I had the corresponding 5-port model (GS105) for >10 years. The only times I noticed its existence were when I was moving and had to disconnect it to take it with me. Those were also the only times I unplugged it. Although it is at home and doesn't have much hard work to test, I am very satisfied with the 105 and I expect the same from the 108, whose quality seems equally good. So far, I have no complaints, although it has only been a month.

Perhaps the best budget unmanaged switch that offers a plethora of connections, high build quality (quite heavy for its size), stable operation with the advertised speeds, and lifetime warranty. Highly recommended
