Virtual Reality
Virtual reality offers some of the most immersive experiences on a gaming PC. But getting the right VR is challenging. With actual screen resolutions at 4K and increasing, minimum refresh rates of 90 Hz, and high latency tolerances, VR is one of the most demanding PC applications in the world and requires the most powerful GPUs in the world.
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX GPUs give you the performance you need to power top titles on the latest VR units. Additionally, they feature technology to crank up the settings for truly impressive, immersive gameplay.
Windforce Cooling System
The Windforce cooling system features three 110mm fans with unique blades, alternate spinning, 11 composite copper heat pipes, a large vapor chamber that directly touches the GPU, active 3D fans, and screen cooling, which together provide high heat dissipation performance.
Reverse Rotation
Reduce the turbulence of adjacent fans and increase the air flow pressure.
3D Active Fan
The active 3D fan provides semi-passive cooling and the fans remain off when the GPU is in a low-load or low-power game.
Unique Blade Fan
The airflow is dispersed by the triangular edge of the fan and is smoothly guided through the 3D curved stripe on the fan surface.
Large Vapor Chamber & Heat Pipe
The large vapor chamber comes into direct contact with the GPU, combined with the composite heat pipes, which quickly transfer the heat from the GPU and VRAM to the heatsink.
The extended heatsink allows air to pass through, providing better heat dissipation.
RGB Fusion
With 16.7 million customizable color options and multiple lighting effects, you can choose any lighting effect or synchronize with other devices in the Gigabyte Control Center.
Metal backplate
The metal backplate not only provides an aesthetic shape but also reinforces the structure of the graphics card to offer complete protection.
Dual BIOS
The default factory setting is OC mode, which provides users with the best performance. However, switching to silent mode will allow you to enjoy a quieter experience.
Power Indicator
When any power supply anomaly occurs, the indicator will alert players with a flashing light.
The new anti-sag bracket is customized for each graphics card. It provides optimized reinforcement and better overall visual appearance.
The Gigabyte Control Center (GCC) is a unified software for all supported Gigabyte products. It provides an intuitive interface that allows users to adjust clock speed, voltage, fan mode, and power target in real-time.

Excellent, high-quality implementation from Gigabyte, which personally as a company has never disappointed me.
The card is huge in size. It is good to have a case with at least 250mm width, otherwise the 12VHPWR adapter will touch the side panel of your case, which is something you should avoid considering that the connector is relatively sensitive. The size is one of its "negatives" but it also contributes to one of its positives. How quiet and "cool" it is, as it shares the same cooler as the 4090. In-game (in Spider-Man Remastered, Cyberpunk 2077, Modern Warfare 2), I haven't seen it go above 63-64 degrees, and that's momentarily, even in a case with poor airflow (Define S2 Vision). It usually stays below 60c. Monitoring is done with MSI Afterburner and RTSS.
Its performance is expected for an 80-tier card. In Battlefield 2042, at 1440p resolution, all Ultra settings ~160-170fps, etc. In Cyberpunk 2077, at 1440p resolution, max settings with Path Tracing (Ray Tracing Overdrive), Frame Generation, DLSS Quality, and Ray Reconstruction, the FPS range from 100-120. All this while the card sounds minimal and remains at 60-62 degrees. The maximum power consumption without changing anything is about 320 watts. What impressed me the most, and what I would like to focus on mainly, is the Frame Generation that is only found in the 40 series cards from Nvidia (unfortunately). For those who don't know, essentially Frame Gen uses AI to add "fake" frames between your real frames. This results in, for example, in Spider-Man Miles Morales, at 1440p resolution and with all settings on Ultra + Ray Tracing Very High, without Frame Gen I get around 90-110 fps, and with Frame Gen enabled, I get 120-140 fps, with minimal impact on input lag (that's why it is recommended to use it if you already have relatively high framerates, especially in single-player games). It is impressive and personally, I don't notice any difference in image quality, but I enjoy higher framerates. It also makes Cyberpunk with Path Tracing playable in combination with DLSS because native 1440p fps is laughable.
The biggest negative is, of course, its price. This card should have been priced at 800-900€, and the 4090 should be the halo-tier product at that price range.
Unfortunately, we have to work with the given circumstances.
Personally, I changed the power supply and got an ATX 3.0 that comes with a native 12VHPWR cable, as the "octopus" they provide as an adapter with the card is bulky and ugly. However, CAUTION: Do not use adapters, extensions, or cables other than the genuine adapter that comes with the card. A large percentage of third-party accessories like these have issues and can melt, and there is a possibility that the warranty won't cover it. If you don't like the adapter, prefer only a direct PCI-e to 12VHPWR cable specifically for the power supply from the manufacturer, or even better, an ATX 3.0 power supply.
Awesome! It's like I upgraded the whole system. It's paired with the 9900k and it just breezes through everything, without any temperature or noise issues, it's all smooth sailing. When it comes to image and video editing, it runs flawlessly. However, it's quite long so make sure to measure before getting it, and it takes up three slots in a Corsair 750d case. Since I have the case with the hard drives, it fits just barely, not even half a centimeter more.
Mainly intended for use on a screen with a resolution of 3440x1440 (ultrawide) but also on a 4K TV. The card uses the 4090 cooler, so it's unnecessary to talk about noise and temperatures. The only thing I will mention is that often the fans don't even need to work. This, of course, results in a size that may not fit in some cases.
Regarding performance, although it has a bottleneck due to the processor in my case, one can expect to play with 80+ average FPS with all settings on ultra + ray tracing with DLSS quality in games like Hogwarts Legacy, which is one of the most demanding games at the moment, while consumption averages less than 250W. Enabling frame generation simply increases the "magic" of the flames even more (20+ FPS), and I can't say that I've easily noticed the so-called artifacts during gaming, and the few times I thought I saw some, they weren't anything annoying or immersion-breaking.
The price is what it is, and I leave it to everyone's judgment. Anyone who wants to upgrade to an RTX card that can handle 1440p-ultrawide and 4K resolutions without compromises in settings, I think has only 2 options, as the 4070ti comes with 12gb which may be restrictive in the near future (e.g. Hogwarts Legacy with Ray Tracing ON requires more than 12gb VRAM even in 3440x1440 resolution). The 4090 is clearly the most "future proof" option (if there is such a thing anymore), but comes with higher power supply/power consumption requirements, as well as a 400+ euro cost for the corresponding implementation, which in Greece is an additional half a salary for many. The 4080 may have a more competitive price, but it is a safe choice and perhaps the best performance per watt proposal in RTX.
--->>>SOS! The card is large and HEAVY. Anyone who installs it in their system must use the anti-sag that comes with it or one from the market, otherwise it may lead to PCB cracking near the PCI-e connection, which will render it non-functional, as has been found in several RTX 30 or 40 series cards that did not come with an anti-sag in the box.<<<---
Beastly dimensions of 343mm, using the same cooling as the 4090, very quiet with almost no coil whine, very good efficiency compared to the 3080/3090 in terms of amps, has very good temperatures which is normal in part with these dimensions, so it needs a relatively spacious case. Now, the downside is the purchase price which is unjustifiably high, as if the company is pushing you to buy the 4090. It requires a very expensive system to deliver what it should along with a 4K monitor, because even at 2K/165hz, the card will struggle in 2-3 games. Also, regarding rumors about the cable causing problems and the adapter melting, they are myths and fairy tales that may be due to isolated cases of faulty products.
