The Migomat 230A welding machine allows welding with MIG/MAG or FCAW gas-shielded flux-cored wire (after polarity change), welding with MMA electrode, as well as TIG Lift method (requires the purchase of an additional TIG Lift welding handle).

The electronic components of the welding machine are based on IGBT transistors, which combine the advantages of 2 types of transistors, the ease of control of field-effect transistors and the high breakdown voltage, as well as the fast switching speed of bipolar transistors.

The adjustment of welding parameters is infinitely variable (smooth), the maximum welding current depends on the thickness of the wire/electrode used, the welding voltage, as well as the wire feed speed in the case of the MIG/MAG/FCAW method. The 2-roller feeder operates with 0.6/0.8/1.0 mm wire.

The high performance of the welding machine allows welding with 230A (for MIG/MAG/FCAW) and 180A for (TIG/MMA) at a duty cycle of 60%. The thermal switch will deactivate the welding machine in case of exceeding the allowed duty cycle for a given welding current, thus preventing overheating.
