Speed, functionality, etc. all good but newer, "hotter" disks will definitely increase temperature, especially if you transfer large files.. However, for a USB stick, it's fine and reasonably priced
The Orico case is very good, I have been using it for 6 months. Changing the M.2 SSD multiple times a day is very fast and it supports everything, including PCI 3 and PCI 4 SSDs. It is an amazing product, always connected with Type C and transfer speeds of around 900 MB. With my Windows SSD M.2 Samsung 990 Pro, the transfer speeds are fantastic. I also have a Delock case that cost me 60 euros, but I regret buying it. Buy the Orico case without hesitation
This specific case was purchased about a month ago. I placed a Patriot P300 SSD 512GB M.2 NVMe inside. From the first day (let's say it works), it has been experiencing continuous disconnections. There was a day when it disconnected and I lost some Word files that I was working on. I tried the M.2 in both exFat and NTFS to see if that made a difference, but I didn't notice any change. I tested the case on 5 computers at home and at work, and it had the same issue on all of them (all with USB 3.0). Now I am looking for a new case and I will probably go for a different chipset, in case that's the problem. In terms of disk speed testing, it reaches the speeds that I have attached in the image. I think they are very good for USB 3.0. That was the only positive aspect.
