I bought this specific hairdryer after 1-2 classic ones from the market that I had, and I decided to trust Xiaomi once again, which once again did not disappoint me.
Firstly) The hairdryer is extremely lightweight and comfortable in the hand without causing fatigue.
Secondly) Its temperatures are finally "Normal," with a gentle first setting that feels like a warm breeze, suitable for warmer seasons or styling while drying. And the second setting is powerful, releasing hot air with force for quick drying without the risk of setting yourself on fire, unlike "classic type" hairdryers.
Thirdly) Ion technology for hair "freezing" and automatic temperature control prevent overheating and damaging your hair.
Fourthly) The overall construction is incredibly beautiful and high-quality, evident from the moment you touch it.
As for the people who claim that it doesn't "dry" properly, I really wonder... I have a medium haircut with slightly shorter sides, and the second setting is more than enough to get the job done. However, if you want even more power, go for the Xiaomi I5 with 1800W. Anything more than that, I consider it excessive... just my humble opinion.

Let's start with the positives. It is quite lightweight, so it doesn't tire your hand when you use it. Also, the attachment it has doesn't overheat, so you can remove it without getting burned like plastic ones do. It also has a very nice appearance and different lights depending on the setting. All these are good extra things, but they are definitely not the main reason why someone buys a hairdryer. You want it to dry your hair and help with styling! Well, this does neither of the two! It is not powerful enough, resulting in it taking a long time to dry your hair. It also only has one nozzle that concentrates the air and it is very open, resulting in the air coming out more diffusely and taking even longer to dry your hair! Not to mention that if you want a quick straightening or curling, it doesn't work for the same reason. Lastly, despite its size and the fact that it is not very powerful, it makes A LOT of noise... Overall, if you have thick, curly, or long hair, with 10€ at the supermarket, you get the same quality, just heavier. Only if you travel a lot and have short or thin hair, I would say to get it. We bought the hairdryer to dry the baby after changing diapers. It is small, lightweight, powerful in the second setting. The settings it has are cold, hot, and alternating cold/hot, the third mode is supposed to protect the scalp. Now the positive thing it has that we didn't expect is that in the cold setting, the air is not completely cold but it emits a warm breeze that doesn't make the child cold, making it ideal for drying in the winter.

Did you find this review helpful?New generation hairdryer. On foreign websites, they advertise it as a travel accessory. I would say that it works just fine for everyday use. Much lighter than the classic hairdryers, perfect for traveling.
The temperature is finally not burning your scalp. It's just right. Its "cool" is not just air, it feels like a light warm breeze. The automatic temperature adjustment switches from cold to hot at regular intervals. It doesn't maintain an intermediate temperature.
The casing is made of aluminum, with all that implies. Lightweight and durable, but at the same time, it may scratch more easily than plastic and can leave dents if dropped.
In terms of power, it's quite good without causing a disturbance in the house like conventional hairdryers.
Regarding the ionizer it has, I can't say that I've noticed a significant difference. They definitely don't frizz as much as before, but it may also have to do with the temperature not overheating the hair like conventional ones.
The only negative thing I could say is that I can't find any other magnetic attachments. I'm not sure if it would work for straightening because the nozzle is relatively more open compared to conventional ones, resulting in more air diffusion. Also, I haven't found a nozzle for curls anywhere.
