Description

Good things come to those who wait, but who has time for that? The Vintage ICON Series replicates the beautiful, worn look and feel of a guitar that has paid its dues, without investing a lifetime's worth of rehearsals, performances, and travels.

The Vintage V6 Icon electric guitar is primarily aimed at musicians who desire a guitar with a vintage look and the classic sound of a Stratocaster.

It is suitable for professional musicians, as well as beginners seeking an affordable option with quality sound and style.

SSS Alnico V Pickup Configuration (3x single coils)

In this configuration, there are three pickups, one opposite the other, and they are positioned at the neck, center, and bridge of the guitar. The combination of the three pickups provides a rich and diverse palette of sounds, with the ability to choose according to the respective music and playing style.

Equipped with passive pickups, which do not require external power to operate. Specifically, passive pickups work using magnetism and produce a signal that is inversely proportional to the movement of the strings.

Classic Stratocaster Body Shape

The Stratocaster body shape features a double-cutaway design for access to the highest frets and an extended "horn" on the upper side that offers perfect balance during standing play.

With a wide range of supporters, including Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, David Gilmour, and Jeff Beck, it is clear that the ST Style shape can handle virtually any musical style.

Neck construction from Maple wood

The Maple wood used in the neck is an important element for the guitar's acoustics, as it produces a bright and precise tone resulting from the wood's hardness.

Body construction from Poplar wood

The Poplar wood used in the guitar's body offers a balanced sound with an emphasis on the mid and low frequencies, performing well even in more intense playing.

Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok tuners.

Simple and effective locking for increased tuning stability. The staggered string heights provide the correct string angle for smooth vibrato action and proper playing tension.

Excellent guitar overall, and not just as a value for money, with very nice factory relic work.

The hardware does what it promises:
The tuners actually lock the strings correctly, the tremolo actually works properly, and in combination with the Tusq nut, the guitar does not lose tuning on vibrato.

The guitar has zero fret buzz, even when I lowered the strings low.
Note that the edges of the fretboard are rolled, and the frets are cut, placed, and filed correctly, resulting in nothing protruding and making it very comfortable and easy to play.

The neck is almost the same as the classic Fender modern C profile, being 0.2mm thicker at the 1st fret and 0.5mm thicker at the 12th fret, resulting in the difference not being noticeable.

    Neck measurements:
    Width at the nut: 42mm
Width at the 22nd fret: 57.2mm
Thickness at the 1st fret: 21mm
Thickness at the 12th fret: 22.5mm

The pickups are AlNiCo 5 and have a 100% 60s sound. They are clean - clear and have nothing to envy from more expensive ones (obviously they are superior to Fender Mexico, which can be compared due to price).

The color is not intense, but rather matte, which blends perfectly with the reliced character of the guitar.
The fretboard, although rosewood, is quite dark, strongly resembling ebony.

Having changed many guitars from different decades and manufacturers, and having a Fender USA Standard stratocaster from '89 at my disposal, I can say that the Vintage v6 is at the same level in terms of comfort and playability, but it is superior in terms of stability and hardware (and here I go out on the balcony to wait for the strings of the enraged Fender enthusiasts).
