getting with 64gb because it's too little for an iPhone, and even when I deleted almost all the photos, it still showed ownership in iCloud for space and they are not being saved. That's why 3 stars
I bought it in almost excellent second-hand condition about 7 months ago. Based on my own needs, I wanted an iPhone that is:
- affordable for my work
- recent (released after 2020)
- convenient to hold
- tested software without any issues that will receive updates for another 3-4 years
- capable of having a second e-sim
- cost-effective for repairs if needed
- the battery lasts a full work day, which is satisfactory for me
- wireless charging
- satisfactory photos and excellent videos

I have come from the first iPhone SE of 2016, which was fantastic and I miss it, this phone is designed for old people and generally for people who came from Nokia 3310, the battery in my old phone which I changed myself with a greencell battery, very satisfied by the way, it was no better than this particular phone, I am a heavy user to say the least, but the screen is uncomfortable and has terrible brightness which without reason with auto brightness and low battery power turned off goes up and down depending on its mood and at 100% with charger generally a phone with an amazing camera, very good speakers I would say terrible screen and build quality of a phone that feels like it's from 2017 stay away!

It is very fast, runs all games fine (but it is too small for some). The camera is good (unless you zoom too much) and it charges quickly! I have almost no issues except: the battery only lasts for 4-6 hours, it is better to get the 11/Xs.
If you like small screens, it's worth it!
I have been using this mobile phone as my primary device for about half a year, and several hours on social media and games daily. While initially the battery was quite satisfactory, after 4-5 months the battery health started to decrease significantly and it needed a second charge during the day when I used it for games. Then, I didn't have much time to engage in games, etc., and I noticed that the phone's battery would quickly drain again when I wasn't using it. For its price, it is worth it as everything else, resolution, software, camera, quality, is all fine. Perhaps, apart from the battery, I would change the size of the phone to slightly larger. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has the comfort to add an additional 150-200€ and get the iPhone 11 and the above models, as the battery becomes poor after a while and becomes a real inconvenience!
It is really an amazing mobile phone. It is very fast and almost all games run at 60fps for fun. The camera, although it is just one, takes incredible photos. Regarding the battery, it needs to be charged every day. However, even though the battery appears small in the specifications, the iPhone utilizes it in such a way that it does not get consumed in a short period of time.
I got it a month after it was released in Greece. 570€/128GB. It is small, fast, has a good camera (no night mode), average speaker sound, and its battery doesn't last long. I use it for Instagram, Facebook, photos, calls, and occasionally a game or two.
I have it for 10 months, the battery health is at 93% because I take care of it, but overall it's very bad, it lasts about 10 hours with moderate use.
From the beginning, I had a problem with connecting to wifi, while with my 5s I never had an issue. The photos are good, the quality of the videos is terrible. Overall, it's fast and doesn't lag. For someone who doesn't use their phone much, it's fine. But I think it's not worth its money, I definitely regret buying it and I want to change it quickly.
I had this particular mobile phone for a year and from the very beginning, I had serious signal issues. When you can't use it as a regular mobile phone, everything else is pointless. Despite assurances from the mobile provider that there was no network coverage problem, Apple's support constantly tried to prove that there was no issue, claiming with diagnostic tests that it passed 100% of the GSM and LTE tests and that all call failures were due to the provider, while with my old device, a Galaxy S7 Edge, there was no problem at all!
If you get involved with Apple's support, it will be difficult to find justice. Don't let yourself end up with a faulty device because otherwise, you will regret the money you spent.
Unacceptable even though it's an iPhone, I've had it for 2 years and now it only holds a charge for 1.30 hours. I recommend any other device for this price unless you want to carry a Power Bank everywhere like me. Also, the screen is tiny for 2022. Stay away, it's not worth the money for any reason.

500 is not worth it, at 400 it was fine. GOOD camera, stereo speaker, decent resolution due to the small screen. The battery (now, after a year, it's at 85%) is... meh. Don't buy it at this price, you can find much better mobile phones nowadays for the same money. That's it.
