For one person living in a small space - this is perfect and really easy to use. I put it in my small bath and fill it up using water from the shower hose. I then let it drain down into the bath.
In terms of:
1) capacity it can wash 2 large bath towels, or bedding (2 sheets and 2 pillowcases, or 1-2 week’s worth of underwear and a couple of t-shirts.
2) there are two cycles - gentle and normal - I have used both and they are good. It is manual so you set the timer (up to 15 minutes) and you will need to repeat if you want a longer wash. Plus you will need to drain the water and add fresh water to rinse. I usually do one wash cycle to 2 rinses (changing the water each time)
3) spin cycle is fantastic and really does a great job but it has smaller capacity - so it will spin one towel at a time, but it only takes 5 minutes or less.
4) it’s very compact so I can store it on a shelf in my tiny bathroom and bring it out when needed. Without water in it, it is also quite light so I can easily carry it/lift it up and down.
Things to watch:
- it can be noisy especially during the spin cycle and if it’s very noisy and moving around, then you need to rebalance the load or remove some items
- don’t put too much soap in or it will take a long to rinse
- if your clothes are very dirty then you would need to soak them first separately with a special detergent or bleach etc as the machine probably won’t manage it.
- the water tube/cable it comes with is pretty flimsy so I don’t use it and it doesn’t fit onto the water pipe that you have in your house for a standard washing machine, but you can pour water straight into it.
- the electrical cable is not that long
There are videos of the machine on YouTube so you can see it in action.
