  Nice umbrella, very good shade. It had a piece of paper stuck to a seam and was faded on the outside in a couple of spots. Good construction. To withstand and not break, at the point where it breaks, I removed the plastic nail from the lower pole and pass it all the way up to cover the mentioned spot. Together with a 32mm pole, it becomes quite sturdy.

  First of all, to help those who are confused with the pole umbrella so they don't have to run for returns like I did, let me say the following.

  All the Maui F2.20m from the 1560 series (28/32mm) and the 1947 Black Out (listed as 29/32mm) fit perfectly with the code 10104 (Golden Fleece), 26-28mm.

  Regarding the umbrellas, one of our groups had the 1560 and we had the 1947 Black Out.

  The differences were that theirs had a tilt mechanism while ours did not. On paper, the 1560 had 5mm ribs and 28/32mm shafts while the 1947 had 6mm and 29/32mm respectively, something that was not noticeable to the eye.

  Also, ours had an extra coating (Black Out) on the inside, which gave most a slightly better feeling of coolness compared to the 1560.

  There are positions on 4 ribs, like little rings to tie strings with pegs for greater safety and stability.

  Both with a pole umbrella and strings with pegs were completely motionless, even on a day with normal wind.

  Personally, I would stick with my choice, the 1947 due to the extra Black Out coating, but also because I don't want a tilt mechanism as I prefer the pole of the umbrella to be one piece.

  The umbrella provides very good shade, and its size (2.2m) is fantastic for 2 people.

  Before I bought it, I had the classic smaller Maui (1.9m) which lasted for 7 years, it didn't break at all. At some point, it got cut and I changed a wire on the ribs, but then the tilting mechanism broke and couldn't be repaired, so I threw it away and switched to this one.

  Unfortunately, this one didn't even last 2 seasons, as on a day with little wind, a sudden gust broke it and it snapped in half at the tilting point. The wind caught it and threw it far away on the beach. Besides that, by pure luck, no one got tangled in it.

  Now I ordered and received the blue Maui, which is 10 euros more expensive, with a one-piece pole without a tilting mechanism since it seems that the tilting is their weak point.

  Unacceptable and dangerous for an umbrella to break in half and fly into the crowd, the company should compensate and refund the purchase.

  I really wouldn't recommend it, but for those who already have it, I would always advise to tie it with a string regardless of whether it's windy or not.

  In the first use, with the first gust of wind, one of the spokes turned and broke. I replaced it under warranty.
  In the next use, every gust of wind moves the umbrella away and I have to search for a rock every half hour to hit it and bring it back. The umbrella doesn't even close if you don't hit it to make it return. Over time (I've had it for a year), the fastening and the umbrella itself got damaged and it no longer stands upright without a makeshift fix (in other words, you have to be a bit of a handyman, otherwise it won't last a month).
  These things happened since last summer, but I wanted to fully exhaust a product before commenting on it.
  It's impressive that the umbrella has positive reviews. Additionally, I have patched the fabric in three places. It would have been better to buy a cheap one and throw it away every September.
